Where to stay with kids in Ayia Napa

And three days ago the evening, the water was calm and very warm, unlike other beaches

Beautiful resort, clean room and very helpful and friendly staff. Only problem was the green seaweed washing up at the beach.

The bay allows you to choose a place depending on the wind - to swim in the waves on the left side or with children in the right side, protected from the wind, closer to the hotel. There is a parking lot for bicycles

Building and surroundings, like gardens plants and flowers very well maintained, best location ever.

All the small things add up to a mediocre experience. The pool are was nice and the quality of food when ordering al la carte was very good

Great location, easy access to the beach,and short distance to walk to the centre of Ayia Napa. Staff very friendly, attentive and approachable. We had a huge balcony overlooking the sea and the pool

The pool and waterpark are great and there is always a lifeguard on hand. The pool bar had plenty of drinks to choose from that won't disappoint. The food was delicious with a huge range

The hotel location is fantastic, about a 20 minute walk to the local shops although there are 2 small shops next to and opposite the hotel (although the prices are a little higher than the shops in town but worth it when you can't be bothered to walk and its nice to support them)

Notable dishes to try; calamari, fish, various yummy salads, delicious soups especially the chicken and vegetable varieties. This is my first all inclusive and it has made me want to holiday in this way in the future

Always something for the two fussy 13/14-year-olds. So you’re not caught off guard like I was they supply a kettle in the room with cups and glasses, but you have to purchase your tea coffee water etc

Loved the two themed restaurants we tried. Big shout out to Steve and his big personality at the pool bar! After a difficult few weeks in our lives this was a perfect reset

We stayed at the Olympic Lagoon Resort Hotel outside of Agia(Ayia) Napa November. Its near the Landa beach and 15mins was to Nissi beach. These beaches are so tranquil and shallow to swim in

The hotel it self has its own wonderful gardens, plenty of sun beds near the pool and on the grass area. Wondering around the grounds was very pleasant you could lose yourself in an oasis style of surrendering

Great hotel, staff and food is great. Wana give a massive shout out to Steve the barman, he has made mine and my family’s holiday even better

The hotel has 4 themed restaurants and each with its own theme and a bit like going out to a restaurant. The main restaurant is okay and the food is not always hot, the breakfast is good

The rooms have high ceiling and decorated to nice standard, the bathroom could do with some new tiling as it looks bit dated

I recently stayed at this hotel and, unfortunately, my experience was disappointing for several reasons. We booked the full board option, but our first meal—a lunch—was underwhelming

Nice, modern newly renovated hotel in a pleasant location. I appreciate the beach towels that we received in the price of accommodation. The food was poor average compared to other hotels

Even at 6:00 in the morning it was already difficult to find a decent place, as nearly all beds by the pool and even on the grass areas were “reserved” with towels

The artificial bay in front of the hotel is a great place for small children and old people, but the water in it is not as clean as on other beaches

What a fantastic holiday we had, The staff are lovely, the hotel is lovely, and the location is perfect for everything you'd want, right on the beach, but also only a 5 minute walk from fantastic restaurants and bars

Looking back I think this is more of a family, couples hotel as there were a few hotels around it where they had much more of a party environment, loud music going etc

We had a great stay at Nelia Beach! The staff was amazing, whether it was the restaurant/bar staff, the spa staff or reception, everything went well. There was always space around the pool during our stay

The outdoor pool was lovely, the time of year we went meant it wasn't too busy, there were always enough outdoor beds and all was tidy

Those who made that happen, thank you so much! We didn't have any issues with the food, each day was different which was good, think out of the 7 days we were there only 1 day we'd rather go out due to food options dinner time

The temperature of the pool was pretty cold considering the climate season. Like: Although the pool was pretty cold, it was amazing and huge

There were guests who hugged him when they saw him, evidently having met him from previous visits! The place attracts great people, making it easy to meet new friends and have a good time

The hotel can boast that its buffet breakfast is truly comprehensive with every dish imaginable. Competent staff occupy and serve in all departments and add a personal aspect

Absolutely top hotel - rooms, common places, facilities, pools, gym are excellent. Beautiful garden inside with a few bungalows. The hotel has its own beach (with beach service) which is a big plus

Our kids didn’t want to leave because they had such a great time with her. She gave us parents a chance to relax and unwind, which we really appreciated

3 Coffee machines that make all types of coffee, tea and milk areas and a fruit juice/water dispenser. The pool looked nice enough although I didn’t use it

Your towels for the beach/pool are in your room but you can change them for clean ones daily at the pool bar. For me the main draw was the beach/es. The main beach is very pleasant, golden sand and clear blue waters

