Medplaya Hotel Regente

I wanted to share my positive experience from my recent second visit.

I found it to be a great hotel with a friendly staff and an excellent selection of food. Additionally, the daytime entertainer significantly enhanced our stay with his humor. He consistently went above and beyond to make us laugh, especially with our running joke about his jingling keys.

I'm looking forward to booking another stay in August.

Good hotel with lovely staff, only let down was the standard of food. The quality of the food wasn't that of a 4 star hotel. Breakfast had a good selection but bacon was cold, overall lunch and evening meals disappointed. We were all inclusive, used the onsite burger shack for fresh burgers for lunch. But went to the nearby China Garden for two evening meals, excellent. Hotel is in a great location, yes the bus doesn't drop off at the door but it's just around the corner. Rooms, compact but very clean and comfortable, sky sports on TV, safe for 4 euro a night, shower room good size with complimentary dove products, always cleaned to a high standard. Tea and coffee replenished for 3.5euro per day, thought that would be included in all inclusive !! Bar staff Pedro and Marco excellent, had great banter with them, Entertainment team hard working, some parents should realise Entertainment team are not babysitters, Entertainment was very good overall. Lifeguard interacts with kids helping with their swimming, always polite and helpful. Two pools. Overall we had a great holiday, others may enjoy the food but wasn't for us but in the hotels defence, plenty of choice. Final tip, go upstairs to the bar for a much better coffee than the machine in the restaurant. Yes, would use the hotel again just not All Inclusive.

Fabulous hotel. Food lovely. Staff great. Third time here and won’t be the last. Not a big place but easy access to everywhere. Really enjoyed a girls week and staff treat you as friends. Food was something for everyone. Rooms cleaned everyday , very clean hotel. Was sad to leave.

Enjoyable stay at Hotel Regenta and would have no problem booking here again. Food was of a good standard with breakfast and evening meals providing plenty of choices and replenished often by staff. Rooms modern and spotless with english channels on the flat screen tv and a very comfortable bed. Loved the bathroom with its large walk in rainforest shower, plenty of towels,bitet and Dove toiletries. Entertainment was surprisinly good at times and not so good sometimes so went out when it was the latter. There are plenty of parking places and recharging points for mobility scooters at front of hotel at a cost of 2euros per day, access through security gates with keypad code.You can also use security gate at back of pool area again with keypad rather than walk up the hill to front of hotel. We stayed on half board basis but you have the option to upgrade to all inclusive package with premium drinks.

Me and my husband enjoyed staying in this friendly hotel. Beds were great, slept really good! We were half board for 25 nights and there was a good choice at breakfast (porridge was lovely) and dinner was good too. We must compliment the staf in the restaurant they all work hard and especially mention Juan, the restaurant manager who run around doing everything but remained friendly. The cleaning staff were nice also. Would highly recommend this hotel

Stayed at the Regente previously and reason we booked again at the end of January 2025. Spotless hotel and good sized room. Comfortable beds but not a double just 2 singles pushed together. Pool area good and plenty of sun beds. The food was excellent when we stayed last March but this stay the food was very low standard with little choice. The salad was limited as was the fresh fruit. It felt like the hotel food budget was running low as on the last day of our stay the food appeared to have improved. We and others struggled to find something to eat on some days and for that reason we wont be returning to this hotel. There are plenty of 4 star hotels in Benidorm where the food is far superior. Shame as we had told friends to stay at the Regente and we have now told them the standard has dropped, more a 3 or 2 star hotel food wise.

I liked hotel allinclusive was good .no snacks as it's out of season breakfast very good evening meal hit and miss but always something to eat reception staff very friendly and all other staff were fine.defo would come back.decent location

What a fabulous place to stay in Benidorm!! We have enjoyed our first week here and are looking forward to our second. So very clean and comfortable with warm and welcoming staff who work so very hard to ensure you have a fantastic holiday.
The food is delicious especially the dinner option. This lovely little hotel could knock spots off other places that claim to be more prestigious!! Well done all at the Regente Benidorm and thank you for providing such a lovely safe and comfortable place for us to stay.

It definitely felt more like a 3 star plus hotel I think.
About 7 or 8 minutes walk to new town strip.
Pool is nice,rooms are nice,spotless, though our double bed was just 2 singles pushed together.
Staff are nice and courteous,the food is always buffet and a little repetitive,also some snacks and ice creams cost money even if your all inclusive.
