There is pool for kids and a nice clean pool for adults

The pool and the rooms were clean, the staff were lovely, and the hotel itself is gorgeous. The air conditioning in the room is super efficient and the staff really do go out of their way for you

501) with access from the terrace directly to the lawn, close to the smaller pool, mega close to the beach. Everyone is polite and very helpful. My wife and daughters are delighted

The Aquila Rithymna Beach is rated as a 5 star hotel possibly because of the proximity to the beach, waterpark and children's facilities, it's an ideal family hotel, however in my opinion it isn't suitable for couples or single people

I said it to the lady at the reception: the staff is so kind and friendly. If they recognize your face after a few days, they greet you with full enthusiasm. The rooms aren’t super big, but enough

I loved the balcony and the bathroom. Only bummer is that when you shower, the whole bathroom floor is wet because there isn’t a curtain or system to close the shower. We also had a lot of ants in the room

We stayed at this hotel for seven days and had an amazing time. A lot of the included restaurants have amazing food, breakfast is really great in choice

The only thing I would slightly improve is the hair dryer in the bathroom – it heats up quickly and doesn’t work that well, but it’s just a small detail compared to how great everything else was

The food was delicious, with lots of variety and rich local flavors – special greetings to Chef Fotis for the incredible meals. Everyone working here makes the experience even more enjoyable

I am happy and grateful for Dimitris and Dimitra for making me an exception for the coctail without alcohol. The other personnel shift could not make the drink without one ingridient

The rooms are well equiped and perfect for a holiday. The evenings at the hotels outdoor bar were unforgettable

The hosts are really nice, friendly and made a good Service. Air condition costs extra but it is ok if you need it. Location near by the sea and also a Pool and a nice taverne at the hotel

Got lucky and got a room with a ocean view from the balcony which was very nice. Good service, very nice pool area, also for kids. Wifi was unstable and had a poor connectivity to our room

What can I say Wow what a great holiday my husband and I had , from the management to the chambermaids we were made so welcome nothing was too much for the staff specially John and Maria , we will be coming back 100% Miss Lou and Keith

Really good food in the evening. Every wednesday really good live music with a choice of fresh fish or steak (you also can choose from the menue if you like). Breakfast ok but room to improvement

Near by many tavernes and shopping locations. We dont need more than we had and had a really nice vacation at this hotel :) big thank you to everybody that make it a great vacation for us

The sea beach is rocky, so you need sea shoes, and the waves were big, so it was not allowed to go into the water, but they got an own pool, where the kids can play. The daily room cleaning is really professional

I wish the hotel management will take care and keep the hotel as nice as it is today. Simple design, but with some art decorations. Nice pool area and reasonable sea entrance. Close to restaurant, shops or car rentals

The hotel is nice, new renovated and lies beside the sea, where the view is amazing. You can see the sunrise and the sunset from your balcony. The breakfast is good, the bar is fairly priced

Across the street there are several small shops, where you can buy anything what you need and also a taverna, where the dishes are really tasty and fairly priced

Amazing place! Quite small compared to other places, what makes this place unique. You feel like a family member. Hotel is just about 2 years old

Nice place it has 5 pools, good food but bad wifi connection. In the evening it is quite impossible to have internet connection. There is pool bar all day and in the evening also. Every evening there is a show

I was there on family holidays with our 3 years old son. We enjoyed nice and clean room(cleaned every day) with aircondition, clean and warm swimming pools, tasty food and friendly staff

And I really don't understand at all why the hotel has changed ( supposedly since this season 2021) the setting, that one of the hotel's four pools was "adult only". And they did not updated this fact on their website

Easy to get to Rethymno with the bus, tickets you can buy in every (as they call :))) Super market. Car rent across the street/good price. Food is OK, if you are not expecting much

It`s a very nice and clean place to stay, very good for stay with kids. Hotel is located near to the sea, it`s not far from the old town of Rethymno

Wonderful place for a holiday. the hotel is right next to the beach, sea view, quiet place ... In one word, fabulous!

Based on the number of rooms they need to add more. It's my first day here, but if you're bored with the sea and pool, you can rent a car and drive around the island

The meals were delicious, but the time was horrible. Also in the luggage store room you need to pay 2 euro for lockers every time you want to open it

We have little bit trouble with the air conditioning. The staff was perfect, mainly men in the bar. They were very nice and did great drinks

There are plenty of good rooms and very good service. The beach is with rocks so you need to have swimming shoes. The pool is moderate, but very good. Not so many chairs for lying down near the swimming pool

I really recommended this hotel for people who want to experienced romantic atmosphere, great food and nice place

There is no air conditioning in the room ( it is on the wall, but doesnt work) it is impossible to sleep at night. I talked to the reception several times, despite my requests, they didn't do anything about it

The water in the swimming pool is crystal clear and not very cold. I absolutely recommend the place

Just come back from this hotel. Clean towels everyday except Sunday. We had a room overlooking Road but had sea view. Food was so tasty not cordon blue but nice salads and plenty of meat and fish

Beach is not as good as expected, yes above waterline sand, but in water stony, rocky and partly bedrock

Everything was good the food,drinks,pool,bar the bus stop was in front of the hotel so we got easily to Rethymno. The staff was really kind and helpful

Best thing was the pool and the pool bar so pretty and clean. Plenty of sun beds and shaded area if needed. Staff were amazing so helpful. All in all a good very Greek all inclusive hotel

We shall keep in touch with our friends there (George, Andreana, etc), and if they remain working at the hotel under the new owners, we shall probably be back there next September (prototheos,DV)

Our room was basic but clean, the showers were quite cold but with the hot weather this wasn't much of an issue! The pool was a bit green and murky, we did swim but maybe not as often as we would have liked as it could have been cleaner

The staff is extremely friendly and helpful while the food also impressed us positively. Something that was also important and worth mentioning is the attention they pay to safety and hygiene due to covid19

A few weeks ago my family and I stayed at solimar emerald. We chose it because of its proximity to the beautiful city of Rethymnon while the sea is directly opposite the hotel

The place is very good, quiet, for familly with children - amazing place. The staff always smiling, polite and friendly. One thing - the could be more fruit variety

We were impressed by the calm that prevails throughout the day. The rooms are very large and I consider it to be one of the cleanest hotels we have ever been to

Very kindfull staff, everybody was so helpfull and the team at the reception gave us a very good feeling!