The sea was very warm for this time of year so swimming was my main focus whilst here

On this short trip I stayed mostly local, only walking up the coastline towards the centre of Ayia Napa and back again. I really enjoyed this trip and the Asterias hotel made for a great place to base myself

They have a shop for essentials, but a couple of supermarkets up the road if you need more. Laundry is extortionate, but you can wash smalls in the sink if needs be. All in all, great hotel, great staff

The hotel may have provided a kettle upon request but I didn’t ask, instead I stocked up on iced coffees from the nearest off-site supermarket which is about a 10-15 minute walk out to the main road & has a much larger selection of items than the small convenient hotel shop

Pool was good and really clean the day we used it but we are note beach focused on our hols and love the sea. Location is great and near everything you need with some great beaches nearby within walking distance

We had a really lovely chat with him about family values and he was so lovely to speak to and you could tell how genuine he really was. He made the meal very special for me and my wife and we tipped him really well also

Television wasn't plugged in and had the wrong plug on it but we don't use them anyway but just a point to make. Food was really nice and very varied every night and there wasn't a day we didn't enjoy our meals

Rooms could do with a little touching up in places ie the shower silicone in room 4313 could so with a renew and tidy up. Other than that the rooms are very large and everything was as it should be

Some of the staff you have need to be truly recognised for the service they give and this was the young with the glasses and the most amazing snile called Veronica who was in the dining area

The outside entertainment area is in need of a good look at the way it is laid out and needs more of a seating area to make it better if you want people to use it more

The view from the infinity pool was amazing. The food in the restaurant was great. Good variety to suit everyone. Friends ate in the a la carte restaurant that you needed to book for

We’ve had an amazing stay at this hotel. The staff are so helpful and accommodating to all our requests. Great food and service all round. We will definitely be returning. Great location too.

Why put a bar in the reception? There was a swim up bar at the top pool however you were not allowed drinks in the pool so you had to immediately move to the side of the pool before being told off (again)

UPDATED: Despite the two beautiful pools, they are unfortunately inaccessible. Guests reserve sunbeds with towels even before the pools open, leaving them constantly occupied

The check-in process was smooth and efficient, with your front desk team providing a warm welcome and ensuring I had all the information I needed for my stay

I particularly enjoyed the stunning view of ayia nap from my balcony which added to the overall sense of tranquility and escape from the bustling island outside. Dining at your hotel was a true delight

My husband and I were guests for 1 week in May and we loved it. Hadn't been back to Cyprus since 2008. Really loved this hotel, great staff, food was good, sun loungers comfortable and spacious pool areas

Its staff and service is amazing. They serve different cuisines from all over world, but also accommodate children who might be fussy and adults who maybe want something very plain

- No indoor bar which was a shame as there is the only bar situated near the pool and normally was quite busy, however the staff worked very hard and were always extremely polite

The rooms were spotless everyday, the food was outstanding and had a variety even for allergies! Every staff member was so friendly and the entertainment was awesome! - Gino was fabulous!! I will recommend this place to anyone I know!!

The Roof Top à la carte restaurant (complimentary meal) was amazing. If we had stayed longer we would have gone back and gladly paid. Overall great experience and will definitely be back

There is also a kiosk that you can have street food. There’s nothing that they haven’t thought of

Worth trying all the 5 different restaurants as they all offer something different. I especially appreciated the quality AC in the bedrooms which ensured a great night's sleep

The hotel is wonderful! The room are spacious with great design. The hotel is very clean , the pool and beach are wonderful. The kids had a great time in the splash area

What a fabulous holiday with my family. I can't rate this hotel highly enough. The location, staff, food, facilities, bedrooms were all first class

The 2 pools were both very different, one offering lots of space and a good swim up bar, the other was a show pool with bubbles, chairs, jets and lights. Sun loungers were fairly easy to get before 9-10am

Pool side service was not really happening like other resorts manage, but we were happy to go to the nearby bars, where service was always with a smile by staff that were kept busy! The gardens and grass areas were beautifully kept and wonderful views from cabana day beds on the grassed area

Manager Anna deserves special recognition she was always present, warm, and genuinely dedicated to making sure guests had the best possible experience. Her service was outstanding and left a lasting impression

The pools are a lovely temperature but a little slippery when you entered, there are hand rails though. The gardens are kept tidy and the garden red are constantly working hard

My only negative were the toilets around the the hotel, these do need bring up to date, the ones near the adult only side of restaurant are very dated and dinge oftern look like they need a good clean, the ones near the outside pool bars are just as bad

