We are not staying here, but we are joining to some food events that they host. Always a pleasure to visit James and Dani, the place has a great atmosphere and the food is SO yummy!!

This place was recommended by friends when I was planning to stay for a month in Bansko. I'm so glad I went for it! James and Danny made me feel at home (which is so valuable when you're a nomad constantly traveling). "He's an eternally happy soul, isn't he?". It was a throw-away observation about one of my fellow guests from James, one half of Hotel Avalon's marvellous management double-act, James and Dani. Without pause I replied "Yes, there's quite a few of us here aren't there?" And that got me thinking... Everyone wants to be happy, but it seems so few people genuinely are... For any period of time at least...

Avalon is a great place to haul up for a month or more while exploring bansko. James and Dani help you out with great advise, lovely food and a occasional trip to the hotsprings. 30m to the mountains and only 2 hours to the greek beaches.

Great place to stay for a relaxing holiday. Close to Gondola. Hotel has great rates for skiing with local ski rental. Great breakfast buffet with local and international dishes.

The owner of the hotel is absolutely devoted to his customers and unmatched kindness. Thanks to him, we saved a lot of time and discovered really typical and great addresses (thermal baths, Turkish baths, skiing, restaurants) in Bansko and its surroundings. This establishment truly deserves to be called family friendly. WE HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

The hotel is nice and from my understanding it will go through a massive renewal. The manager was amazing. Very friendly, nice and helpful. I am looking forward to come here in the winter as well for winter holidays.

Hotel Michel is located near the city centre, 10 minutes walking. It's super clean, the stuff is very nice and the rooms are vast. It is located in a very calm area.

Cosy guest house, very kind hosts, close to center, quiet place for family hollidays, all season. A possibility for hiking tours with Vlado.

The location is great. It's near the ski lift and the restaurants etc, but set back just enough to enjoy peace and quiet. There are studio apartments, one bedroom apartments and two bedroom apartments. All are self catering. The apartments are all privately owned by individual owners. There is a management company that rents out a few apartments. You can go through the official Grand Montana website...

Good value for money. Family of 4, 2 bedrooms, plenty of space, comfy beds. Kitchenette missing some basic extras like tea towel, small pan, wooden spoon but we improvised easily enough (campers!). Shower tray did leak a little as needs re-seal, but nothing major. Drawers in bedroom broken, but plenty space in wardrobe. Pool/spa could do with tlc but fine for a dip and kids enjoyed. Great location...

Stayed here for a week over Christmas in apartment on top floor. It was massive so much space and view over town to mountains. Beds were comfortable and our double was at least king size though duvet was only a double so used a single next to it. It was clean though various small issues such as in bathroom shower cubicle leaked as drain was at highest point so it flooded bathroom floor and flowed out...

Fantastic family hotel, great food and attentive staff. Very clean rooms and quite spacious. We stayed there for a week with 2 small children- ideal really. Their kids room is so much better than in pictures they have up on the website and the lady there does arts and crafts with the kids. And the pool is very warm- perfect for after skiing and to tire out the kids. If we go back to Bansko, we will...

I visit Bansko many times , this Hotel is the best for families and group of friends. Very clear , amazing apartments and magnificent hospitality and services. Food was very good and relaxing moments at the bar inside the Hotel. I recommended for sure. See you next year...

We stayed here outside the ski season and used it as a convenient base for the beautiful town of Bansko and hiking in the Pirin mountains. Our room was in fact an extremely nice apartment with a large, well equipped kitchen/dining room and clean bathroom. This was my fourth visit to this hotel. As always it was perfect. During reservation you can book everything and I highly recommend doing so. The prices are good and Katarina will make sure all is perfect. The ski school instructors are great as all the staff. We had a perfect time, again

Great staff, clean and comfortable rooms, nice restaurant. We really enjoyed the restaurant area, where we spent most of the time. There’s a nice fireplace, the food is delicious, the menu is sufficient and provides options for everyone. The hotel has its own parking lot, but the location also provides plenty of places where you can park your vehicle.

