Stay Away! I urge you to steer clear of this place, especially if you value a good spa experience. Our recent stay there was marred by a spa session that can only be described as a complete disaster.
We specifically chose this hotel for its promise of a luxurious Turkish bath (hamam) experience, complete with a rejuvenating body scrub (kese) service. However, what we encountered was far from the "best in class" service we were assured of or no service at all is a better description
The individuals assigned to us at the spa couldn't speak English or Turkish, rendering communication impossible. They were utterly incompetent and failed to provide the service we had paid for. We were left to scrub ourselves post-session, essentially wasting our time and money. When I complained to the spa's front desk, they promised the manager would call me back. Surprise, surprise—no call ever came! At checkout, I raised the issue again with the reception manager, who tried but failed to get a meaningful answer from the spa manager. Despite my frustration and willingness to find a resolution, the spa manager refused a refund and instead offered a free service on my next visit. Seriously?? Why would we return to a place that failed to deliver on its promises and wasted our time and money? The lack of customer service and accountability at this hotel is astounding. We stayed in an executive suite and paid extra for better treatment and service but we were treated poorly. While the hotel rooms were clean and the dinner was satisfactory, the breakfast left much to be desired. With hundreds of options, you'd expect at least one to have some taste, but unfortunately, that wasn't the case. In conclusion, our experience at the Wyndham Grand Levent was a complete letdown. The lack of customer care and failure to address our concerns is not something we've encountered in our extensive travels. We strongly advise against staying here and hope that the management will take our feedback serious.
