Despite overlooking the road/pavement as well as the sea, this didn’t impact too much, as you’re slightly outside of the hustle and bustle (but just a few minutes’ walk into it!)

I felt welcome and comfortable. We chose a sea-view room, and the views were lovely

The room was air conditioned and had a steamy, hot shower, which was nice after a day of diving or snorkeling

And a very nice toastie for just 3 euros! There’s also a sun terrace on the 3rd floor. That’s the limit to the facilities, but it’s a small place and guess that’s part of the charm if you’re not looking for a resort

The room was clean, the hotel is located very close to the main street with a loot of restaurants and shops and only 5 minutes walking from the sea. The staff is amazing, especially Anastacio from the night shift

Near the stores , beach , bus station , but in a side street so it's very quiet. The breakfast is good and fresh. The hotel is so clean like we never saw in any other hotel. We highly recommend this lovely hotel

At the end the owner told us a story about how he makes his own olive oil and raki after the holidays and in November they have a big party every year. He even gave us all 1x 100ml raki or 1x 100ml olive oil per person

We arrived on July 21 and left on July 28. When we arrived they were very welcoming and open-hearted, we were early before the rooms were ready. We had some shots and cocktails with the staff and chatted with them

Our group of 10 people usually came to the hotel in different groups from 2 am to 7 am. When you leave you can leave your key at the front desk where someone will take care of you and your key 24 hours a day

He makes this himself and it is very pure. When we checked out at noon, we could use the pool until our cab arrived at 4 in the afternoon. Our stay was very nice and pleasant and we recommend it to everyone

My husband and I stayed at Arlen Beach Hotel for 17 nights. We booked a one bedroom apartment which was very spacious with a large balcony overlooking the sea. There was daily cleaning with fresh towels every day

Our flight was very late,and after check out they kindly suggested us to stay by the pool area,offered us some towels and after ordering some drinks in their little bar,we got them on a house

FYI - Crete does get earthquakes generally all is well was a bit of a surprise at 6am when the room shook, seems there was couple more but i was unaware. Occasionally sand dust from the Sahara but not that regular

We were absolutely satisfied with this hotel. People forget that this is 2 star hotel and they expect much more than they should. Rooms are okay, we stayed in a room where we had separated beds, fridge, air conditioning

Not sure if all rooms are the same, but our room had a double bed, closet and hangers, table, 2 lower benches (let's say) where you could seat or put other things/clothes, so we had several places that served as storage

Iro doesnt have its own reception, all you need as well as check in and breakfast and dinner is in Sergious hotel which is located just by the Iro

Food at Sergious is AMAZING, lots of choice and tasteful, fresh, just perfect

The breakfast, served at Sergio Hotel from 7:30-10:30 - was diverse, although some dishes repeated daily, but tasty, filling, and you could always pick different type of food each day, so you didn't repeat what you ate

Lastly, the price for a two-week stay at City Pearl was unbeatable. It’s a fantastic value for such a wonderful experience

It’s clean and quite peaceful (but possibly noisier in the season) (Typically you are expected to put used toilet paper in a bag inside a lidded bucket kept next to the loo and empty it daily

Personal service, friendlt atmosphere and safe. The clean pool and the snack bar were a winner. The snack bar/ bar is reasonably priced. It was great for us adults to sit and take a beer while the kids enjoyed themselves

It was very quiet during our stay as we were out of the main season. The pool is clean and safe and a small area sectioned off for toddlers. I had the double bed which was firm - it suited me as I have a bad back

Absolutely first class in every way. The owners can’t do enough for you and the villas are spotless and spacious and contained everything we needed. There were 6 of us and all of us were delighted with the accommodation

The view of the bay is beautiful with the mountains and coast. Immediately in front of the apartment is a decent since pool but this is partly obscured by the tiled roof of a seating/dining area adjacent to the bar

There is plenty of parking at the Villas and we managed to get under the shaded parking for both nights. The apartment has a double bed and twin beds. The double bedroom has a fan above the bed (which helped)

Rooms: small and micro bathrooms, with a balcony, it is worth taking with a view of the sea, well-maintained. During the day the temperature in the room was unbearable - air conditioning for a fee

Such a 5/10, not very varied Pool: small but sufficient with a beautiful view of the sea, I recommend taking sunbeds in the morning Beautiful place, I recommend it

It was very good for the money. The rooms are simple, enough for a night's sleep. The Czech lady at the pool bar is a very unsympathetic person, the drinks are appallingly disgusting, you can only drink white lady

Food: meals served in the restaurant in the hotel next door, very tasty and the service was extremely friendly. at the pool bar (ouzo, local wine, beer, rum) then at the hotel reception until 11 p

Location: descending stairs to the mini beach and promenade, on the other side exit to the main street with numerous shops, car and bicycle rentals, close to the road leading to old Hersonissos

A place which offers a lot of bang for the buck. It has convenient and furnished rooms, some of them with a sea view. Directly in front of the hotel there's a sandy beach with a gentle slope, pleasant for swimming

Nice place to relax. Very close to a reasonable priced beach supermarket. Also toilets are nearby in the restaurant.

