Erma in Golden Sands

This is about the beach next to hotel Erma not the hotel. There is a likely scam here with sunchairs! A guy asked me for 42 Lev for sunbed + parasoll. Ofcourse I didn't pay I just left but still this is not an ok behavior and if the hotel reads this perhaps they will speak to the insane sunchairs man taking extraordinary prices...

Honestly, me and my family got all bitten by bed bugs in our beds. The beds were hard as sleeping on the floor. You could hear the neighbours flush and even talking. The cleaners hardly cleaned the rooms and people could smoke where ever the want even though “it was a smoke free hotel”

The hotell had great wifi. The cleaning ladies came everyday. There was lots of restaurants and markers closest available.
Very close to the beach. Close to the «Main» areas of golden sands.
Could not hear other people in their rooms

You could hear people in the hallways and outside. Our stove didnt work (we stayed in an apartment) we told the reception, and got no help. They didnt send anyone to come fix it, Even tho they told us someone would come.
The beds are a bit hard, but ok. The elevators would on and off not work. We stayed in the 8th floor. We had to use the stairs multiple times. The elevator buttons wouldnt always work, the elevator doors didnt always work. Sometimes the elevators would work but the doors would not shut completely.

We got to the hotell at night time. The reception took our passports, and would not give it back til the next day. All the passports were out in the open and they didnt have much controll.

The Storage area for luggage was wide open. It was in a corner in the lobby. No lock or barrier for the luggage.

My god. Where to start? We arrived around 1.30 pm and the reseption would not start helping us... because they were starting at 2 pm. so they kinda just stood there. When we FINALLY got our room, the cleaning lady (very sweet btw) tried to explain that we had to wait about 10 minutes before she was done. Cool enough, right? So we got to put our luggage in, and when we got back... our Whole bathroom sink, was broken, like the underneath part, was just out, had a big crack and dirt everywhere i . the bathroom floor. The cleaninglady said "oh the handymen left" and didnt know when they would be back. so we took a picture of the sink, went back down to the reseption, and showed them. They were like "oh. thats not good..." and we asked them if maybe we could change our rooms. "no. not possible. at all. wait 20 minutes, before the handymen get back to fix it." FINE. so we start to just, get ready to get down to the beach, and lord behold, there are the handymen, just walking on in while were smearing sunscreen all over ourselves, to continue their work. They fixed it, thank god, but this was like, just our first day there!! Later into the week, cleaning ladies, didnt do a great job. Floors were still dirty when we came back. They would vaccum other balconies, beside ours, so it was just full of sand. our sink was never washed, so it was always kinda gross. Their breakfast is OK, the food was just OK, nothing really speacial, and it would NEVER be enough seating for everyone. people would stand eating their food, because they could find a place to sit.
We werent much at the hotel, because it wasnt nice to be there. Only good things were nice taxi drivers standing outside of the hotel, and that they have a tattoo shop/convenientstore/hairdresser right in the hotel. Other little positive side, the pool on the 4th floor was nice. Nice people there. only good thing about the trip.

All in all --- No, wouldnt want to go back there.

The hotel is very cheap through booking. There are 2 swimming pools and several bars, even a sky bar. The rooms are clean and big ( 1 bedroom and 1 kitchen + 1 living room). Good location in the city. Nevertheless I thinks it was my worst restaurant experience ever. Bad quality products, very expensive dinner. Do not even try it! Better to have lunch and dinner outside the hotel!
