Seems to be well located and a short walk to the Real Madrid stadium Santiago Bernebau
We had a really good experience with this place. The personnel was nice and helpful, the rooms were spacious and clean, while the location was great for us, situated pretty close to metro stations
Absolutely excellent hotel in the outskirts of central Madrid. Clean and comfortable at a decent price. Has a pool but it's not always open to hotel guests.
The room with a giant flat screen TV, the very complete bathroom, the towels, the amenities, great
I don't give it a 5 in everything because they have just taken over the Hotel and details are missing, but in general very good
The cleaning service was also very good, doing its job every single day. It wasn't cheap, but I would say that it's worth it!

Beautiful hotel with good amenities but the only issue i have it's the location of the hotel. Quite remote with no shop or pace to get anything. Apart from that, I think everything is perfect. Good staff as well
As we speak...I'm having a nice bath! The hotel is worth your penny. Clean,20 minutes drive from the airport and also...nice people. Would recommend it. They speak English too
Thought this would be a very basic budget hotel judging by price but it was very nice indeed. Much better than some highly expensive places nearer the city centre
A clean n well maintained small hotel. Nice to stay but the breakfast spread needs to be improved further.
Only negative for some would be its location outside the city
So very helpful cannot find any bad things lively place

The small but lovely pool gave great respite from heat. The whole place had a relaxed and well cared for vibe
Can’t beat the location for shopping, eating and dining options. Also has a subway stop right out front that provides easy access to tourist areas like Puerta del Sol etc. Rooms were very nice and luxurious
This hotel is in a great location, close enough to the centre to be convenient for everything but also far enough away from the crowds. Very friendly and helpful staff. Nothing seemed too much trouble. Nice clean rooms.
Great Location in Salamanca Madrid
Great Location, stores, restaurants around. Quiet rooms.Staff friendly
We had a room for 3 people on the 4th floor, the room was modern and very clean & at night it was totally silent so we slept well. There is a bar downstairs which has a small menu but the food quality is very good
All the staff are very friendly and the front desk speak perfect English which makes check in & out very easy. There is also a metro station directly outside which can get you to other parts of the city very easily

Centrally located hotel with modern but rather small rooms. Friendly staff. Small pool area on the roof.
Staff were amazing, friendly and always helpful. Rooms were clean and had everything we need. Beds were comfortable and had good nights sleep. Hotel is clean and easy to navigate with signs everywhere
Dear Hotel Indigo Madrid Gran Vía Management and IHG Guest Relations Team,
I am writing to recognize an extraordinary act of kindness from one of your employees, Rui Pina, who went far above and beyond anything I could have expected during my stay at Hotel Indigo Madrid Gran Vía
On October 26, I lost my purse at a Burger King in Cerceda, Spain, while traveling. When I arrived at the hotel later that day, Rui was working at the front desk
He immediately showed such genuine concern and compassion, spending hours reaching out to the Burger King in hopes of finding my purse
Even though he never received confirmation that it was there, Rui personally drove all the way to Cerceda — over an hour each way — to check for himself. He did, in fact, locate my purse and brought it back to the hotel

We also spend some time at the hotel bar where we met such a great bartender/waiter (he was italian ,cant remember the name) , he was so welcoming and friendly and recommended some great places to visit in Madrid
Also all receptionists were kind and helpful all the time, but especially Juan. For sure we will stay at this hotel one day again. I fully recommend you to enjoy this hotel during your stay
Excellent smaller hotel in Madrid that is very convenient to major attractions and train station. We had a standard double - very comfortable, clean, very large bathroom and well equipped
overall a really nice experience. the breakfast was amazing with a variety of meats and cheeses. our room were clean and quite spacious, designed with a muted color palette. not a lot of view available for us
We have already stayed in Catalonia gran via in Barcelona, thats why we chose to stay at the same hotel in Madrid. Hotel catalonia Plaza Mayor was perfect during all our 7 days of stay
Room with a view was spacious, modern, clean and very comfortable, and location is perfect(5min from the centre walking)

Clean, modern interior with a charming historical facade. Great location right next to an entrance of Retiro Park. Noise insulating balcony doors/windows are nice, though with the balcony closed the room does get stuffy
Best location to walk and enjoy! We stayed for few days so every morning after delicious breakfast at hotel, walked in Retiro park! What a beauty at any season of year! Walked to Prado Museum (5 min) and 20 minute walk to Palace and all Major attractions and shopping
The location is amazing, close to great restaurants, shopping and public transportation.
Had dinner in a Restaurant on property and it did not disappoint!
This hotel is convenient for shopping
The property is very well located, with many dining options nearby and just in front of El Retiro. Unfortunately it does not have air conditioning and the street is some noisy

