Even though the hotel is a bit old but the people over there are the best. From the first step out of the taxi we found the hotel guy there to take our luggage inside without asking for any help. They were always around to help and ask if we need anything. Every morning there was a man next to the hotel main door asking “how are you today?” with big smile on the face. Small acts like that would make me choose to go there again and again.

Great location with shops and restaurants all around. The rooms are fine and reasonably spacious. However, the menu at the restaurant could be more varied to include more choices. It was also challenging for some of my colleagues, after receiving reassurance for early check-in, to have to argue to get their rooms.

A fantastic hotel with excellent value and a great location (close to almost everything). The rooms are clean and the staff prioritizes residents' comfort. I give my warmest regards to the entire hotel staff.

This is my favorite hotel in Istanbul. Perfect rooms, service, rooms, close to the best sightseeing ans 50 meters from the bus to IST Airport. What more can you ask for?

Nice location and nice stuff but it’s not like it used to be, need to take care of the cleanliness a lot more, quite noisy to be honest, if the stuff were cleaning the next room you want be able to sleep, I asked for a separate beds not sure why they put me in a very small room with one bed even though the hotel was almost empty

i stayed in this hotel for 3 nights, nothing to mention other than the nice location.
very close to Taksim Square and to all the transportations like taxi metro and tram.
the food is normal nothing special.
staff is friendly.
rooms are very small and close to each other, we were able to listen the neighbors talking on the phone clearly, it's like no privacy. despite that the room view is on the main street so you can just imagine the fog all day and night, it's impossible to open the windows. but I understand it's the city.

This hotel is a fraud. I had booked a room via Agoda for the 1st May 2024. Being Labors day , Istanbul faced political unrest and had the area around the hotel locked down for the whole day. Me along with my wife and 2 yr old kid tried all our ways possible to reach the hotel even contacting the police on their emergency contact number but was informed that we cannot get into taksim as the area is under lock down. We even contacted the hotel and there was nothing they could do. I spoke the reservations agent requesting free cancellation / refund as we had no ways to reach the hotel who responded saying that we had to contact Agoda.
Obviously we contacted Agoda who tried to help us but was informed that hotel has rejected our request for refund.
Nippon Hotel - If the government has put a lock down in your area how are we supposed to reach the hotel ? Shouldn't you be refunding the clients money.

Apart from location there's nothing worth to mention about this place. Everything is mediocre. If you want a budget place this one is good. Ambiance, room size food all mediocre. The rooms were hot with no air conditioning. We were offer fans if required. Never had this experience before.

When i entered the room, there was a very disgusting smell, turns out there was a dead rat under the bed. We asked to change our room, however they said we would have to pay for it. The price for the rooms were very expensive, it is a extremely bad view for Turkish people since they are beloved people, but not in this hotel. The location is in the middle of robbery in istanbul, i almost had my wallet robbed while my baby cousin was with me.
