I just love it with all my heart, the hotel looks amazing from the inside, the staff is so kind and helpful, the rooms are so comfortable and beautiful, the windows overlook the Burj Khalifa

I’m surprised people give this hotel anything more than 2 stars. It’s the most poorly managed 4 star hotel I’ve ever stayed in. I feel sorry for the staff, which might be more like slave labor, probably being paid very low wages, consequently you get low grade service on every level. For example, you wait way too long to receive your food. You must ask a few times to finally get it, but often it is cold. We gave up eating here. The staff, although kind, seem very lost and confused. We’ve stayed at many JW Marriott’s, which are great, but this hotel is more like staying at a Holiday Inn with a better quality room. If you get a good deal it might be worth it, but if you’re expecting a nice hotel experience look elsewhere.

I stayed here for just one night in December.
The hotel staff were neither friendly nor unfriendly, just average.
The rooms are spacious but very simple and not fancy at all.
We could see Burj Khalifa from the balcony.
I didn't have any particularly good or bad impressions, nothing memorable.

I am deeply disappointed with the way this hotel treats its guests. I called over ten times to make a reservation, and each time, I was transferred to the reservations department, but no one answered. They took my number, promising to call me back, but I never received any call. When I spoke to an employee and expressed my dissatisfaction with the service, she assured me that she would transfer me again, but yet again, no one responded. This level of unprofessionalism is unacceptable and leaves a very poor impression.

This has been the best hotelll everrrrr. Manu said that the tone was rude and there attitude is very bad, but according to my calculations they were all so nice and charming making me feel special. Jean our server for breakfast was super nice and helpful. Carla was super nice and kind. She is very talkative which I love. 🙃

Wow, what an absolute pleasure dealing with the reservation department at this hotel! I had the honor of speaking to someone, who I believe was Indian, and let me tell you, their charm and professionalism were truly unmatched. From the moment the conversation began, their rude tone and unhelpful attitude made me feel so special—like I was clearly wasting their precious time.
It’s amazing how they managed to make something as simple as feel like an uphill battle. The impatience, the dismissiveness, and the general “why-are-you-even-calling” vibe were just the cherry on top of this unforgettable experience.
If this is the level of service they’re offering before I’ve even stepped foot in the hotel, I can only imagine the wonderful surprises waiting during an actual stay! Honestly, why bother with politeness or customer care when you can treat guests like an inconvenience?
Needless to say, I won’t be recommending this place to anyone. Thanks, reservation team, for making my choice so easy.

Breathtaking and beautiful Hotel. The valet were so curious and quick even when retrieving my car. The security staff were great and the executives at the lobby. You feel welcomed and elite as you walk in here. Rooms are clean and well supplied. The ambience, the fragrance and even the magnanimous chandelier in the lobby was worth enjoying. Amazing great hotel by Mr. Ajay Bhatia who is also owner of SOL.

Overall the hotel itself is very nice and a great location. The only thing I would mention is that is does not have the same welcoming feeling that you get when you go to other 5-star properties in the region, such as the W, Ritz, Saint Regis, JW, and so on. The views are amazing and the architecture is beautiful, but they definitely miss this touch of outstanding service that the others offer. I am happy with my stay but not eager to go back - if you stay in Dubai and want a 5-star Marriott property this is a nice hotel, but I reckon you will not leave absolutely delighted like in other Marriott properties. I believe this is something the management should focus on to instil this culture that has made the other 5 star Marriott properties such a wonderful experience.

The Dubai Edition is going to be among my favorite hotels in Dubai. Its serene atmosphere and pure minimalist interiors are absolutely amazing. From the moment you step in it, you can know that it is not an ordinary hotel. Our room was overlooking Burj Khalifa, so it was a beautiful view. The service and staff were really kind and helpful. I highly recommend it when you want to stay in Downtown Dubai.

Top service, got a complementary shoe clean as well. Asked for extra blankets received them swiftly. My shorts fell from the balcony to the floor beneath, I informed the reception and received them promptly as well. The pool has a nice view to the burj khalifa. It’s a 5 min walk away great location. Overall had a wonderful and pleasant stay. Would 100% recommend.
