New and luxury hotel, but I have a note: There is a discount on rooms by code of one of the celebrities who made the advertisement. When I used the code and tried at the reception, she said that the discount exists and did not tell me, when I came to pay by bank card, I saw that the amount was different, I went back and told her that the amount was wrong. Haha, I am alone, no one is with me. You see someone with me, and even if you are someone's superiority, the offer does not change its price, and you change the price. I noticed that the hotel is very excellent, but this behavior upset me, especially since I come from Abu Dhabi at night and tired, and in the morning I have another job.

The rooms are very spacious, breakfast was superb, the hospitality of staff are amazing, the housekeeping are very accommodating. Theresa from the pool/bar was very kind to have a nice conversation with us while serving us with drinks. It makes a difference when you feel welcomed. Great customer service overall! Our stay was great,just the shuttle bus service is not useful at all, they want you to book 24 hrs in advance, there are only 3 bus times service, morning, lunch, and afternoon, the check in procedure is quite long, if you are coming from a really tiring trip a quicker check in would have helped. When we phone the operator there's a delay in answer. Otherwise, most staff are welcoming specially to the buffet staff Janice, Catherine,May, Roston and Nishar who have been exceptional with their service making our breakfast experience very pleasant.

I’ve been already two times here and I love everything about this hotel. Great rooms, great breakfast, staff is very welcoming! I’d like to thank Adel, Theresa, Kyi and all the staff of Stage pool lounge for everything. Can’t wait to be back!

When we booked we indicated that we would be arriving in the early hours of the morning and asked if that would be a problem. We were told that if the room was ready on arrival we could go in.
The check out is at 12:00h, we understand that the check in is not until 15:00, but I do not think that being the time it is (14:28h) the room is not ready yet. We have been seen having to sleep in the resepcion because of this. A lot of lack of consideration from the staff.

This place not just for weekend or vacation or to take a little bit off relax… if you you have a business to do or something important like that … it’s a great Hotel for family, children, friends, meetings, parties, activities

It's a great hotel. It's very clean and nice. The atmosphere is nice and relaxing. Stuff is really nice and kind. I would give a big thanks to 'May' for her kindness and how she doing a great job to serve customer. I will highly recommend my friends to stay at this hotel for their visit to Dubai.

Occidental has always been a go-to place for me because the hotel is absolutely fabulous. What makes it better? are the people here. Imad & Marie have been very welcoming. as much as i can understand how much a simple review can mean to them, this one definitely belongs to them. The hotel gets better than it is because of them.

Their services are top notch and their staff are friendly. I loved their breakfast buffet because there were so many to choose from. I gave them 3 stars when it comes to location because I always have to take a taxi when going from the metro station. Their pool was also great

Location and service was top notch . The rooms where clean and well maintained every day . We only opted for breakfast. Was clean and well presented, was only a bit repetitive otherwise delicious. Would definitely come here again if I were to ever visit dubai again . Thank you

- The location is very convenient for traveling around Dubai. Many major attractions and public transport options are easily accessible from the hotel.
**Negative Aspects:**
1. **Bedbugs:**
- Unfortunately, my stay was marred by the presence of bedbugs. I was bitten every night. I called reception three times and waited for assistance, but no one came. Eventually, I directly asked the Room Service staff to change my bed linens the next morning, which they finally did.
2. **Unhelpful Staff:**
- I needed assistance to purchase a local SIM card and approached the reception for help. The staff member was very rude and refused to assist me, even arguing with me. He didn't have a name tag, so I couldn't identify him.
3. **Fire Alarms:**
- During my stay, the fire alarm went off twice late at night. The alarm was extremely loud and woke me up abruptly. The noise was so unbearable that I had to cover my ears. This happened on the first night, significantly affecting my rest and overall experience.
4. **Air Conditioning Issues:**
- On the last day, I got sick due to the air conditioning. It was either too cold or not working at all, making it difficult to adjust to a comfortable temperature. This inconsistency added to the discomfort during my stay.
While the hotel has potential with its good food, cleanliness, and convenient location, these issues significantly impacted my stay, leading to a less than satisfactory experience. Improvements in pest control, staff training, emergency protocols, and air conditioning maintenance are necessary to ensure a comfortable and pleasant stay for future guests.
