I read the other reviews and i didn’t find any of the reported complaints to be true. Of course there are other more luxuries, newer hotels with perfect 100 inch TVs, but you have to be ready to pay for it. So, for the money we spent this is great value.
Would stay away from this one in the future.
Cons
No valet , Bad behaviour from Security manager at Parking area - they don't care about their customers and they care of their owners and managers , Non welcoming staff , No one to help for luggage service , bath tub filled with water after bath , Poor room service - Asked for towel and dental kit and they came back without towel and Dental kit and they came inside room to check if these things were available or not-Shows lack of trust on customers. Upon asking he said that his Supervisor instructed him to do so - No shower mat , B2 parking area smells like gutter.

Staff helpful with early check-in.
Rooms feature quality furniture.
Good buffet meals as part of our tariff.
Great swimming pool with views of city. Location good: close to the Creek area of the city.
CONS:
TV did not work well. Poor reception and no satellite channels.
Our room was not as grand as is depicted in pictures.
Did not like manner of the somewhat dominating check-out manager while he tried to query/pressure me as to what kind of review I was going to give
CONCLUSION: a good hotel, with a few little issues to be addressed.
People in hotel are friendly and helpful.
Hotel is up for a decent renovation.
On the outside you think walking into a cruiseship but when entering it need a decent make over.
Specially the rooms and general parts need to be renewed.
