We loved the building, atmosphere and the refurbished lift! Staff was always friendly. We had a suite with sauna that worked perfect after cold evenings. It was dark and quite enough in the upper floor. A lot of interesting places are in walking distance. The breakfast was good but fell behind the expectations we had because of everything else.

Spent two nights in the historical building junior suite. Beside getting a great off season price for the 37m2 suite ,I found the 1912 building charming with early 20th century art nouveau reminders everywhere. Very clean ,great buffet breakfasts, very kind and flexible staff ( I mean they have made it possible to have vegetarian breakfast box ready for a very early departure....) All and all ,not my first time in Tallinn ,nor my last time ,and sure enough if I need to book a room there again ,this hotel will be toplist .Did I mention location 😉❤️

read this!true story-short version!had been a regular guest since 10years,came 2/3times a year in this hotel-say 20times by now.had a confirmed booking since march 13tht for holidays december 12tht til 30tht.at dec 11tht got a mail that they cancel my confirmed booking for dec!!!1day before coming!they wrote that i 3workers do not come to work if i should arrive there-they dont feel safe when i am there.what bullshit is that?was there last end of april,beginning of may2024!so if anything wouldnt be right,why they didnt cancel my holiday after that???this story is not over yet,but please think more than twice about booking a hotel like that!!!and i can proof everything-TRUE STORY!!!!never ever again!!!!!😡😡😡😡

Excellent location, nice reception, good value for money. Clean. Good selection at breakfast. The family rooms's sofa bed could have been more comfortable. Sound isolation to 3rd floor could have been better, the noise from the bar next door could be heard at night.

We had a family room. In a building near the hotel and the room was pretty good. The extra bed wasn't that comfortable as the main bed, but good enough for kids. :D
Breakfast was nice and staff was friendly. Would recommend if you want to have a good hotelroom with affordable price in a good location. 👍

A lovely hotel, large quiet rooms, super clean. A heating control unit in the room so we could decide the temperature we preferred. Staff so friendly. Breakfast buffet catered for every country's preferences: English, Scandinavian, German, French. Also, location super central.

The staff member that checked me in was exceptionally miserable. I will give him credit ashe did print off a couple of items for me, though he did sit and watch me for 25 minutes before I had to remind him ha I had emailed him a couple of things to print. Once printed he basically threw the paper at me.
I was not told how to find my room. Just told it was across rhe Road.
The room was not great, thankfully it was a discounted rate. The minibar was not working because there was only 1 plug for both the fridge and TV. The shower room had no curtain so water went everywhere. I had to cool drink down by opening the window and putting the can on the ledge.
No kettle or tea and coffee facilities which is fine but then why have a shoe sponge, shoe horn and a couple of other items. Most would appreciate a kettle.
The AC unit was non functional also and there were guests running up and down the corridor all night which I could hear clearly as the walls are paper thin.
I recommend the IBIS budget hotel. Lovely staff. Good breakfast and good location for a slightly cheaper price

Decently priced for it's prime location and large rooms, however in the winter you need to adjust each of the heaters located around the room manually. Tasty breakfast.

A nice place with incredible service. We were offered a discounted upgrade to the master suite for our four person stay before we got there. We we promised that the upgrade could take four people. getting into the room, there was a bed and a fold out chair which was broken. Reported this to the staff and they brought up a single person cot that I a 70 kg person fell though immediately upon laying on it. In the end me and my girlfriend slept on the floor of the nicest room they have. Breakfast was okay, but the juice machine was broken.

I wanted to take a shower with hot water after staying cold environment outside.
However at 21:30 there was no hot water supply.
I called the reception desk and asked if there was an issue with the boiler.
They said I would be able to get hot water supply soon.
After half an hour, nothing changed.
I gave up and went to bed with uncomfortable feeling.
Better stay away from this hotel.
This is not a 4 star hotel.
