Beautiful hotel -- spacious rooms with views onto hills and sea, with superb marbled bathrooms. Great golf course with excellent and friendly pro

Similarly the coffee machine was superb but the pods were not automatically replaced. So we had to ask for face cloths and coffee pods at reception which complied readily. Water bottles, however, were replaced every day

A great place to base a week of exploring Crete-- plenty of parking for our rental car. The east and south coasts were within easy reach. To the west Rethymno was within an easy day's drive but Haina was a bit too far

The room is very luxurious and spacious. The food was delicious and overall a great place to stay after a round of golf! I would reccommend staying here when playing golf or just if you look for some time to relax!

Everything is very well run by Manager Nicholas, supported by a very capable team. Special mention for the hotel/golf receptionist Anna, who was just the most helpful and pleasant person, nothing too much trouble

The Crete golf Hotel is small, just 25 rooms I think, but it more than adequately compliments the on-site golf course. Food and drink was fine, rooms are very spacious and well appointed

We had a sea view and I would recommend paying the extra for that as we had a little balcony and it was so lovely to sit out there in the morning sunshine to watch the world go by

Took such great care of me and even upgraded me to full sea view. Super comfy beds, great Bfast, close to everything you want here in town. Cannot recommend enough!

Even the toaster prepared the best golden toast on the first pass through! There was a choice of seating either inside or outside by the pool. 30am with hot food or until 10

first impression ok but so many things missing. Bedroom very small with limited storage in room,why not have bedside drawer units. Shelves or drawers in bathroom and some clothing hooks

Rooms ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ - we had a sea view room and I’m so glad we did. Nothing compares to getting that view and it made our holiday so much more enjoyable

Good food, friendly service and a quiet hotel. Very close to the sea. There are plenty of souvenir shops and markets nearby. 😊

Stayed in room 429 on the street front, had no issues sleeping or with the noise. All of the staff are attentive, friendly and cant’t do enough for you. The food is hot and Cooked traditional Greek style

The hotel is in a fantastic location, just steps from the beach. The pool is small but ideal for chilling out. No need to set an alarm to reserve sunbeds! Everyone just came and went as they pleased

We arrived late at night (around midnight) and, even though we’d missed dinner, they kindly prepared a fresh salad plate for us — such a thoughtful touch that set the tone for the whole stay

There are several beaches within walking distance. You do need to pay for sunbeds and umbrellas at those, but the prices were very reasonable. We stayed on a half-board basis

Yes you had to buy water with dinner but I had read about that already here in the other reviews so we were fine with that. The staff speak a few languages and are very friendly – they will help you any way they can

Just returned today from a very relaxing break at the Marie Kristin Beach Hotel. It was perfect for the three of us — myself, my husband, and our 15-year-old daughter

The atmosphere was incredibly relaxed and the staff couldn’t have been more welcoming or friendly. in fact, every Greek person we made was incredibly friendly

We got upgraded on arrival to a front sea view, then we were moved again to an even lovelier room with a cool and peaceful patio garden, which was even nicer

it was in August 2017 - excellent location, sea is not the word close under the Windows, to the centre and the local promenade two minutes, but on the other hand the night under the Windows do not walk, you can sleep with open balcony

I have stayed in herssonisos many times, in a variety of different hotels, and much preferred this hotel to the five star resort I stayed in on my last visit. Would definitely stay here again

Lovely friendly family run hotel, nice food, meticulous house-keeping and a crazy barman. The staff were really helpful and welcoming and it is right on the beach :-)

Otherwise, the rooms are always very clean. The location is ideal, the walk to the shopping street is very short, and the beach is just behind it. You can reach everything on foot, but we didn't experience any noise

The room was nice and had a balcony. It's also worth mentioning that the hotel also has a small pool. I paid around 100 euros for 3 nights (breakfast and dinner included), and the price is truly unbeatable

The beach promenade with several bars is not far from the hotel (a 5-10-minute walk), and kiosks and a bus station (used by both tour operators and public transport on Crete) are just a 3-minute walk away

The manager also lends a hand, whether at dinner or at reception late in the evening. All the staff are very polite and take good care of the hotel guests. I was even spoken to in German once or twice

The villa itself was gorgeous with three bedrooms and three bathrooms. We are a family of 5 and everyone had room to spread out and space to themselves. The grounds of the hotel are beautifully manicured and clean

We travel a lot and this was by far the best customer service experience we've ever had. Eleni and the whole team is just amazing! Absolutely recommend and will stay here again if we ever return to Crete

A few days prior to our visit, they emailed to ask if we would like food from their restaurant delivered to our room prior to our arrival. It was such a warm and caring touch that did not go unnoticed

Elena and Pol gave us great recommendations on where to eat and things to do. If you are going to be in Crete, I would highly recommend Paradise Island Villas. You will not be disappointed!

