Although the building looks somewhat old, all the necessary facilities were properly functional. On the second day of our stay I witnessed a check in the quality of the pool water by the relevant authorities. Don't know the results of course but there is appropriate quality control, apparently.
The employees are very helpful and friendly.
The only issue (perhaps) is that there are no private balconies. This of course depends on your perspective. If you like to socialize with the neighbors, it might even be a benefit.

When we went to eat the night we got to the hotel we were met with stressed servers and had to wait a long time to get acknowledged even though they saw us at the doorway. We eventually got a table and were told to hurry up because we didn’t reserve a table, even though there was no more people waiting or that even came later (they also had 2 tables for 4 free). We ordered wine but got no bread, salt or pepper on the table. There was a lot of running past our table since they had some sort of table in the back with bread, oils, cutlery and such. It took a long time to get the food and it was kind of little food. The only time we got a smile was when we payed for dinner.
The rooms looked okay, but there is absolutely no sound proofing I could hear the room next to us talking. The double bed glides apart during the night. The cleaning was good.
Breakfast is very disappointing, the food is mediocre, the bacon is either burnt or almost raw, the yoghurt is kind of warm and the pizza slices tastes weird. The music is not calm its remixes, stuff to expect on a slow club. I don’t know if it’s a regular thing or just for the two days we were there that they use plastic cups and paper mugs instead of regular ones.

Beautiful clean hotel with a comfortable bed and roomy shower/ tub. Just a short drive to the Vatican and close to top sites in Rome. The breakfast buffet had a lot of yummy food and coffee beverages. The rooftop bar offered beautiful views including the dome of the Vatican.

Breakfast was good. Staff was polite and helpful. The location is ok, because metro is approximately 16min from the hotel, for us it was ok. The room wasn’t so good as in pictures,i didn’t felt like I was in the 4star hotel,because there was problems to get in the room (with card system). When looking at the ceiling- it looked that there was leaking once upon a time. In the bathroom there were broken tiles. The bathtub had scratches, worn out. Looked worn.

Great breakfast. Very good service. Good wifi. If you like to discover by foot or bus the area its very easy to get anywhere. I use google maps for all my trips and went perfectly. Never lost. Also i took an electric ride when was to late and again i was never lost. Once you know the area its easy to go everywhere. The hotel needs a little bit of renovation but we only stayed in for sleep and breakfast.

This hotel is not 4 stars. Old rooms, questionable cleaning, no covers!!! We had an old, rug like blanket. Also, no air conditioning! In the 21 st century, the AC was not working! Location is relatively ok, kind of far from the centre but certainly not worth the money. Not to mention the common area terrace. I understand the concept but there is little to no privacy as random guests would walk by your window and use the table in front of the window. Also, the advertised photos show a FALSE VERSION OF THE REALITY. Avoid at all costs.

I have stayed in many 4 star hotels around the world, including Rome. This hotel is definitely not 4 stars - more like 3. Old interiors, exterior and rooms. The initial room we were given was just awful. There were two old beds that had been painted and the paint was noticeably coming off one of the beds. There were no tea and coffee making facilities in the room, no iron and no conditioner in the bathroom. After raising my concerns with staff we were upgraded to the premium superior room. Hardly anything superior. The curtains are broken, again no tea and coffee making facilities ( I had to ask for it), no conditioner in the bathroom and no iron. I called to ask for an iron and hour ago and still waiting. The buffet breakfast was ordinary - again not 4 star quality. Previously I have stayed at Starr hotel Metropole in Rome which is 4 stars but should be 5 stars. The only reason I didn't stay there this time was unfortunately fully booked. I'm really disappointed to pay almost $2000 AUD to stay in this hotel for a week.

I enjoyed every moment of my stay at this hotel where the staff were always courteous friendly and professional. Our room was great very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was good with a good variety of hit and cold food.

It's located in a beautiful neighborhood, close to the city center. It conveniently connects to public transportation options such as the metro and bus. The cost of my stay was fairly reasonable, considering that I stayed there for a week. I was happy with the breakfast and the connection of the Wi-Fi. In addition, there is plenty of parking space, as well as a nice service for washing and ironing of clothes. However... there are two very significant drawbacks impacting the hotel, which is the staff and privacy & safety.
To start off, I was extremely dissatisfied with the cleaning of the room. Everyday there was dust and hair left uncleaned around the floor, tables and bed. Despite reporting this three times, no action was taken, which showed me a lack of concern from staff. Additionally, the walls of the room were very thin, allowing me to hear conversations and snoring from my neighbors during the night, which was not a comfortable experience. Moreover, all balconies lacked proper separation, since they are completely connected to each other, with only a single bush vase on each side to separate one balcony from the other. Therefore, you can imagine how I felt when I would find the balcony door constantly being left open from the cleaning personnel, not to mention having to completely shut the curtains every night. To make it worse, they forgot to lock the door of the room once. With a slight touch the door could be opened, which I found completely irresponsible. No explanation was ever given, and I'm grateful that nothing was stolen. The irony of the situation is that they have cards placed around the room, asking the guests to re-use towels and bedsheets, not use too much water, as well as keep the windows closed...
In summary, visit the hotel at your own expense and consider everything there is. Can't say that I recommend it.

Very good hotel for the price we’ve paid. Rooms are very good, clean. Restaurant breakfast was more than satisfying with plenty of choices. Location is close (10min. Walking) to metro station, and to city Center (20-25min if you like to walk).
