Nova Plaza Prime Hotel

Turkish airline provided food was very bad. Still been unable to cash in my vouchers. I heard you can transfer to your credit card (Fyi). They had to come and repair our toilet in the hotel. Most importantly THYwould not return our luggage which we had our medication in. Keep fingers crossed to get home safe. Bottom line bandages on serious issues all the way around. My advise avoid flying with Turkish Airlines if that is possible.

Whoever runs this place has no clue as to what "5 stars" means.

Room: shabby and uncomfortable (leaky shower, cheap toiletries, wobbly chairs, no dining table, awful sound insulation, worn out and torn linen, missing sealing and slow drain in the shower)
Hotel service: the spa was closed without any warning, the restaurant is abysmal (poor menu and even worse execution), the lifts are messy and the stairs look like a crime scene, on the first day they left the bathroom trash bag on the countertop of the sink, the vacuum was left in front on my door for days, I asked FOUR times to replace a wobbly and dangerous chair in my room, they never did.
Location: the website claims the hotel is in the heart of the city. Apparently the heart of the city is 40 to 60 minutes by cab from the ACTUAL city centre.
Safety: I'll save the worst for last. The keys have to be reset every 24 hrs as a "safety measure". Too bad every time I asked the reception to reset my key, I was NEVER asked to show my ID, to confirm my name, or to demonstrate in any form or way that I was entitled to have a key to that specific room. I could have asked to set the key for any room in the hotel. Moreover, during my stay, the cleaning staff entered my room twice without knocking while I was inside (I could have been naked for all they knew) and once the concierge entered with another client as they were convinced that was their room and the hotel had no idea the room was already occupied.

This place is a dumpster fire, it's not worth 2 stars, let alone 5.

Avoid at all costs.
