For a hotel facing the Bosphorus, it's also unfortunate that there is so little outdoor space.
We went in the summer and were able to enjoy the indoor pool and the spa jacuzzi, but a pool in the sun, the gardens, and a terrace would have been great, which is a shame.
they said the next grade has twin bed available with additional cost of €150 per night. then we told them we got jade membership and asked whether we could have upgrade with this. they then said our membership is not eligible for this room upgrade. anyway, they offered a free upgrade to us at the end but told us we couldn't use other benefits from the jade membership , e.g. complimentary breakfast....
not sure how this jade membership works , feels like everything is not eligible and only subject to their mood
The hotel is very beautiful, the breakfast is amazing in variety, excellent SPA and swimming pool. The rooms are spacious, the staff is responsive, the rooms are cleaned several times a day.
Keep in mind that upon check-in you will be charged a deposit, and upon check-out a service fee
While the hotel boasts an impressive location and beautiful amenities, I found that the prices were quite high compared to the level of service provided. Unfortunately, the service did not meet my expectations given the premium rate.
A particular point of concern was the billing process. I recommend thoroughly reviewing all charges, as I noticed fees for services that I did not request. Despite raising these issues, I found it challenging to receive a satisfactory response. The main office in China referred me back to the branch, which made it difficult to resolve my concerns.
Overall, I believe there is significant room for improvement in both service and transparency regarding charges. I hope my feedback will encourage the hotel to enhance guest experiences in the future.
Starters arrived last, burger was cold and dry
Scone was hard and not fresh
Given butter cream instead of Clotted cream
Orange honey instead of pink rose jams
The whole experience was underwhelming. The presentation and location was nice but the food items were not to the standard of the hotel.
The person that was meant to be our server disappeared for a while so we had to find someone to pay and leave. Not worth the price. I’ve had better for less.
