Rooms are good but could use some better equipment and such. The service however is absolutely great! The staff were really friendly and we were able to communicate in English easily as well as with some broken Italian. The location is also amazing because of the lots of nearby bus stops that can take you all around Rome in just minutes and the underground station being just 3 minutes away in foot. In general it's really great, 5/5

The location of this hotel is amazing! I was able to check in slightly early and had no issues during my stay here. My AC worked well and my room was perfect for a solo traveler. The breakfast is also good.

Low- tier hotel, definitely not a 4-star hotel, the smoke alarm went randomly on and off during the day, it's loud AF, couldn't sleep and work... HORRIBLE, the lift is EXTREMELY slow, breakfast wasn't good also, poor quality. Dear hotel, please fix your things and then let in the guests... Definitely not worth the price that they want you to pay.. I'm not overreacting, this is an absolutely honest review. Please don't book this hotel guys. Have a nice day

The room was on the nicer side, but the AC did not work well and the room periodically shakes because of the subway. Not enough to wake someone up but definitely noticeable. Wifi did not work at all during stay. The location however is perfect for getting too most of the tourist areas

Great hotel in an excellent location near Rome's most important sites! All the places in Rome's center are located in a walking distance from this hotel so we didn't need to use public transport during our stay. To the Termini station from the hotel is also only 15 minutes by walking.
Rooms are in good condition, AC is included and it works. Only the bathrooms are slighty outdated and could use a renovation. Hotel breakfast is good and the hotel staff is friendly and helpful!
Exe is a perfect hotel to those travelers who are looking for a hotel in Rome which is in a walking distance from the central tourist sites and want their hotel to provide the basic necessities for enjoyable stay (AC, breakfast, comfortable beds) in Rome!

We finished our stay, and for sure when we return to Rome, we will stay at Exe. Excellent location, very close to Rome Termini, easy to get to the airport, take a train to another city or rent a car nearby. At the same time, also very close to all the main tourist attractions. I had read that the Términi region was dangerous, however Exe is on a busy street, full of shops and good restaurants, there is no risk. The rooms are comfortable, wonderful bed, breakfast with many options, sure to please different tastes. Kind reception, we communicated in English and Spanish easily. It was an excellent stay

Unfortunately there are no slippers or bathrobe, the AC only works on cold, the bed is not very comfortable, cold in the room due to the stone, the bathroom should be renovated. You can feel the subway when it passes, it practically feels like an earthquake.Wi-fi didn't work at all. The promised bottle of water was completely missing daily, although I asked at the reception every day. Real is a 3-star hotel, at a price too high for what it offers, 220 euros per night.
The good part is the positioning close to most of the tourist sights, the street safe even for a single woman in a foreign city.

This place already lost my business. We came from a long flight to find a room without AC. They charge for the room upfront. When we ask for the AC to be fix they said they don’t have a technician for two weeks. If they don’t have AC why can they just tell their guess at the door instead of forcing them to stay because there is a no refund policy. Stay away from them or don’t pay until you check your room.

Location is great and breakfast was wonderful. However I will not stay at this hotel or recommend to anyone for simply one reason which is extremely bad Wi-Fi network in the rooms. The connectivity is so bad that I had to go elsewhere even to complete my airline flight check-in online. They are using several years old wifi routers that can't offer even 1 Mbps of reliable connection. So it can't even be fixed unless they replace the routers. You can't make any audio/video calls and even simple browsing to book tours is not happening. They call themselves 4-star hotel which is perhaps a stretch. Its not even 3 star in terms of facilities and service.

Location is great but needs renovation. Leaks in the floors and ceilings cause a bad smell at times. Friendly staff and lots to do in this area!