In the evening after a day of exploring the island the jacuzzi under the stars couldn't have had make us more happier!:) Veronique, who knows the island very well, was also super friendly and helpful, and we got many tips from her

The suites are lovely and spacious, but what makes this place special and outstanding is the staff. Everyone was sooooo welcoming and helpful. Veronique did everything possible to accommodate all our wishes

The quality of the finishings throughout the apartment and the pool area are first class. The breakfast was plentiful and of good quality. We particularly enjoyed the sunsets from our balcony / the pool

Although we also went to the shared pool and the spa pool, the place has privacy and a beautiful view and there were days we did not keft the resort but very much enjoyed just staying there

We had very relaxing 3 days in Orina suites. We booked the Felicity suite and it was everything we wanted and very clean. The detailed interior makes you feel luxurious, but also like home

Breakfast and lunch had a lot of choice, but there is also poolside options as well which makes it flexible. Personally we didn’t have dinner at the hotel as there are better options at nearby Analipsi and Heronissos

Pool was lovely, and the animation team give a really good vibe with lots to do in the daytime. The sunset over the water is incredible and the hotel pool bar has a great view

During the day, there is a tavern near the pool, where you can always refresh yourself:) Wines of excellent quality! The animation team is just a whirlwind of endless energy!! Daytime activities around the pool, yoga, darts and all sorts of fun competitions for teenagers

In my opinion one of the best places in the area. Serving sizes are large, the food is really tasty, and not just to fill the stomach. The pizza is quite large, the schnitzel is simply amazing

Fantastic location too, the only fault is the gym equipment (lat pull down machine) is faulty and cannot be used at all. All in all completely worth the money and I wouldn’t hesitate to visit again

Emanuels at Koualoufari does an amazing lamb dosh!!! To get to the harbour either take the road side left of the hotel or the beach way, where you cross the road walk towards the beach and turn left onto veranda restaurant and keep walking straight ahead you will pass dozens of shops bars and restaurants

The hotel its self is lovely, decorated with a vintage grecian scheme and the beautiful smell of Jasmin hits you as you walk into the reception where you are greeted with the warmest of welcomes by the wonderful staff who see to your every need

Rooms are clean and the aircon is wonderful especially this time of year. The towels and linen are changed daily apart from Sundays. The breakfast is varied and fresh. The pool area has a tranquil and peaceful atmosphere

This is a 3rd time in Hersonissos and 1st time at Thalia. We have just returned from a weeks stay at Thalia. The hotel is in a great location just a short walk to the beach and plenty of shops, bars and restaurants

Be sure to visit the charming villages of Koualoufari, Piskopoano and Herssonissos Old town, which are short cab ride €10-£13 or a bus journey away you can also get the beach train which stops in the harbour

I would highly recommend Thalia. The coach will drop you a few feet away from the hotel its just after the Spa supermarket

Where to start? On arrival which was 1am. We were greeted with a very friendly smile. Shown to our room which was bigger than expected and very clean. We also got given some food in the bar which was a lovly touch

Mostly are family and has come from the Grandparents who still come every day to help and maintain the gardens. The food was good, not a huge range but all very trantional dishs that were delicious

For those who love other beautiful beaches you need a car and the island is very large to reach a beautiful beach from where the resort is located it can take almost 4 hours

The hotel is a family business, so right away you feel welcome and the owners are very hospitable. We asked for a room with sea view and that is what we got, second floor (top), not large, but enough

The advantage is the proximity to the sea, the disadvantage of evening entertainment noise in the surrounding area. Windows quietly dampen the noise. But sleeping with an open window is impossible

Regarding hotel itself: + clean rooms, upon check-in at hotel - no sockets near the beds +- breakfast: nothing special but enough to not be hungry until lunch ++ few product markets near hotel ( free parking behind one of them) -+ WiFi sometimes become very slow - no good beaches near the hotel as for me

Got broken AC and air fan instead. Administrator promised to call for technical or to change room, but guess what, nothing was done

So beautiful roof bar where we had delicious breakfast in the morning and cocktails in the evening with endless sea view. Highly recommended this hotel for long and short vacation

The central location means 24/7 noise from the club next door. during the day until the evening, and especially at full volume all night. Sleep is only possible with earplugs

We recently stayed at Creta Blue for the week. This hotel is beautiful and set high up with a lovely view. The room was immaculate and well equipped. The breakfast was lovely and the staff were friendly and helpful

The sunbeds were so comfortable and the pool was great. The village of Koutouloufari had great options of restaurants and bars. We definitely plan on coming back!

George (owner), has improved the look of the hotel into a more 'boutique' style which both my wife and I thought more appropriate. It's a very chilled location, elevated above hersonnisis with views over the bay

We had searched extensively for a hotel with a heated pool, and not only did Creta Blue deliver on that, but our suite also came with a private jacuzzi on the balcony

Our room was spacious, tastefully decorated, and the private jacuzzi made it absolutely perfect for a relaxing holiday in April. The pool area is lovely and very well maintained, offering a great spot to unwind
