Horrible service, since when did hotels started charging for cutlery and daily water bottles
Highly disappointed by the service.
I would not at all recommend this hotel to anyone.

Very rude people at front desk, they don’t care about anything but your money. Hotel room very bad smell and small rooms, location outside garbage dumpster. Breakfast is very horrible food and the workers are very money hungry. I would never stay here again. The pictures online don’t match the real pictures! Stay away from this hotel they do not like anyone unless you are Turkish. Elevators take very long to come down and the workers stare at you and talk shit the entire time! Worst hotel I have ever stayed at

I had booked a room for three nights. Some of the toiletries, like shampoo, had broken seals, and some were so dried out that nothing would come out. The attitude and tone of some staff members toward guests were inappropriate and not at all customer-friendly. I do not recommend this place, and I will not be booking here again or recommending it to others.

Horrible experience, wouldn't recommend any one to book this hotel in Taksim square, rooms are super tiny. I had reached there by 2 but still my room was not ready, and then had to take more smaller room has that room would take much more time

One of the worst service they have, you will have to call repeatedly for one small thing also, this happened daily with me.
When I told them to give me plate and spoons, according to them that's illegal and not in hotel policy to give plate and spoons in their room, must have visited soo many hotel but never got such horrible answer.
The street where the hotel is located is also not safe after sunset.

My stay at The Metropolitan Taksim Hotel was marked by a blend of positives and areas for improvement. Firstly, the hotel's location near Taksim Square proved to be exceptionally convenient, allowing easy access to the vibrant surroundings and nearby amenities. The proximity to grocery stores and food outlets, which operate late into the night, was particularly convenient for ensuring that guests' needs were readily met.

However, despite the favorable location, there were notable aspects of the hotel's maintenance and amenities that left room for improvement. The cleanliness standards fell short of expectations, with instances of dirty wash basins and inadequately cleaned rooms. Furthermore, the absence of essential amenities such as an ironing board, tissues, and international sockets for charging, detracted from the overall guest experience, especially for travelers from diverse backgrounds.

Moreover, the lack of a comprehensive breakfast menu and jet sprayer in the washrooms, given the predominantly Middle Eastern and Subcontinental guest demographic, was a missed opportunity to cater to the specific preferences and needs of these guests. The unreliable Wi-Fi, torn towels, and broken lamp shades further added to the inconvenience experienced during the stay.

Despite these shortcomings, I must commend the hotel staff, particularly Mr. Hamza, for their professionalism and efforts to address concerns promptly. Their attentive service and willingness to accommodate guests, such as arranging room changes when necessary, were appreciated and helped mitigate some of the challenges faced during the stay.

While my overall experience at The Metropolitan Taksim Hotel was decent, with certain positive aspects, including the accommodating staff and convenient location, I believe there are other options available in the same area that may offer a more satisfactory experience, particularly in terms of maintenance and amenities. Nevertheless, I hope that the feedback provided can contribute to the ongoing efforts to enhance the quality of service and facilities offered at the hotel.