The breakfast was a highlight, with a delicious variety of fresh options that catered to all tastes. This hotel is incredibly kid-friendly, Highly recommend for families looking for a stress-free and enjoyable stay!
Absolutely fantastic! The hotel is gorgeous with elegantly decorated salons and the rooms comfortable. We enjoyed the breakfast every morning for five days and the service was professional and nothing but exceptional
An absolutely beautiful hotel, very well located in a great, walkable neighborhood. The hotel makes you feel as if you are staying at the home of your very (very) rich grandmother
Beautiful hotel, historic, quiet, elegant and the most delightful, helpful staff. The atmosphere is very quiet though you are close to all Madrid has to offer
It feels more like a swanky, elegant private club or extraordinary private residence than it does a hotel. The staff is top notch as is the breakfast
They surprised us with a Roscon one evening for “Reyes” and it was absolutely delicious and made us feel included in the local celebrations

Pros: great location, rooftop bar and pool and a welcome drink! I didn’t have the breakfast but that looked like a great deal as well. The rooms are beautifully decorated 10/10 for decor
That said, I would stay at the Madrid location again
The room while beautiful the most uncomfortable/cheap bed I’ve been at in a hotel! Like I was shocked when I hopped in, it was at that moment I realized I should’ve just spent more and stayed at a hotel chain I trust (but I’ve really been trying to try more boutique hotels) Do not get room 408, because I hope not all rooms are like this but I thought the room door would close automatically behind me...
There are steps in front of reception I had 2 massive bags, very odd setup that I have to separate from all my belongings to check in, not safe and simply makes no sense why you’d have reception up some steps
Location is great too!! The staff was really kind! Great view from rooftop
Cons: where this hotel misses is functionality and feel for me. The corridors to get to your room feels like a haunted house
The front desk was very helpful, very nice, except after making a mistake and causing us to have to move luggage from one room to another room, and waiting in hot hallways, we didn't get any apology

Location is perfect. Could walk everywhere needed to see the sights or have something to eat. Pedestrian street right outside with a small walk to catch an uber or taxi. Staff were friendly and helpful.
When we booked this hotel there were limited reviews, so we were a bit nervous. We picked the hotel largely because of the location and price. Because of the limited reviews, we were a bit skeptical
We will be back
We have been coming to Hotel Francisco for the last 6 years at least once/twice per year. It’s our home away from home when we are in Madrid. Great decor and staff.
Charming near attractions
Charming hotel in a great location. Close to main attractions. Quiet at night. Breakfast buffet was classy & delicious. Staff were friendly & helpful
Our room on the 6th floor had a terrace with a retractable awning overlooking the beautiful city. And a ceiling fan in the room for the hot summer days
Great hotel. Perfect location. Amazing staff. Everyone is so nice and helpful. Great bang for your buck. And the breakfast is incredible.

They clearly wanted us to return and did all in their power to make that happen
Everything good, bur very noisy aircon made sleeping difficult.
The biggest disappointment is that there is no sauna. Breakfast is okayish, small variety but tasty anyways. During lunch time there is no food around in walking distance
Please don't put my clean towels on the floor!
The restaurant seemed rather basic, therefore I went for dinner elsewhere. Airport shuttle available free of charge. Nice people at the lobby and bar
The location just minutes from the airport but in a lovely residential neighborhood with lots of trees, parks and restaurants was a wonderful surprise. We took several walks and met some nice local folks
They booked me a taxi for the next day for my flight and everything was just perfect and on time. Even for visiting into the center of Madrid, was about 25 subway away and very easy to find

Excellent location, very clean and great rooftop views. In the middle of central area, but quiet inside hotel. Countless amount of restaurants/bars on the street. Walkable area.
I’ve travelled throughout Europe and North America for work and pleasure. I have to say of all the hotels I’ve stayed in this is one of my favourite boutique hotels
Rooms are great, location is absolutely amazing with tons of restaurants, cafes and shops right outside the door
My wife and I highly recommend, and without question will be staying again if we go back to Madrid someday
Even though the hotel location is central, I'm certain there are much better hotels in the surrounding areas with better service. I won't stay at this hotel in the future
The A/C in my room doesn't get cooler than 22 degrees C and even though the maintenance guy came and tried to fix it

I can’t say enough about how good every staff member was behind the front desk. Housekeeping was also perfect. Twice a day they made up the rooms and were always accommodating with requests for extra towels or water
For the first time in Madrid I have to say this boutique hotel is a great place to stay. Beautiful building and the staff were extremely professional and accommodating per our requests
There is a relaxation pool (hot water), spa available and a wet sauna also is recommended
The staff were so nice and offered info about the area of things to do and see! The rates seemed like a reasonable price for what all you get for staying for two nights
The entire hotel staff were very helpful, very friendly, very congenial, and very knowledgeable, I would especially thank Manuel, Daniel, and Ilia for their enthusiasm and assistance with anything we needed or wanted
There were also nice amenities like espresso and tea in the room to enjoy. And the front staff offered a welcome gift of little chocolates and bottle of wine and water to the room was a nice thoughtful touch

The hotel staff was extremely professional and attentive, they held our bags in a locked room from about 9am until check in at 2pm. The hotel and room were basic, no frills but enjoyable. The room was spacious and clean
The location was amazing, right next to the Sol station which is only one stop to the main train station if you are traveling anywhere else in Spain. The breakfast was also simple but pleasant
We were not bothered at all but would caution if you are a light sleeper the hotel is on a very busy street and there was a lot of street noise. We came from nyc so it didn’t phase us
Our beds were made perfectly when we came back later in the day and our room was cleaned perfectly. The staff was friendly and helpful throughout our stay
Lovely hotel at the center of it all. Plus points on the soundproofed rooms. With the amount of noise in the area, it’s a miracle we slept well lol!

