I have experienced a lot of S-H-I-T in Izmir, especially with my 3-star hotel experience so I thought that this 5 star hotel would be a 4-star experience. I was pretty accurate…
Rooms: 25/30
The rooms, though a lot more spacious than Extenso and looks slightly better, it certainly isn’t a big room and is still pretty mid. The cleanliness is also just okay, not 5-star level. (Also the bathroom is high and not suitable for all, and theres no shower place other than the bathtub.)
Facilities: ?
I only came for 1 night so it isn’t fair to rate the facilities.
Service: 12/15
Just a typical mid service. Not much good and not much bad.

I’ve had a lot of terrible food in Turkey. Out of my 16 meals in Turkey, 1 was from here and it was not good just like the others. (Only 1 was good out of 16) There were quite limited options and the food is a mid taste. There should be more meat in a 5 star hotel.

If you are tight on cash but need a place to stay, OR if you want to tell people that you came to a 5-star hotel but don’t want to spend more than 1500 TL/person/night, then this is the place.

Rooms are decent size, but bathroom sink and shower drainage is terrible, with bad smell always lingering in the whole room. Hotel shampoo and shower gel are basically dyed water. Room entertainment is far below average, the TV is not even connected to the Internet.

Location is very bad. The closest place is mall of istanbul, which is only close on the map. It takes more than 10 minutes drive or >1hr walk. Nothing walkable close by, not even a single cafe or restaurant, which leads you to your only food option, the hotel restaurant. See below:

I cannot recommend this hotel to anyone. Our experience was deeply disappointing for several reasons:
Smelly Bathroom: The toilet in our room had a strong, unpleasant odor that made it hard to sleep. We had to keep the bathroom door shut at all times.
Poor Internet Connection: The Wi-Fi was so slow that even loading a basic Google search was a struggle.
Subpar Housekeeping: Despite requesting housekeeping, we returned to find the food tray and dirty dishes still in our room. They only made the bed and left a few low-quality shampoo and conditioner bottles in the bathroom.
Plumbing Issues: Both the shower and sink drains were clogged. Taking a shower required waiting for the water to drain before continuing.
Overall, the management and upkeep of this hotel are far below acceptable standards. I strongly recommend avoiding this place

I have no idea why people are rating for this 2 star hotel it’s probably their own staff, the receptionists are extremely unfriendly unapproachable and un professionals! Rooms are not 100% clean, the gym and spa are closed, the room windows are so low and the way they open up are so dangerous for children so zero health and safety taken into consideration! Over all would not recommend this hotel at all!

The hotel was lovely, very clean and the staff were amazing. Denise, a guest supervisor, was very lovely and helpful and they were always around when needed.
However the website stated that there was a gym and a swimming pool in the hotel, and neither were open while i was there so that was a little disappointing.

Turkish airline provided food was very bad. Still been unable to cash in my vouchers. I heard you can transfer to your credit card (Fyi). They had to come and repair our toilet in the hotel. Most importantly THYwould not return our luggage which we had our medication in. Keep fingers crossed to get home safe. Bottom line bandages on serious issues all the way around. My advise avoid flying with Turkish Airlines if that is possible.

The tow stars for the gust manager Ms Naz and recipient and the guys on loopy they are so perfect and kind and they have great welcoming
But the main problem at breakfast time the staff their so rude you feel they don't like to work.
The breakfast itself not attractive I mean they select very bad type of cheese or fruit also the way how they provided the food is so bad and in coffee corner always dirty.
Room service are perfect and kind too.

Although it’s meant to be a “5 star hotel”, at most it’s a 3. Rooms were clean and the staff were nice.
Breakfast buffet is okay but limited with options. The restaurant / in-room dining is completely over priced for what you’re getting, with the quality of the food being average.
Location is not ideal, nothing is really close by other than the mall of Istanbul which isn’t walkable.
Spa/gym services is “under renovation” but it seems like this has been the case for months and there hasn’t been any renovations occurring during our stay.
The AC doesn’t really work. We asked to have it fixed, which they claim they did but it never seems to get any lower than 22 degrees Celsius.
Breakfast buffet is okay but limited with options. The restaurant / in-room dining is completely over priced for what you’re getting, with the quality of the food being average.

Nice hotel with spacious rooms, but not very helpful staff avoiding contact and pretending not to see or here you. Stayed two nights there with a big group and our room cards weren't working after the first night. There was quite big choice of food for breakfast, but the dinner was very poor - some rice and beans plus small soup.
The hotel is located next to a loud and busy estacade. No place to walk around. There is a small shop nearby but there is almost nothing to buy.