We were at the deeper end of the main pool but had steps that stretched across the width of the pool so very easy access especially for anyone with disabilities

The food is always warm, yes there's the salads bar, pizza station and pasta station every day but that's the same everywhere

Shampoo, shower, gel, tooth brushes, shower caps, mini manicure set. Small fridge with tea and coffee making facilities. Kettle and Coffee pod machine. Large lounge area with 2 sofa beds and big comfy chair

Very sociable and friendly staff here. There are Russian-speaking administrators. Generally a great place for a family vacation

Great hotel staff cant do enough for you. Only reasons for not giving 5 star is they advertised pool bar and 3 restaurants however due to it being low season the pool bar and 2 of the restaurants were closed

I have been to melissi hotel the first time with my family we are all very happy, the receptionist are very friendly also the restaurant staff and food is very nice a big choice, the Team off the pool bar there so friendly and nice choice of the menu food and drinks very nice cocktails,Sotos is so friendly and make the best cocktails, Thank you Mr Sotos and your nice team , see you all next year

Location of the hotel is excellent. Pool scene is lovely, sunbeds really comfy and cheap upgrades available for poolside platforms with a few extras brought by staff thrown in

They were so accommodating to all my needs (even upgraded me to a better room), rooms were great, pool was fantastic, and bar and bar staff were amazing (shoutout to Lucas the best and funniest bartender ever)!!! Can’t wait to come back!

Great breakfast selection, evening buffet meals are a high standard. No complaints, we did eat out 3 times in the week, but this was because there are lots of nice restaurants tempting us nearby

Just got back from a fabulous girly getaway! The hotel was beautiful, the food was delicious, and the entertainment and pools were top-notch

Not even a glass of wine if glass of champagne is out of their reach. Maria supervisor is true host but Marios manager of Theros looks like he is not belonging in NissiBlu

No I was never offered anything "on the hotel", meaning complementary during my many lunches here even though this is what most upmarket hotels do offer

Thus he refused to make my order possible after he tried to overcharge me - girl on her own for lunches and made conditions that are not acceptable

Amazing stay at Christofinia Hotel – We’ll definitely return! We stayed at Christofinia Hotel in Ayia Napa with our family from June 24th to July 1st, 2025, and it was an excellent experience from start to finish! The hotel is recently renovated, very clean, and peaceful – perfect for a relaxing holiday

We went with two small kids and everyone made sure we felt comfortable and kids were happy! The food was excellent, great variety and seriously- everything delicious! We also enjoyed great drinks and the pool (very clean and getting warmer each day)

One windy day, we decided to stay by the hotel pool, and we were glad we did! The water was warm and clean, the pool area included a jacuzzi and a swim-up bar – such a great way to spend the day

We also want to give a special mention to Sudip, a very kind and attentive waiter from Nepal, who made our dining experience even more pleasant with his warm attitude and excellent service

In the evenings, there was entertainment at the poolside bar, which created a lovely atmosphere

What stood out the most for us was the food – absolutely incredible! The head chef is truly talented. We’ve travelled a lot and stayed in many resorts, but we’ve never had such tasty and well-prepared meals

Nissiana Hotel in Cyprus is truly an ideal place for a family vacation. The location is perfect, everything you need is close by, and the atmosphere of the hotel makes you feel completely relaxed and at ease

The only minor downside was that they could be a bit noisy at night, but overall, the comfort and cleanliness more than made up for it. This hotel absolutely deserves more than its 3-star rating

The food has been amazing and I can also highly recommend the chicken tenders in the Famous beach bar and restaurant that’s right next to the pool in the hotel. The staff are great in there too and so friendly

The room on the 5th floor that they assigned us was exactly in the middle, above the swimming pool and the pool bar, as I was dreaming for. The room was big enough, with very comfortable beds

About the room, those ambient blue lights were a touch of surprising cozy elegance. My big surprise and the icing on the cake was the balcony, wider than others, my favourite place at noon for a gin-tonic

Hotel has perfect location , close to the center and all you need is nearby. Our kids were comfortable in this hotel. Breakfast was good , but everyday was the same food. Pool closes very early at 7 PM

We are having a great time! They surprised us really nicely for my daughter’s birthday! Location is perfect, but compared to other hotels around here is very quiet at nights

She kindly checked with the Chef to make sure which dishes were safe for me, and I really appreciate when staff take the time to do this, it makes such a difference

Room is amazing, spacious, the third bed we had is super comfortable not an old sofa like others. Mattress covers and pillows super nice

The sun beds are ok though I had problems getting on and off due to me being disabled with spinal erosion, they were too low and no way of adjusting, however the pool bar was excellent, 🤪
