The hotel room was clean and tidy, a great position close to beach and restaurants not far from old town as well. We were there when the power cut happened. I cannot praise the staff enough for the way we were treated not only that day but everyday we were there. 100% would recommend and return again. Mike & Sue Miles.

This place is great, took us in without notice when we had a problem with another accomodation, staff is kind and helpful, located in a very nice area with all kind of services around, room are spacious and sparkling clean with great A/C and the buffet breakfast is delicious and varied !!

arrived after a tiresome journey the owner came out to take our cases in,checkin was swift room with a balcony at front of hotel daughter in next room great the room was great beds wow and soft, all the staff wwere great food a ok bottle of wine on the table at meal times although the hotel was 90% full no waiting for a table staff were on the ball would I use this hotel again YES.

A nicely located modernised hotel. Check-in was easy and quick. The toom, for two, was a little small but cosy. The shower room was very large by comparison to the room size. Ample pressure and hot water. The AC in the room was new and though it is slow to respond, it works very well. The hotel was great, spacious room, with terrace + fridge and the shower pressure was great too. They had events in the night but you couldn’t hear it from the room, which it was nice. Stayed here for a week in May 2025. I think I was the only English person staying which suited me just fine. I stayed b&b - there was always plenty to choose from and it was good quality. Santa Faz was absolutely above what we expected! Ok the rooms are tired after 70 years but for a 2* rated hotel it was amazing. It’s located in the middle of old town and less than 200m from the beautiful beach. Breakfast is good and filling. The staff are brilliant and tend to your every need,always with a smile and we will definitely visit again in the future.

Basic but clean hotel with good staff. Food was a bit of a challenge lol. We managed to find something every meal. Go with open mind give it a chance. A few other guests had high expectations and were disappointed. But I think they missed out.

Had a lovely stay at Hotel Colon. We both loved the sea view room and sitting out on balcony. Truly worth paying a bit more to wake up to each morning!! All the staff were extremely helpful especially storing luggage because had a late flight. A self service breakfast which was very filling and still enjoy the sea view! We will definitely be back. The selling point of this hotel is that it is right on the beachfront. We paid extra to have a full sea view on the front which was great. The room itself is basic but it was clean and the bed was comfortable. The maid service was great. The breakfast was ok, enough choice to pick from. Booked for a solo long weekend. This hotel was perfect for me. The view is spectacular! My room was dated but everything you needed including a full size fridge. The shower was powerful and hot. If you’re looking for a cheap clean hotel then look no further. Stayed here as part of a friend’s hen weekend (single room for me). Great value. Super location just back from the beach in the old town. Lovely big apartment pool fantastic, we are 2, 71 year old lady's, we had a bed each (which is what we wanted because we are friends) BUT we would have appreciated 2 bed sheets each instead of 1 each, and we would have liked pillow cases on the pillows, apart from that lovely apartment.