A great accommodation in the ski resort of Bansko. If you want to be quiet, beautiful and civilized, you have to go to Teddy House. Clean, quiet, very nice buffet (for breakfast), great spa but the most important is the family and the willingness of the staff. It is really worth.

Should one wish for a family hotel with clean, cozy and comfortable rooms plus a friendly staff always at hand, then Teddy House in Bansko is the place. I emphasize on the helpful service, provided with care and a smile at all times, and on the cleanliness of the rooms, a feature that is maintained throughout the guest's stay. What a thrill ! Highly recommended resort. We loved the place where we decided to spend a week of holidays with family. It offers everything you need to the point that you don't necessarily need to go out in the evening after a sporty day of hiking or skiing. The jacuzzi, the sauna, the hamman and the very large pool, not forgetting the small fishes taking care of your feet or massages, help you relaxing...

Excellent great value hotel. Free shuttle to the ski complex and only 10 minute walk into the superb Bansko. Great friendly service and food quality. Special shout out to Bobby the bartender, really top bloke and fantastic service. Will be visiting here again.

Excellent accommodation! We had a large two bedrooms apartment, which included two bathrooms and a huge livingroom. It had a balcony with lovely views, which allowed the smokers in the group to stay close. The children enjoyed the swimming pool and sauna and played pool every night. We all enjoyed the food and the service was good. They had a good shuttle bus service going to the ski slopes every morning...

Excellent service overall. We had a nice stay at this hotel. Swimming poll has a very comfortable temperature, parking places are right in front of hotel or in the close proximity. Breakfast was excellent and they had lovely Easter decorations everywhere! The view from the room was breathtaking.

Suitable for couples and families, games rooms for all ages, large spa with heated pools, parking and courteous staff. If there are less than 30 guests at the hotel there is no buffet at breakfast and the choice is from a menu. Delicious dish but no desserts and extras. A bit far from the center but worth the money.

Rooms - 9 out of 10. With modern shower and nice facilities. Cleaning was not "stable".. Breakfast - 10. Very rich, with fresh good quality food, some prepared on the spot per request. Spa - 10. Fantastic stay so far. Staff couldn't be more helpful. Bus to lifts very handy, but note they leave from the carpark to the left of the gondola exit, not the main bus bit. Kids club fab. Eaten in both restaurants so far and both are great.

Not realy a 4star hotel. Rooms are very small, with small closet which can never fit your and your family's skiing gear (jackets, pants...) breakfast is good, so is dinner. Spa is decent.

I stayed in an apartment in this facility and it was spacious and well equipped although a few tea bags and coffee sticks would have been a nice touch. I was taken aback by the fact that we needed to make our own bed at night as the duvet didn't have a sheet (?!). What they may lack in certain features you might want, the staff and service they provide is well worth staying here. We have just returned home from a long weekend and we just want to thank everyone at Mountain View for being so kind and helpful from the moment we walked in to the moment we left. The eggs for breakfast are an absolute must as well! Best I've had in years.

We've had a great stay so far. Staff are all so friendly and willing to help despite the reviews saying otherwise! They upgraded us to a nice balcony room with an amazing view. Food has been great considering the price and the included wine/beer at dinner (which we didnt know about) has been a treat!! Short walk to the rental areas and gondola. Overall experience was good as a budget option. Cleanness wasn't the strong point of that room, as it wasn't very well cleaned. We had to have the bedlinens changed on check-in since they had stains and hair on them. Staff was very helpful and helped with everything.

I was verry happy with accommondation. Especially I would like to thank to receptionist Chris and barman George. They really took care about us and helped us to enjoy our stay. Extra bed wasn't good.

The room was clean and comfortable. You can't control the temperature in the room, and for us it was a bit too warm. Luckily there is a balcony so we were leaving the balcony door open to ventilate and cool the room down. It is 15 minutes walk from the gondola (that is the only downside of this hotel), there is a shuttle bus that runs every 30 minutes which takes you directly to the gondola and back...

This a very good and new hotel. The staff is very kind. It is very well positioned near the gondola departure, which is confortable for skiing. And above all it is one of the few hotel which can provide VIP skipass which saves you from the unimaginable queues at the entrance of the gondola.
