Plenty of beers and cocktails at the bar served by Ella and a great time was had by all. Nice quiet location off the main road. George also provided a delicious chocolate cake for our grandsons birthday

Just had a week at this hotel with all the family. The staff were lovely, George, Ella and Mrs Joanna. They could not have done more to help in the circumstances

Beautiful hotel flowers everywhere, quiet location three minute amble to the beach owners so friendly and welcoming , excellent.

The room had balcony and the hotel room itself was really clean. We had air conditioner also at the room. Receptionist named Katerina!? (Not sure if the name is writen right) was really nice and friendly

Great location but it's noisy due to trafficking, very hospitality staff. Only objection is there is no list of "useful things"in the room and you must ask for every info

The hotel has a really nice location. The quality of the hotel is quite average. We stayed there for 7 nights and breakfast was every day with the same selection of food

We always returned to the hotel bar at the end of an evening for a good chat. Accommodation spot on for our needs and great wee pool. Great area in general, Bus goes to another bigger town, right outside the hotel

Pool area was good and always a sunbed available. Disappointed with what we paid for a "budget" Easyjet holiday. School holiday prices are never cheap

2nd visit and its just the most lovely place, the staff treat you like family the atmosphere so laid back, rooms have all you need, pool and bar area are great, location is spot on, we will return soon 😀

My Sister and I stayed for 3 weeks. The accommodation is basic, (what we expect in Greece) clean and comfortable. Rooms cleaned, sheets and towels changed, every other day

It provides all you need, in a great location, only 5 minutes from some great Tavernas and 10 minutes from the beach. Great value for money, booked through EasyJet. All the staff are friendly and helpful

Beds are comfy and rooms are well kept. The air con is super cold! Which was amazing when temperatures hit 37° some days, well worth the extra money! Breakfast is lovely! Great variety

Amazing hotel, great service! Clean room, very presice cleaning lady and nice owners. Pool area was relaxing, water 130cm deep. Little bar area by the pool with some snacks and drinks, open from 7:30 AM to 7:30 PM

There was airconditioning in the room with extra charge. Coffee maker and electric kettle, two burners. Plates, cups, knifes, forks, spoons (3pcs) included, also pot and frying pan

Reception was open till midnight, and you had to leave your room key there everytime you left

The laundry detergent / dishwasher could have been ready in the closet. The hotel didn't have breakfast, but it didn't bother us at least

The most fun way to go to downtown Rethymnon was definitely a lime electric scooter

So weren't sure what would have happened if we would have stayd out later? We didn't so it was ok for us! The room price didn't include the taxes and you had to buy your own washing up liquids for the dishes

Close to the beach, great pool. Lovely bar and fantastic service. Nice breakfast every morning. Literal 2 minute walk to the beach great restaurants literally next door/across the road Highly recommended.

We stayed in this hotel for 10 days. The hotel very friendly to families with children. Rooms very clean, cleaned daily every day. Change of towels with new ones every day. Very friendly, polite and helpful staff

Super clean. Bit old but amazing staff and great pool compensate for that. Very good value for money.

After checkout I was able to use the pool area and there was a complimentary change area to use before we went to the airport

Staning beakfast everyday! Everyone can find something for themself! Of course a lot of Greek food but also French, English, Deuch thing what was so perfect so everyone! The lady who's works at the breakfast was so nice and welcome you with a smile on their faces! I also love that the owner of the hotel ( we eat ours breakfast at 8 ) was sitting with us and also smilling all the time and then she said...

Whilst it’s definitely the people who make the place so fantastic, the rooms were bright and clean with everything you could want for a self-catered holiday. Breakfast included was also a very welcome addition!

A little too far from old town, we did walk in a couple of times but got a taxi most times!

Its only few steps away from the beach and the hotel have a pool as well if you feel like staying in the hotel. We absolutely loved it and would definitely recommend it

In your room you have a kitchen and can make your own food if you don't want to eat out. There is an air conditioner, so you have a good sleep at night. The staff is friendly and helpful

The hotel lies in two min walk from the beach and the sea street with a lot of cafes, restaurants, shops and the drug store. I definitely recommend Melitti hotel for your vacation

The room was exactly the same as in pictures. Quite during the night with short distance to nice restaurants/bars and supermarkets to accomodate your daily needs

The rooms are really big and the staff is always here to help you if needed. We stayed 2 weeks in the hotel and enjoyed the pool and the bar. The location is perfect, not so far from the town but always quiet

There is a Lidl across the road but you aren't aware of it when you're in the lovely garden and pool area surrounded by bougainvillea and roses. It is an oasis we love to return to

We have been back 4 times because it's a very, lovely place indeed, Manolis and Nikki are lovely and look after all your needs . It's quiet but only 5 minutes walk from tavernas and your usual holiday shops .

Had a great time at the Evelin Hotel in Platanes. Was given a warm welcome and the breakfast was the best of many I have ever seen. All the staff were very friendly and helpful especially Michelis at the bar.

