This is a 3 star hotel claimed to be a 4 star hotels. No tub, and hair dryer is not working. The staff are generally good, but there is an old man, i do not know what exactly his job seen frequently in corridor of the rooms without obvious reason and make clients feel uncomfortable. A man in the reception who is speaking Arabic has poor English, and many considered him bad.

I stayed at this hotel for six nights. As a four-star hotel, it was not satisfying. The location was good, and the staff’s behavior was acceptable, but the service and in-room facilities were not even at the level of a two-star hotel. The breakfast was acceptable but weaker compared to other hotels I have stayed at in Turkey.The Wi-Fi in the room kept disconnecting, and I had to go to the hallway to reconnect.
Twice when they cleaned the room, the sheets were not changed. Overall, for the same price, there are much better hotels near Taxsim and Istiklal.

Terrible Experience – Avoid This Hotel!
Taxim Express Hotel is the worst place I’ve ever stayed. There are no facilities—no internet in the rooms, no slippers, and just one shampoo per room. The rooms are dirty, dark, and have no sunlight, with an awful view. The staff are incredibly rude and don’t care about guests at all. I asked to change my room or get basic amenities like water, but they ignored me completely.
This is NOT a 4-star hotel—more like 2 stars. I deeply regret booking it and strongly recommend avoiding it, even for one night!

Location is very good.
Breakfast is fairly good compared to other hotels around.
Rooms:
They may give you some kind of rooms that has no openable windows! Whatch out if you have Claustrophobia. Check the rooms before you make the payment.
Bath: it has hair dryer and works well. The Toilet are bidet. Its a horiental jet. So for Muslims there is no problem!
Shower is well separated and water does not leak into the toilet floor. That was very interesting to me cuz every hotel that I have been to, leaks water to other parts of the restroom and accumulates somewhere out of the shower area.

Despite some negative reviews, I can confidently say that this hotel is exceptionally well-maintained, with an incredibly kind and welcoming reception staff. The room we’re staying in is spotless, and I can assure you that I’m quite particular when it comes to cleanliness, especially with the room and bedding. The location is fantastic, with everything within walking distance. Just keep in mind, if you're not paying for a luxury stay, don’t expect a gourmet breakfast—it’s great value for the price.

The service staff is very warm, attentive, friendly. There is cleanliness and all conditions to relax and concentrate on your business. Thank you very much for this wonderful hotel, I will definitely come back!

-Good water pressure and heat in the shower
-Comfortable beds
Cons:
-We asked for 3 beds when we booked but they still put a rollaway bed for one of us and it was a tiny room.
-Less than a prisoner’s portion of breakfast.
-Bed sheets don’t get cleaned they just switch the covers from one bed with another when you asked them to clean.
-Our room looked like it hadn’t been vacuumed EVER.
-Hotel room amenities was just shampoo and soaps.
-only 2 toilet papers in a room for 3 people
-No teabags/instant coffee just an electronic kettle with 2 paper cups.
-Little to almost no lighting in the room,very dark
