Doubletree by Hilton Istanbul Umraniye

I like Hilton Doubletree generally speaking, but this one is probably among the top two I've ever been in, maybe the best.
Super friendly staff ( Sophia at front desk is super friendly) and unlike in most of Turkey, several staff members speak good English.
The buffet breakfast is fantastic, rooms are spacious , nice and very clean, the gym can definitely be used and the hotel is connected to a nice mall. Getting to the historical part of Istanbul is easy with the metro, takes about 20 minutes. Oh and there's a pool too, but make sure you bring a swimming cap. Would definitely return and highly recommended!

Stayed at the hotel a couple of years ago. I remember my stay as pleasant and positive. The staff were helpful and caring and was able to reach them any time of the day.

This room is on the 13th floor. We had an amazing view by day and by night!

The room was very clean, very spacious.

Lots of amenities available.

Shower or a bath, which is always great to have both options!

The staff members are friendly, helpful and courteous.

Overall this is a great and luxury hotel. The view from the room is excellent which you can see the mosque and landmark buildings in Istanbul. However, if you come with the expectation of five star standards, I have to say the service is a little lower than the threshold.

Super cool hotel! Great atmosphere, friendly workers, excellent room service! Under the hotel there is a 6-story mall store where you can buy well. The breakfast is very tasty, rich and filling! Highly recommend!

Very nice hotel in the Asian part of Istanbul with a great view of the city. The treatment of the staff is excellent, especially Mehmet in the pool and gym

Stayed at this Hilton early May 2024.
Clean room, clean lobby.
Very friendly staff. Didnt get the chance to use the pool, although went and see it looked very nice and clean.
Location wise, quite far from touristic attractions, almost 20-30min by Taxi to Uskudar and Kadikoy, however if you are young and willing to walk you can do better maybe.
Other than that, the shopping centre next to the hotel has anything you want, from Migros to Mavi and cafe, specially the tea cafe downstairs was perfect spot.

Istanbul is a nice, vibrant city.

I had a four night stay which was pleasant. Staff at the front desk were great - accomodating to specific needs and always available. Breakfast was okay, although the area where it was served feels a bit cramped (especially if a lot of people are getting breakfast at the same time). Slightly weird layout with the entrance two floors down from reception. Easy access to metro to take you into the city