Housing, pool, mini gym, restaurant, beach, all at one place. Very good food.

We can wholeheartedly recommend booking a half board: it includes a filling English/continental breakfast with instant coffee/tea and a-la-carte dinner priced up to appx. 10 euro, plus a small free dessert

And the service girls working there are very keen to assist you

the rooms are always kept very clean by the staff who take care of every aspect of cleaning especially in the bathroom. daily linen change, at the reception they are very kind and extremely available

The best location in hersonissos. In the center. Clean and has air condition. The staff are great- especially Dimitri ! The hotel doesn't have a pool... i didnt mind it because the beach is so close. And its affordable.

From the hotel you can also walk uphill to Koutouloufaris (10 minutes walk) where there are some very good restaurants/cafés with an awesome view and a bit windier, very nice on a hot day!! PREMISES: we stayed in family-room 01, groundfloor, which is composed of 2 rooms, 1 kitchenette, 1 bathroom with shower+toilet and your own terrasse which was great for baby so he could play around outside

The kitchenette has a good fridge and a sink, it is of course not fully equipped so bring your own necessities such as a fork,spoon, knife, sugar, bread, snacks, cups, cloth, sponge, soap, 45 liter trash-bags, i STRONGLY recommend that you bring your own french-press coffee maker, cuz COFFEE in hotels is generally not good in crete ;-) The all-inclusive food, is low quality though, expect to choose...

Good to know: LOCATION: well located, we didn't need a car, 5 minutes walk to the SELECT supermarket (better than the tiny MANOS supermarket), 8 minutes walk to the famous Star Beach Village where you have free entrance and access to 5 or 6 huge swimmingpools, toddler playground and beach-chairs and nice beach and nice restaurants

There is a greek salat every day, but it has 10 dice of feta for 20 people ;-) so we pimped out dinner with extras that we bought in the supermarket :-) The swimmingpool in the hotel is VERY good, in the sunlight all day, and just across the bar/restaurant

Our room was in the shadow until 10 AM and again from 14:30 local time. There were 2 single beds and 1 double bed. The double bed had a very hard mattress, which was fine for me. There are no doors between those 2 rooms

They have helped us out many times during our week, we also felt very much at home. The HOTEL: has about 25 rooms, a parking, and if you can't find it just look for it across the public "adam-swimmingpool" club

Great location, nice and quiet place, not too big and all the personele is very friendly … CHARMING ! Clean confortable room, good bed, we were incredibly helped by Aspa, she could give recomendations, directions and even concrete help when we lost a wallet in the public transportation

A lovely outside dining area in addition to the indoor one, redecorated and refurbished bedrooms, but the lovely atmosphere is unchanged and the food as nice as ever and the rooms lovely and clean as always

We returned to this lovely family hotel in May this year, we have been going there for 10 years now but we had not been able to go for more than 2 years because of the Pandemic

All staff were very lovely, attentive and welcoming, and just honestly absolutely amazing people! Special thankyou to Nikos, who would always chat to me, and check how my holiday was going

This is a simple, low-cost hotel, but we loved it! It is cosy, friendly, clean. You have a nice, quite deep, swimming pool. A Polish, kind receptionist that is always willing to help

It's clean, good breakfast even though it is the same every day. A little bit off the main road but very close too all you need (shops, buses, beaches- the beaches there are not great but you can find nice spots)

5 euro per day – I did not need this at the room stayed fairly cool) / Safe (17 euro per week) / Fridge (3 euro per day) / Dinner (if not included in your booking is available for 16 euro per person) Theres a gym that looked well equipped (not that I used it)

Dimitris - the owner - is friendly and open for a chat. Breakfasts are not varied (almoust every day the same), but one can choose from quite many sweet and salty options

They really made my experience great, and I honestly have no negatives at all. I wish I could have stayed longer, and I definitely want to go back again in the future. I was on a solo holiday and honestly felt so safe

Everything else corresponds to the cost (interior, state of mind, Territory, distance from the sea). I liked the breakfast, in the village it is unlikely that there will be cheaper and denser

Nevertheless, the service is friendly, the food is not great, but you can eat it, the swimming pool in the pictures seemed much bigger (as it is in the pictures), but it is there and the water is clean

We were very worried about the negative reviews, but everything turned out fine on the spot. We arrived late, dinner was already over, the hostess was very friendly, fed and watered

The price initially makes it clear that this is not a luxury class, but three stars, and even for three stars the price is low, so the price-quality ratio exceeded expectations

There is a separate pool for the little ones, as well as a pool for adults, which surprised with the depth - more than half of the pool is much deeper than human growth

Meals at the hotel with a Greek twist, there was no banal oatmeal for breakfast, but the breakfast did not get worse. Dinner was plentiful, varied, there was even soup
