Apartment Hotels in Golden Sands

We spend 6 days in this hotel. The food was good, everyday you can find something new to eat , the room is big, clean and it's equipped with balcony. They have an outdoor pool with pool bar. The beach it is at 5 minute walk. Overall we enjoy the experience in Golden Sands and apartment Hotel Golden Line it is a good place to stay if you are spending the holiday there or if you just passing by.

Good place to stay. Room spacious, cleaned every day. Big pool and food to choose from. Drinks, not so good in my opinion as we had all inclusive and they only serve syrup with water as juice, instant coffee and as for beer and wine , also come in draft and are not so good. SO, thumbs up for the hotel, but only with breakfast not all inclusive.

Great clean space. Ideal for a getaway! Doesn't have a lot of space for your clothes, but if you're here for up to a week, it's perfect!!! A++

Cannot begin to describe the experience. Great rooms, great food, amazing staff, shoutout to Angel and Eli in particular. The pool is amazing and the animators make it a great, fun experience overall!! Will come here again for sure!!!

They are located in the Splendid complex together with the Romance Hotel. The apartment is renovated and has everything you need. No cleaning, that's your concern. I think at this price it is more than good.

Probably the nicest place (in terms of room) that we stayed in in all of Bulgaria. Places like this gotta learn what Wi-Fi repeaters are, could only get usable internet in about 1 square meter of the room.

We rested in 2019, we are very pleased with the attitude of the owners: attentive, calm, ready to help with any issue. The hotel is located near the sea (5 minutes walk) and not far from the center, where there is a supermarket and public transport interchange. Thanks to this, you can get to know the nearest cities: Varna, Golden Sands. The place itself - St. Constantine and Helena - is amazingly beautiful...

The hotel has nice rooms, sufficiently large with spacious and well-equipped bathrooms. However, the restaurant could offer a wider selection of dishes. I recommend using the Al Dente restaurant and placing an order to your room (once per stay). Unfortunately, the hotel has a shortage of pools, which are therefore overcrowded most of the time. Fortunately, there is also a large indoor pool available...

2 things that I do not like: 1. The tourists that leave their towels in the sunbeds to “occupy” their seat. Maybe you should consider making a beach only for level tourists. 2. The cocktails have a weird taste in a paper cup. Maybe you should consider serving them in glasses.

It is a beautiful hotel, perfect for a family vacation. The rooms are spacious and very clean, every day they come to clean and change the towels. The food is good and varied. They have artistic programs every day, clean pools, quality sunbeds and in 2 minutes you reach the beach. Hotel staff is very kind. We felt wonderful, we will definitely come back.

Hotel is rather dated. The room was clean enough but nothing special. We chose ‘the level’ and were glad that we did. It gave us access to a separate pool (the main pool was overcrowded and there were not enough sunbeds. There was constant music pumping out from speakers there as well). Rooms are big and very clean. Big bathroom and good toiletries. Staff is friendly and speaks good English. Limited parking available and quite expensive. Food is not so good, basically the cheapest ingredients available. There is lots of it but you can barely find something which tastes good. Drinks are the usual Bulgarian all-inclusive standard which means poor quality. The swimming pools are nice...

The food was very repetitive over the course of a week and also the food did not taste very well. The hadd very few vegetarian alternatives, which resulted in some people almost only eating fries for the duration of the stay.

The hotel is big and outdated, the swimming pool is big and nice but we didn’t use it as it was still cold. The indoor pool was nice and clean. Our room seemed to have been renovated, but our floor’s surface was bumpy and was uncomfortable to walk barefoot, there was a carpet but I suppose that with the bumps can’t be properly cleaned. Such a great location, good food, great service. But maybe the worst rooms I've ever seen. Old, decrepit, with spider webs, cracks, ants... The photos you see on websites and booking are of the best rooms, but out of 5 rooms that my group had, all of them had either these issues, or bad sewer smell. I'll let the photos speak for themselves.

"ANIMATION TEAM" these people are just bestial, friendlier and funnier people you only see in movies. What they do for the hotel is amazing, I learned their dance in just 2 days, they do their job well and due to the argument given above I think they deserve 5 stars. "THE BARMANS" are also very good people and very friendly and they also deserve 5 stare

The hotel was ok for the money. The food was average. It wasn't that far from the beach. I didn't like the parking situation. They charge you 20 leva/day for what? Parking in the street? Also they tried to charge me for 6 days when I only had 5 full days. It didn't work (for them), but I had to argument a lot about it. And for hotel's management, if you're reading this... I must edit My review beacause hotel really tried to fix something for us when asked politely. All is good for vegetarians but not for vegans. It looks medium class hotel. Food some days was good, some days very bad... Location a little bit far from beach, but its no problem, because hotel have van who can bring to the beach evry hour. We got good room, big and clean. I think you get evrything for this price, but I will not come here again, because I saw better hotels for this price in Golden sands

It's a great value hotel, the rooms are big and clean, plenty of food and drinks, there is a nice pool. My taste in food and the bulgarian taste are not the same but this is not something that I can hold against them. At the same time the food variety it's not great, almost the same thing every breakfast, lunch, dinner. You mustn't expect something extraordinary but always keep in mind the price paid...

