Park Regis Kris Kin Hotel

I wanted to spend some time with my guest, and chose Grandstand at the lobby level. Being the weekend I expected the bar to be full, they did have guests scattered around the bar. I ordered a beer and a single malt together, first the beer was served and later was the single malt. Both were served by two different staff carrying the drinks in bare hands (No salver used at all throughout the service). We did ask for a repeat of drinking, but had to call the server all the time, they were busy gossiping by the bar. Had to ask for a change of ashtray, the used glasses were not cleared inspite of drinks repeat. Ordered Cheesy jalapeno with fries and harissa sauce..that didn't come along again the staff was lost and didn't know the menu, she bought some mayo mixed with peppers claiming it's harissa..it was not. The manager was hanging around, but didn't bother to say hello, to any guests. Service was pathetic, expected a 5 star service it was below par. The staff is still wearing old football world cup tshirts sponsored by beverage company...🤔 These are my observations, need to improve alot.

I appreciate your response, but I must respectfully disagree with your characterization of my review. My intention was not to disparage your establishment or its staff, but rather to provide honest feedback based on my experience.

As a fellow hotelier, I understand the challenges of running a hospitality business, and I recognize the effort that goes into maintaining high standards. However, the issues I raised such as the lack of attentive service, the improper handling of drinks, and the confusion over the menu were significant enough to affect my overall experience.

I believe that constructive criticism is essential for growth, and I shared my observations in the hope that it might lead to improvements. My expectations were based on the reputation and standards associated with your establishment, and I was disappointed that they were not met.

Stayed in Park Regis Kris Kin Bur Dubai Hotel in the month of June 2024. We had booked 2 rooms with king size beds. The rooms are okay. Nothing great for the standard of a 5 star hotel (which they claim). In fact the rooms are a bit old which was evident form the condition of the linen and other items in the room. The room service of the hotel is very poor. The housekeeping staff kept forgetting to keep the towels in the rooms. One or other toiletries item was always missing. For such issues we had to always call them and ask for it. Again, nothing like a 5 star hotel. Talking about the buffet breakfast, it was nothing more than a 2 or 3 star hotel. I would say even less. The items were less and to talk about the taste, there was none. The food was literally bad in taste. The service of the staff at the breakfast time was so rude and utterly slow. I don't know the reason but for a room full of tables which were around 25-30, there were only 4-5 servers to help. The food items would finish and they would take so much time to refill. I have never stayed in a hotel where food was such an issue. The only reason I would say the hotel is okay, is because it's near to a market place. So we could go out and have food comfortably. I would seriously not recommend this hotel to anyone. And in no way this hotel offered us services of a 5 star. The reception people were okay and helped us. But still, not worth any money we spent there.

We came here because we are expecting a good service but they gave us the poorest service I’ve had in my life and unprofessional especially to my visitors. They also make us feel humiliated as if we are not human. One guy even went inside to the girl sauna to tell us that we cannot us it.

Unprofessional

I had a disappointing experience with this hotel. I attempted to book a room through their website, which showed a better rate than booking through another site. However, the website was slow and unresponsive, and it took a long time to select a room and reach the payment option. When I tried to make payment, I received an error message stating that there was a technical issue and to contact the hotel reservation team to complete the booking.
After contacting the hotel reservation team via email, I explained the issue and asked for help completing the booking for 3 adults, 2 rooms, and 3 nights. Unfortunately, I did not receive a response until I sent multiple reminders, and the response I received was unhelpful. The reservation agent offered a special rate that was actually higher than what was advertised on their website, and it was only for a triple room.
I found it embarrassing that they did not even read my email request or provide accurate information. I had to reply and advise them to double-check my email requirement and advise the correct room rate and booking link. Despite my efforts, they did not respond for three days, which was unprofessional.
I ultimately decided to book a room at Double Tree by Hilton, which was located just across the road. The staff there were professional, informed, and well-behaved. I had stayed at Double Tree by Hilton before, but their rates were a bit high this time. I decided to try Park Regis to save some money, but it proved to be a mistake. This experience highlighted the importance of professionalism and value for money when choosing a 5-star hotel, rather than trying to save a few bucks and losing peace of mind.
