Hotel Servigroup Calypso

first stay here and will definitely be back. wasn’t sure what to expect with it being a 3* hotel, as we usually stay in 4*’s. pleasantly surprised throughout, spotlessly clean, cleaners do an amazing job throughout. they are super friendly (especially the older lady with glasses) im sorry! I didn’t catch her name. breakfast only, but it was lovely. it’s the same everyday, but as to be expected with breakfast, not much more you can offer. pastries, cereal, hams, cheeses, breads and so on. and of course, the contents of a full English. No hash browns though! I’d like them to consider this for the future (lol) Beds are comfortable, air con is amazing and not noisy. balcony’s a decent size, even get a clothes rack! Super handy and a pleasant surprise Pool entertainment was great, with some light music throughout the day. if I had to pick a fault, the only thing I didn’t like was a gentleman letting himself in to rooms to “check the tv’s .. unsure why as we’d never requested the television to be checked, but I presume it was planned maintenance. beautiful, clean and would definitely return

i had room 319 in the annex facing the pool , lovely room with a comfortable bed and pillows , hotel is lovely so clean , looks spotless everywhere , cleaners are always busy in the hotel cleaning. pool are was lovely always plenty of sunbeds to be had anytime of the day , so no rush for sun loungers , snack bar , bar , and seating area too. i was half board breakfast was lovely english back bacon and lovely sausages , plenty pastries ,porridge,fruit etc evening meal time was also nice with plenty choice, but could do with more vegetables , the hotel is in a fantastic area for beach , bars , market etc the hotel staff were lovely , and very helpful , i would definitely stay her again 😊 and felt totally safe being a solo lady traveller thank you so much for a lovely stay x

Returned to calypso due to location, sunbed/pool situation and decent facilities Pool / open 8 to 8 which is sensible . Plenty of beds so no one needs to queue or be up at the crack of dawn for a bed . Pool is decent with some day time entertainment . Pool bar with drinks and snacks . Not a great choice of snacks Rooms . Asked for a certain room which we got ( thank you ) Air conditioning is really good and not noisy like some . My friend was quite annoyed that there was no kettle for her morning coffee ( a continued gripe amongst these reviews ) . Spacious enough with lovely big balconies Location. Best ever . Right next to loads of pubs and 2 streets away from the beach Food We were half board . Breakfast was nice . Evening dinner was a hit and a miss . Always something to eat . Didn’t like that evening meal started at 7 . Most hotels are 6. Too late for us so ate out some nights Staff . Overall all lovely . No complaints Would return due to location and sunbed status

Beautiful hotel , great location & staff are spot on !! Rooms could do with a kettle to make a brew . This was my third stay & will definitely go again .

First time staying at this hotel, on a corner room looking onto the ***** as I requested, staying here bed&breakfast, can't fault it,plenty of sunbeds and parasols, pool lovely, that impressed have already booked for next year, Well Done all the staff at the Calypso!!!

Room lovely and clean. Cleaners do a very good job and even tidied my items up for me. Reception staff polite and friendly and the hotel was spotless. Food on the evening was great and the meat was great quality. VERY GOOD AIR CON 🥶 It’s 1 min away from the start of the strip/bars, and about 5 mins from the beach 🏖️ My only suggestion would be to give the single rooms an additional towel, I found I was reusing mine until the cleaner replaced the next day. When you’re on holiday you tend to have more showers than at home. Would definitely stay again. I don’t usually review but this hotel deserves it. Thank you.

Close to the beach, the position is good.

This is a lovely hotel close to all the entertainment and only a 10 minute walk to the beach. Check in was really quick and efficient and all the staff are really friendly. Rooms are dated and there is no kettle but this doesn't detract from the fact that it was spotlessly clean, beds made every day and clean towels every day. The walk in shower was really nice and the beds were really comfortable. We had a room at the front and the balcony was a sun trap. We were on breakfast only basis and couldn't fault it. The choice was amazing. The pool area looked lovely and there were a few people out there sunbathing but we didn't get a chance to try it as unfortunately we were only there for 3 days. Would definitely stay here again and would recommend it to friends.

We stayed here for a long weekend , spotlessly clean thru out , friendly , polite and professional staff , food was buffets , from breakfast to evening meals , with plenty of choice to cater for all tastes , rooms on the smallish side but saying that enough room to relax and get ready , beds really comfy and made up everyday with fresh n clean bedding ,

An excellent weekend, very clean, very good service and very good breakfast.
