Food was great. The pool also and the rooms were average. The biggest problem is the parking. There is none. Only privates that rip you off in understanding with hotel employees (most likely they get a percent of the very expensive parking fee).

Beautiful place, excellent food with options for everyone, very clean rooms and very helpful staff. Very close to the beach, only five minutes at a leisurely pace. Every evening there is maybe a hour of music for children to have fun, so good place for families with children. We hope to come back next year, we had a lovely time. Nice hotel, lovely pool but the security staff have no people skills and are rude one of them blamed my son for burning a sign when my 7 year old had not been out that far and non of us smoke so where would he get a lighter? Excellent location to the interchange of transport and the Lidl store ... a short distance to the beach min 15-20 ... a quiet recreation area, good beaches, not so far from Varna ... the hotel has everything for a comfortable stay with a pool .. and not a big seating area...attentive and helpful owner..a pleasant experience and a comfortable hotel...recommend👌👌🌼

Probably the nicest place (in terms of room) that we stayed in in all of Bulgaria. Places like this gotta learn what Wi-Fi repeaters are, could only get usable internet in about 1 square meter of the room.

We rested in 2019, we are very pleased with the attitude of the owners: attentive, calm, ready to help with any issue. The hotel is located near the sea (5 minutes walk) and not far from the center, where there is a supermarket and public transport interchange. Thanks to this, you can get to know the nearest cities: Varna, Golden Sands. The place itself - St. Constantine and Helena - is amazingly beautiful...

The hotel is located right by the beach in a very calm area

This hotel is large and in a great position, being so close to the beach and having a great view of the sea. However, that's as far as it goes. We booked half board and granted there was plenty of food to eat, but the same fare was offered each day. The reception staff were polite, and the cleaning staff were friendly; shame I can't say the same for the restaurant staff, who watch you like hawks....

Such a great location, good food, great service. But maybe the worst rooms I've ever seen. Old, decrepit, with spider webs, cracks, ants... The photos you see on websites and booking are of the best rooms, but out of 5 rooms that my group had, all of them had either these issues, or bad sewer smell. "ANIMATION TEAM" these people are just bestial, friendlier and funnier people you only see in movies. What they do for the hotel is amazing, I learned their dance in just 2 days, they do their job well and due to the argument given above I think they deserve 5 stars. Ivo the animator was an amazing entertaining Guy for his age. I m glad that i've met him. He's doing a great job here. Although the hotel was pretty nice. It was close to the beach and I liked that alot. Presi the animator was the whole heart of the eveniments and them needs a rise.

The actual rate for me is 3.5 stars ! Everything is ok 👌! The food is good the rooms are ok and the staff is helpful! Don't forget that the price is the key for what you get ! We as a family of 2 adults and 3 kids for all inclusive payed very competitive price! And this hotel also provides shuttle to the beach and back every 30 minutes! Overall very good family hotel with solid 3.5 stars !

Fantastic for the kids (sides, pools, animation / kids club, trampolines etc), great beach nearby. However service, cleanliness of the property, food/service was okay. We would not return due to how crowded everything was - difficult to walk through Pool lounges, dinning areas, reception etc. Felt like sardines crammed into a small space most of the time.

Very nice and clean hotel, about 300 m from the beach, good food (the best vegetable cream soup I've had so far!) and diverse. Free access to the hotel's water park, outdoor pool with water slides (also has a shallow area for children), wellness center with hot tub, sauna, heated indoor pool. This is a great hotel for families with kids. It is located next to Aquapark hotel and the guests can use both facilities for free. Each hotel has pools and water slides. One of the best and high vfm hotels in the golden sands Varna. 5 minutes to the beach, new rooms, service is very good, all included, various food that suites for anyone, including vegan, clean and safe pools and spa. Lots of slides for kids, big gaming zone for all ages, billiard, pingpong etc. Arraingements with travel companies for tours, ex. jeep tours. Excellent vacation for reasonable price.

The hotel was ok for the money. The food was average. It wasn't that far from the beach. I didn't like the parking situation. They charge you 20 leva/day for what? Parking in the street? Also they tried to charge me for 6 days when I only had 5 full days. It didn't work (for them), but I had to argument a lot about it. And for hotel's management, if you're reading this... I don't know why you're not...

