If you are a NON-SMOKER you will find it a so annoying experience as all the rooms (even the ones supposed to be a non-smoking rooms) are sometime allowed by receptionist to be smoked in. Ending up having the strong and stubborn smoking odor and smell every where with you in the room during your stay (from curtains, carpet, sofa, chair, solid surfaces and A/C). It even comes out with the air circulated in A/C system. So unpleasant stay for a non-smoker guests. It seems the hotel is a smoking oriented hotel. Else, the service was at top, the staff were so professional & cooperative and the facilities are outstanding. Some noise (manageable) comes from the main street if your room faces the street. Blackout curtains were good and blocking the sunlight efficiently.
I hope they work seriously to find a solution for the above issue for a more enjoyable stay for all guests.

Our family had a wonderful experience at this hotel. We appreciated the excellent service, enjoyed the pool, and were impressed by the breakfast buffet. The staff was friendly and welcoming, and we would like to extend a special thanks to Hulya for her outstanding customer service, Burak olgundan, and Aisha the house keeping.

My family and I stayed 7 days at the Divan hotel. The location is great, the food is tasty and elegant, the service is quick and perfect. Especially, the staffs are excellent, they are very polite, respectful and smiling.
The only they need to change the filters of their air conditions time to time in rooms. Because when it is not changed, it smells like a dust and if a person who has bronchitis or asthma might be impacted negatively. I hope that they can take care of that issue.
Overall everything was great while our stay.

UPDATE: When we told the issue to the staff about the filter of the air condition in our room, they checked and changed it right away and we were very impressed that how quickly they took an action.
We will definitely revisit Divan Hotel in the future…

The hotel overall was pretty good. We stayed in room 201-202 for week. The service and staff were really friendly and quick. Our favorite staff member was called Arzu Duran. A lady who worked at the breakfast buffet serving food. She is a wonderful waitress who serves food very quickly and works very hard to keep customers happy. Our family were very impressed by her ability to be so quick when serving customers. She is an asset to the hotel and management should use her as an example in their work ethics training!

This was my first experience in a hotel of this class. They allowed for an early check-in, gave us a better room (without us requesting it), and allowed us to stay in the same room when we needed to extend our stay beyond what was booked by our group. (I was asked multiple times why I hadn’t checked out yet, even though we had extended our stay & got our “new” room keys which was frustrating, but understandable.)
The staff is commendable. Front desk & housekeeping (5 stars to Ibrahim!) were amazing especially when I needed urgent assistance.

Excellent hotel. We have stayed there several times. Clean rooms, good service. The only issue is that the majority of the staff does not speak english (very little or at all) which creates miscommunication and problems as a result! Otherwise all fine.
If you stay there, definitely choose a room looking in direction of Bosphorus, otherwise you will be facing an old rotting construction site.

This was an absolute amazing experience. Everyone was wonderful! Especially Shafa she was so amazing and very accommodating with everything from top to bottom. My friends luggage got lost and without her knowledge and help, I’m not sure we would have gotten it back. The hotel an all the employees are just the best in the world!!

The hotel is really amazing and family oriented. I stayed with the family and they really enjoyed it. Our reservation was including breakfast. The hotel restaurant is great and they serve really good food. The service is amazing especially Arzy and Merve are really helpful and provide great service for everyone. They both make the place different