Back here after 3 years and it's still as wonderful. Manolis and Niki are superb hosts. The rooms are light, modern and airy. Great aircon and comfortable beds, lovely breakfast

Lots of bars and tavernas within a 5 to 10 minute walk but Evelin has a well stocked and reasonably priced bar and does daytime snacks up till 3pm

We spent a week with my family during July there. The location of the apartments is very close at the sea/pool and very close at the center where you can find several places for drinks, dinner, market etc

The rooms were very clean, quiet and spacious. The host, Nektarios, was very friendly and helpful and gave us the best advices for exploring the nearby area and recommended amazing restaurants close by

There is also a bus line very close, every 20 minutes towards rethimno

We stayed at superior studio annex (renovated) ,it is a little bit noisy because it s near the main street. The owner was friendly and helped us with any problems we encountered

As a suggestion, an insect net in the bathroom would be necessary

Plenty of sunbeds and parasols which were free to use and lots of beach towels available all day. This was a great bonus as many places charge for sunbeds etc

Nice room with large balcony and sea view. The best thing about this charming hotel is the staff!! Joanna and Eva take great care of the customer! Available and smiling! We are like family but it is not intrusive

Such a beautiful hotel we had a fantastic week there. All the staff were fabulous,nothing too much trouble. Eva the manager was fabulous,so friendly and helpful. The buffet breakfast is lovely and plentiful

This is a little beauty of a hotel. The road outside is a bit of a challenge for pedestrians as it is a major easy west link for Rethymnon but once inside you are in a very nice place

There are toilets and a shower available at the hotel when you are on the beach or terrace, which saves you having to go back to your room. Rethymno old town about 25 mins walk

Hugue authentic place. Great history of the building. Helpful host. For someone the noise of near bars may be the case. If the aim is get more familiar with Cretan history you should definitely stay in this place

Quiet, clean, very cute place with huge terrace and flowers. I love it and definitely will come again. The house has everything you need. It's very close to grocery store and restaurants. :)

Lovely rooms right in the heart of Rethymno. A few yards off a main shopping street and 10 minutes walk from the old town.

Our room was basic but clean, the showers were quite cold but with the hot weather this wasn't much of an issue! The pool was a bit green and murky, we did swim but maybe not as often as we would have liked as it could have been cleaner

The staff is extremely friendly and helpful while the food also impressed us positively. Something that was also important and worth mentioning is the attention they pay to safety and hygiene due to covid19

A few weeks ago my family and I stayed at solimar emerald. We chose it because of its proximity to the beautiful city of Rethymnon while the sea is directly opposite the hotel

The place is very good, quiet, for familly with children - amazing place. The staff always smiling, polite and friendly. One thing - the could be more fruit variety

We were impressed by the calm that prevails throughout the day. The rooms are very large and I consider it to be one of the cleanest hotels we have ever been to

I don’t often leave reviews, but felt I really must share how wonderful this accommodation is

Every room has a balcony for chilling and smokers. Swimming pool is in the middle of the complex, small but quaint, never has more than few people around it, especially because the beach is less than 50m from the hotel

Exceptional service and quality of rooms. Due to cov19 measures, you get lunch packets instead of breakfast, they are plentiful and quite good. Very friendly staff, keep the rooms clean every day

If you are feeling careful, you can always get a safe key for belongings for 2 euros per day, we usually never get a safe, but our organisation insists on using them, at least AC is free which is very refreshing in Greece

Two girls and one guy from the reception are very helpful and nice. I would definitely recommend this hotel, especially if you rent a car or don't mind paying for taxi to go to the center

Excellent hotel, a bit far from the center (old town), but the staff is very polite, rooms are clean and everything is new. It has absolutely all you need plus very very nice service

Hotel does not have its own beach. People are very, very nice and kind. My recommendation for this place. They only have a breakfast but there is a lot restaurants around hotel

This is a very good choice for adults🥰 The rooms are big and bright, the breakfast is super fresh and truly amazing, with good variety of warm food, fruits from the owners own garden, and homemade cakes and jams every day! You eat breakfast outside in the common area next to the pool

Fantastic hotel in the old town, near the western side of the peninsula so fantastic sunsets from our balcony. Owner/manager, Antonio, was helpful answering questions and referrals to good restaurants and trips.

The owners and staff is simply adorable and so helpful! The rooms come with a safe and a mini kitchen with a fridge and AC, overall very happy and would recommend it for anyone who wants to live in the old town

Situated just at the edge of the old town this beautiful Venetian residence is perfectly located. The staff are excellent and always available and very helpful. This hotel is a credit to the owners 10/10 👍

We spent a wonderful week at this hotel. Service was immaculate, staff so friendly and helpful. The best place to visit Rethymno. On the edge of the old town, everything within walking distance

The only tweak that would have added to our stay for those lazy pool days would have been access to drinks and snacks on site. The shops are just a little walk but a pool bar would have been even better

The family run Hotel Pinelopi was immaculately clean and the pool area well kept and gorgeous. Location was brilliant: no noise at all but very close to town, beach and buses to get around

The apartments are quite basic but spotlessly clean, and quite roomy. The owner, Maria, and the staff are so friendly and accommodating. The pool is amazing and again, spotlessly clean

When you go out of the apartments, turn left and you are two minutes walk from the beach, turn right and you are two minutes walk to get to the supermarket, bars, restaurants, shops, taxi rank, car hire, bus stop, cash points etc

Perfect location for beach and restaurants. Pinelopi was very helpful and spoke excellent English. We loved our room with the 2 balconies, which kept the room cool at night. It was a very relaxing place to stay.

I stayed in these apartments for two weeks at the beginning of June this year. I had never stayed here before but, as a regular visitor to Platanes, I had seen them in passing and thought they looked lovely

Great hotel, lovely room with nice bathroom, lovely courtyard with a pool which is often protected from the sun for a drink, a rooftop with chairs for sunbathing, a kitchen well stocked and lovely staff

It has a parking nearby so it's also not an issue if you come with a car and plan to do some road trips. Hotel itself is clean, rooms are well fitted and nothing stands in a way for you to have a perfect vacation

Made very welcome by Manos and family. Room was comfortable but very hot. Air conditioning in room at extra charge but he forgot to offer and we forgot to ask. We only booked for two nights to fit around another booking