I must edit My review beacause hotel really tried to fix something for us when asked politely. All is good for vegetarians but not for vegans. The Hotel per se was really pretty. We liked the Hotel complex with the pool. We were 3 people staying there for a week. The room was big enough for us and was quiet comfy. The AC was great. It looks medium class hotel. Food some days was good, some days very bad... Location a little bit far from beach, but its no problem, because hotel have van who can bring to the beach evry hour. We got good room, big and clean. I think you get evrything for this price, but I will not come here again, because I saw better hotels for this price in Golden sands

Bellow average hotel at Golden Sands. This resort use to be beautiful sea side place in a forest next to the beaches now just hotels next to other hotel extremely noisy and full with drunks

Very satisfied, especially with the food and views. Recommend. Star down: terrace bar closes at 10 PM and you have to go to the lobby bar, which is, given the nearby sea, far less attractive place. Possible quiet time is not a legitimate excuse as all the clubs nearby blast music well after 2 AM. Massive usage of single-use plastic and paper cups.

Not a 4-star-hotel. I stayed at the hotel in 2021. Great location, spacious rooms with balconies and good wifi. Breakfast is disastrous (we were all very glad we hadn't gotten the all-inclusive package). On a rainy day we went to see the spa, which is 2 working saunas and an indoor-pool. Closing times at 19:00 hs are questionable though. That's it, I hope this helps you decide! ;)

The food was Bland. Sunny Beach was good place to relax. The people in Bulgaria are fine. Food and grocery are expensive! However, Hotel Shipka did not offer any night entertainment or excursions tours. The Shipka hotel was quiet and peaceful. I give Hotel Shipka only 3⭐.

It could have been a perfect stay if it wasn't for the food, which was disgusting. The service is incredible - the staff is extremely kind, they greet you when they see you and care about what you want. The hotel rooms are modern and spacious and the open balconies are nice and sunny with lots of place to sit and a great view. It would have been too good to be true if the food was at least bearable...

Stayed in one of the 2 larger 2 room apartment and loved the huge terrace balcony. Rooms were clean but carpet starting to show age. Food was good if a bit repetitive on the vegetable options. Main courses ranged from ok to great. It is a bit of a walk to beach, about 10 minutes to the free Riviera beach zones.

We came here for the second time and we had an amazing trip. There's nothing that we didn't like. Absolute gem of a hotel and experience - quiet, affordable with incredible park and brand new pool! Approximately 15m by car from Varna and 5 from Golden sands! The staff was super kind and helpful when we needed directions and the food was amazing. Our rooms were clean and bright, we woke up with the sunrise above the coast!

Very nice, not really 4 stars, but 3+. The pool is nice, execpting the music in the afternoons - manele and very cheap traditional romanian music, very loud, unpleasent for us ... The Sofia Hotel beach was also nice, the food ok, pizza was only with meat, but they have good vegetarian options.

Most of activities of hotel werent even avaliable. Only thing that was avaliable was one table for table tennis. Outside pool closes too soon. Animators and staff of hotel were nice and helpfull. Food was mediocre i dont recommend eating fish.

I only give 3 stars for the front desk who was very friendly and helpful. But 1 star for the open buffet, wich is not that open 😒 i don t want a full plate, to eat like a peasent, but they put food on your plate like they give you from their children food. Perfect view on the see from the balcony in 5th floor. I liked the Bulgarian salad and beer in the restaurant. The rest of the food is rather not interesting. Warning, it is quite far from beach and the hotel equipment is rather poor.

The room that I stayed was big and comfortable(specially the beds).The hotel staff was awesome they help me with all my questions and requests.The food was varied and delicious.Area around the swimming pool was perfect because of the all inclusive bar and the nature which is surrounding it.I recommend this hotel because of the relaxing mood.Next year I will come again!!!

Rooms are nice, staff is friendly. I didn't liked that if you don't have all inclusive, prices for food and beverages are pretty high, so if you don't plan on getting an all inclusive stay, I recommend you eat at other restaurants, Casa Ole for example, which is pretty close to the hotel and has very good food at a very good price. :)
