Hotel Fenix

My daughter and I stayed at the hotel for 5 days. We are satisfied with the service and cleanliness. Nice design. It was a pleasant stay in the beautiful majestic city.

Extremely hospitable and comfortable. The management is all the keen to make the stay as wonderful as possible. It has a running kitchen all the time and a bar that's open till 10pm. That's really great considering that most of Rome shuts pretty early by 7:30pm.Located in a very serene place, it's 10 mins from the nearest metro station and 6-8 mins from the nearest bus stop. Lovely people and great service. Keep it up. 👍👍

Great location for visiting Rome. Not central but well served by public transportation, close to a main road that takes you to the city center. It has parking spaces available even for vans. The rooms were modern and well designed, clean. AC was working perfectly even in the hottest of the days. Breakfast was excellent.

Had a delightful stay here. The breakfast was good. Actually offered a lot more variety than most Italian hotels. The staff was very helpful and really exceptional at accommodating our needs. The rooms were cleaned every day. It was only a short walk to the Metro station and in minutes we were in the crowded touristy parts of town. So nice to settle in at night where it felt peaceful.

Nice hotel to stay in rome, near metro station and really comfortable rooms, good breakfast and kind staffs.

We were blown away, words fail to describe how special this hotel felt to us during our three-night stay (for the record we been lucky enough to stay in 4-star beachfront resorts in our own country so we are comparing with the higher level). We arrived there belatedly after an issue delayed our train from Venezia to Rome. From the moment we arrived the staff welcomed us brilliantly and helped ease some of the tension from our train-related travails.

Even though I knew I had booked a suite, I had never imagined it would be THIS big. There were two basins, two beds and plenty of room in between for all our suitcases as well as ample storage for garments. Breakfast was served in a nice area, the detox citrus water was a big plus.

I was concerned that the neighbourhood might be a little out of sight, as we had spent our previous nights around Termini with easy access to both metro A and B. However once I identified the nearest bus stops I realised that it was quite easy to get around. Buses to Termini run on nearby Via Nomentana and you can find other bus lines on Corso Trieste on the other side. Corso Trieste also features a decent selection of restaurants. The trade-off compared to Termini was that this area was a lot quieter, more spacious and generally nicer!

Finally the hotel features a pleasing backyard where people can enjoy a drink or tea, or simply chill.

My big regret is that we did not fully get to enjoy our time at Fenix Hotel because of further issues with Italian trains as well as our own poor planning. I badly wish that someday I get the chance to revisit Rome and to stay at this extremely special place (not necessarily in a suite, a smaller room will do). Even if I don't, I will always remember fondly the few hours I spent there and wish they had lasted longer.

Stayed here for a weekend visit to Rome and had no complaints. It has a bit of a rustic feel, and while alot of it could do with a bit of paint touch ups, the room was good with a balcony, always clean and staff were always friendly and helpful too. The breakfast was lovely. Only downside is its a bit of the way if you're looking to get into the main part of the city but the nearest metro station is a 10-15 minute walk down the road which takes you into the heart of Rome.

We really feel at home here. Friendly and kind staff. Rooms are maintained well daily and a wonderful breakfast to start your day!

Quiet and good location. Staffs are kind and fluent in English. Breakfast is superb. Garden is charming. I will stay again when I visit Rome.