Absolute gem of a hotel and experience - quiet, affordable with incredible park and brand new pool! Approximately 15m by car from Varna and 5 from Golden sands! The staff was super kind and helpful when we needed directions and the food was amazing. Our rooms were clean and bright, we woke up with the sunrise above the coast!

A bit away from the beach but a fine place

The rooms are OK, the hotel is understaffed.. So the services are slow. The biggest letdown is that is far away from the beach, and there are no roadsigns to guide you and the roads are quite convoluted.

Very nice, not really 4 stars, but 3+. The pool is nice, execpting the music in the afternoons - manele and very cheap traditional romanian music, very loud, unpleasent for us ... The Sofia Hotel beach was also nice, the food ok, pizza was only with meat, but they have good vegetarian options.

Most of activities of hotel werent even avaliable. Only thing that was avaliable was one table for table tennis. Outside pool closes too soon. Animators and staff of hotel were nice and helpfull. Food was mediocre i dont recommend eating fish.

Bellow average hotel at Golden Sands. This resort use to be beautiful sea side place in a forest next to the beaches now just hotels next to other hotel extremely noisy and full with drunks

Weak beach bar. No snacks with drinks. Inappropriate delivery hours for towels. No electric kettle in the room.

Very satisfied, especially with the food and views. Recommend. Star down: terrace bar closes at 10 PM and you have to go to the lobby bar, which is, given the nearby sea, far less attractive place. Possible quiet time is not a legitimate excuse as all the clubs nearby blast music well after 2 AM. Massive usage of single-use plastic and paper cups.

Not a 4-star-hotel. I stayed at the hotel in 2021. Great location, spacious rooms with balconies and good wifi. Breakfast is disastrous (we were all very glad we hadn't gotten the all-inclusive package). On a rainy day we went to see the spa, which is 2 working saunas and an indoor-pool. Closing times at 19:00 hs are questionable though. That's it, I hope this helps you decide! ;)

We're having an excellent time at Kamchia Park Hotel. Great place to spend your holidays for both families and couples. Very friendly staff, always smiling and very helpful with any questions (coming from a person who asks a lot of questions 😊). Very clean rooms and good diverse food. Fully recommend it!!

The food was excellent, they have a big range of food options and I loved it. The bed was very comfortable and I was pleased at how big the pool is.

4 stars for a 4 star hotel. They should really make it a 5 star. Everything was great, the only thing that was and is horrible and must be changed is the parking service. You pay 20 BGN per day for parking. When you arrive, you wait for one of the workers to bring a car, and then you drive after him (following) until you get to the parking lot of all of Grifid Hotels, there you park it, and go back...

Very nice and clean hotel, about 300 m from the beach, good food (the best vegetable cream soup I've had so far!) and diverse. Free access to the hotel's water park, outdoor pool with water slides (also has a shallow area for children), wellness center with hot tub, sauna, heated indoor pool. One of the best and high vfm hotels in the golden sands Varna. 5 minutes to the beach, new rooms, service is very good, all included, various food that suites for anyone, including vegan, clean and safe pools and spa. Lots of slides for kids, big gaming zone for all ages, billiard, pingpong etc. Arraingements with travel companies for tours, ex. jeep tours. Excellent vacation for reasonable price.

Low quality food and drinks, small restaurant unable to accommodate all the guests, the areas around the swimming pools were very slippery and wet, not enough towels provided for the swimming pools. The view from our room was the parking above the main entrance. The hotel is dirty, noisy and crowded.

This place has a lot of good things, but given the price and areas of improvements, only 3 stars. Areas for improvement: - better room cleaning - don't overcook all the meat - some of the driest meat in my life was here - don't overcook all the veggies - animation group needs to be more pushy for sports. They're too lax. - the elevators are the slowest I've used in the last 20 years....

Air-condition works only when you are in the room. Breakfest is served in many tables and there isn't room for everybody... Few of staff only speaks engilsh... Bulgarian people are rude

It could have been a perfect stay if it wasn't for the food, which was disgusting. The service is incredible - the staff is extremely kind, they greet you when they see you and care about what you want. The hotel rooms are modern and spacious and the open balconies are nice and sunny with lots of place to sit and a great view. Stayed in one of the 2 larger 2 room apartment and loved the huge terrace balcony. Rooms were clean but carpet starting to show age. Food was good if a bit repetitive on the vegetable options. Main courses ranged from ok to great. It is a bit of a walk to beach, about 10 minutes to the free Riviera beach zones.

We booked the all inclusive experience, and for the money we paid, I believe it was very good. Yes, the bathroom was very small and there was a bad smell sometimes, but only inside the bathroom, in the room there was no smell. The food was very good, we had diversity and the quality was ok, not too fancy, but very tasty. The pool big and water was warm, and the air conditioning in the room worked fine...

The hotel offers all inclusive. Rooms are clean but the hotel is definitely not 3 stars. Elevators are claustrophobic with room for a couple max. Overall I recommend the hotel. Prisewise it was quite reasonable.

Brilliant hotel staff are very friendly and welcoming also always happy to help. In a week staying here I felt as though if any issues arose, it would be solved swiftly (however no issues arose).
