Kingsgate Canal is a perfect hotel to stay in Al Jaddaf region. Very quiet with comfortable equipments.
Housekeeping is brilliant and that's the main reason for crediting a five star mark for this hotel; I don't know how to appreciate Ranjit and Rosan for providing a very best experience for me during my stay at this hotel. They are very organised, professional, and friendly.
In terms of location, it is around 1km away (15 mins walk)from metro station and bus stops are very close to it. You can not miss the opportunity for walking around Dubai Wharf and enjoy it's wonderful scenery.
Hotel has a good restaurant with delicious foods and fare prices as well as very professional and helpful receptionists.
Breakfast is served at Grand Kingsgate hotel, and it can be improved (I would rate 2.5 out of 5 for breakfast)

The only good thing about this hotel is the location other than that there is NOTHING ..I had guests coming over for a few hours they called me they were like guest are not allowed after 12AM I was like why they are just visiting me for few hours they were like no if they didn’t leave in half and hour they have to pay I guess 150 each guest? Wth where are we? So bad… ink hotel is better the one behind it I moved there and they were really nice and helpful

Very poor experience. We had to stay there twice, as we were travelling in a group and stayed there before and after a cruise. The reception people are poorly trained, it needs 3 people to check in one party. Rooms were not ready, even at 5pm, half of the group did not have towels. When complaining, it took hours to bring a few towels. Some rooms didn't get towels at all. There was not enough toilet paper, we asked for it ... eventually we bought it nearby. The rooms were dirty, only the bed linens were clean. The bathrooms were shabby, too. Rusty bins, mold, hardly water coming out of the shower head. On our second stay we made the same bad experience again and also noticed, that other individually travelling parties had absolutely the same problems.

We arrived battered by the rain to stay for a night and it was a cold day. Nikki at the reception was lovely and checked us in quickly. However, the hotel stay was a complete disappointment, no slippers, no toothpaste/toothbrush, shampoo/conditioner, bare minimum coffee, no coffee mate and two sugars only.When requested, they provided with bare minimum two sugars and two coffee mates . Won't stay ever again!

I stayed at this hotel with a friend for three nights i a twin room. The staff are friendly and even help you carry your luggage up the stairs at the entrance. We were part of a travel group and wanted to check-in earlier. The staff were very keen to get the rooms ready fast. You get two free bottles of water each day. The housekeeping is good too. You can also buy drinks from the minibar or in the lobby. They even offer some small snacks or souvenirs. There is also a restaurant, but we didn't try it. The breakfast is in the hotel nearby. You have to walk two minutes so thats not a problem at all. The breakfast was okay. There are some 24/7 supermarkets and a pharmacy near the hotel. You can walk to the metro in about 5-10 minutes. All in all I would recommend the hotel. If you don't expect or need a luxury hotel or the best location it's a good choice.

They charge for everything, on top of the room price, except air and if they could charge for that they would.

Room prices a year ago used to be half the price and you would think to double the hotel quality and staff would need to improve but nope. The quality is the same and in fact run down now and the staff are much worse - rude and unhelpful. They don’t even answer the phone when you call 0!
Overall, save your money and book somewhere else!

The hotel team is not friendly at all.
The room is not well designed.
They are asking for the ID of any person coming to the hotel, even if he is a guest coming for a visit.
They are not providing water every day for the guests who will stay more than one night, but they can provide water if you will book every day separately !!!.

Unacceptable Service and Long Check-in Wait Times for Weary Travelers
Avoid this hotel if you're arriving from a long flight or have important commitments.
Despite their advertised 3 PM check-in time, I witnessed a guest wait over 3 hours, becoming visibly frustrated.
When I arrived at 2 PM, I waited for an hour, only to see the previously upset guest check-in ahead of me.
The receptionist vanished in front of me after checked her in 15.00, leaving me waiting until 4:30 PM. ( totally 2.30 hr. ) without contact.
This level of service is unacceptable for tired travelers or those with tight schedules.

Very quite place, room is neet and clean, but the management needs to look for improvement on amenities, also no iron box, no laundry bag, no slippers in the bathroom they have only shampo, no soap as well.

This hotel is charging 100dh to allow your visitor! I lived in Dubai 17 yrs, the normal process is to take the ID of the visitor for security reasons, but what is the 100dh for? Besides I booked for 2 people but I stayed alone. Even prison or jail has visiting hours! I payed for my stay and my room for 11 days. I ask to speak to the manager and they told me he or she will give me a call but for 11 days I haven't heard from anyone despite following up couple of times. It's a waste of money to stay in this hotel, I really regret I chose this hotel. Besides can you be honest and put these conditions clearly written and not a surprise upon check in where you don't have a choice of canceling the booking anymore.
