Holiday Inn Munich - Leuchtenbergring, an IHG Hotel

The hotel is generally very good, has a great location, good and varied breakfasts, and comfortable and quiet rooms. Unfortunately, the reception at the hotel spoils the experience. Some unfriendly people can spoil your enjoyment of the place, and this is what we encountered unfortunately with somebody at the reception on Saturday around 4:00 PM. When checking in,By avoiding dealing with us and delaying our check-in service and keeping us in a waiting
state at the reception .
Fortunately, we were served by someone else
I think guests should be given the right to award points to effective people and deny them to negative others. This will be useful for the management of the respectable hotel to identify the weak points of its respected employees.

Later, on the other hand, we were contacted nicely by the hotel manager, who also offered to provide any assistance. This is very kind and a positive thing to appreciate

Visited in August.
Loved the road view, watching cars and people go by their day.
Breakfast had a wide variety!
Rooms were spacious, comes with an iron and ironing board.
And free lemonadeeee
Complimentary water and tea everyday, including your own mugs, anddd a whole kettle in your room!

Now, the service on the other hand...
Staff were a bit untrained.
I contacted them twice AND called before hand to make sure my family of 4 can have our 2 rooms next to eachother and to atleast have one room ready to check in since I let them know I'll be arriving 2 hours before check in.
I get it, it's not always possible. But my whole family ended up sleeping in the lobby and not a SINGLE receptionist decided to let us know the rooms were now available or ready? The staff had a whole shift and did not inform eachother of our situation? Whatever, atleast we got out rooms next to eachother.

A fire alarm went off at midnight, and they never explained what happened or tried to calm any people down? No problem at all.

Gym was locked for some reason as well, not sure if I was supposed to ask the receptionist for a key card or something.

Overall, Location is excellent, Hotel is really good, Service just needs a bit work on, but I'd definitely book it again if I ever visited Munich again. Loved the fact the DM is right besides the hotel.

The hotel is clean and with all the facilities you need. The reception team looks a bit overwhelmed or still green… checking in was not the smoothest (but perhaps there was just too much people!)

Parking is big , safe and nice! EV charging available at a fee.

Good solid holiday inn - nothing special. We had a good stay - friendly staff at reception. The beds were comfy and there was no noise in the rooms so I got a good sleep. Being a IHG member my welcome drink wasn’t as generous as I’ve had in other holiday inns - just a small beer and no snacks. Room was expensive for the size / location but it was a busy weekend when Adele was playing. Guests were incentivised to not have daily housekeeping - free drink or 500 points.

Excellent breakfast, people raved about it. The rooms were a little too hot, even with AC put on a low temp on cooling. But a great stay.

Very helpful employees, beginning from Reception Alexandra to the very kind person at breakfast ( I don’t know his name but he is around 55-56 years old) Very convenient location easy to access to the train station. Also consider having the fresh and clean/tasteful breakfast.

The Holiday Inn Munich Leuchtenbergring offers a top-notch stay. The modern rooms are comfortable and well-equipped. Its central location allows convenient exploration of the city.