Great location in Madrid near Retiro park and Atocha train station. The rooms are okay, standard hotel rooms, nothing fancy or luxurious. If you’ve stayed at any mid tier hotel chain, these rooms are the same
The staff are excellent and helpful. This is a perfect crash pad for Madrid since you’ll likely be out all day and just want a quiet place to sleep at night
I want to highlight three staff members, Fatima, Ray and Claudia, who made the stay truly special. Fatima overheard me mention to my wife that it was going to be our daughter’s third birthday during our stay
Everything about the hotel was magnificent, but the highlight were probably the staff! Every time we go in and out of the hotel, they are always so lively and smiling. A great aura to start and end our days
Rey, together with Nico and Juan Carlos gave us a warm and happy welcome when we checked-in. Nico did us a favor and gave us a map of must-see spots that were mostly walking distance from the hotel
The hotel is PERFECTLY nestled in the heart of Madrid that is walkable to every must-see spots. The location is in the quiet quarter of the busy Madrid City, very intimate

This was a great location right next to Plaza Mayor! The building itself has a bit of history and we actually woke up to a tour group taking pictures one morning lol. Staff was super helpful and friendly
Perfect location, easy to get to much activity around the city....very helpful front desk. Rooms were just right with comfortable beds and clean linens.
We love to walk and you can walk to The Palace, The Prado and most everything in-between. The Metro is right there at the Sol station for access to the entire city of Madrid. We would definitely stay here again!
The room was a bit small but other than that nice hotel in the city center very good location
This is a great property that is in a convenient location. Comparing this property’s breakfast to other Petite Palaces we staid at it was average
50 meters to Plaza Mayor and 200 meters to Plaza del Sol! Just outside, 7 meters , yes I measured it, is a nice restaurant where you can sit and look at the busy city life, they had great food and drinks too

Loved the complimentary toiletries and the breakfast was amazing - one of the best I ever had in a hotel. So nutritious and healthy! The staff were very friendly and helpful, and the room itself very comfortable
A great hotel with spacious, bright and clean rooms, and windows facing San Miguel Market and Plaza Mayor. There is a Carrefour convenience store and free drinking water downstairs
Quiet, comfortable rooms in a great location . Excellent communication and service. Beautiful bathrooms.
Great Hotel. Clean, Friendly Staff, Safe, Covid Conscious & close to everything. Highly recommend.
Great place to stay, our room had 5 beds, everything is very neat and clean. Staff are friendly and can speak English well. Only issue is that the windows are thin so we could hear the crosswalk chirping all night long.

Heater is automatic, so in winter the ac doesn't work, but we turned off and opened teh windows for a bit and it cooled off very quickly. Very nice short stay, but just because of the area it's fantastic
Very serviceminded staff, Rebecca and her team made us feel like home. Great drinks from the bar. Cozy breakfast with fresh produce, eggs and coffe made to order. Rooms were big, clean and with comfy beds. Will be back!
The room is good, the bunk beds are in a small compartment, separate from the big bed. The location is good, there are shops along the street next to it, very clean
The room layout is reasonable, clean and tidy, and the waiter is very nice and friendly! I will stay here again next time if I have the chance

The location is super convenient
Just in front of Puerta del Sol, a few hundred meters walk
The room is small but very clean
Only average sound insulation
Overall, good value for money
This location does not include breakfast and is very affordable
The location of the hotel is relatively good, and it is very convenient to walk to the main attractions. The entrance to the garage is a bit narrow, but the front desk can help with parking
The hotel's heating is awesome, it's super hot, the sanitation is very clean, and the room is large. Two 30-inch suitcases can be easily opened at the same time.
Very good location and easily accessible to most of the attractions. Serve delicious breakfast
Room not very big but comfortable. Very nice and attentive reception staff. The room may be a little dark as it faces an interior patio, but very quiet. Value for money for Madrid, excellent

The hotel has steps up to reception, there is probably a lift but I didn’t notice it. I booked a balcony room which was a decent size for me. The sink is on the right hand side as soon as walk in the room
You can request an “iron” to press your clothes but it’s not a conventional iron. It’s a handheld steamer but it does the job. The area around the hotel is quite peaceful compared to the Gran Via area
The toilet and shower are in a separate cubicle with a glass door. The room had a minibar, digital safe and a kettle. It also came with slippers and a robe which was appreciated
You are in walking distance of practically everywhere. I didn’t need to use the tube, buses or taxis. You can walk to all the major sites within 20-30 minutes and you are very near to Retiro Park
Fantastic first time experience at this property. Solianni Solis (receptionist) and Sandra Angamarca (housekeeping) were fantastic!!! Made our experience memorable
I narrowed down my choice of hotels to two and picked this one as it appeared to be in a quiet area. I am so glad that I didn’t go for the one in Gran Via
