Nice Hotel, but few people working at the reception desk have very impolite behavior in front of Hotel guests! It's an incredible location in Hamburg with a staff always willing to help. However, the room lacked an electric kettle, which I'm just used to being in a hotel room, and neither the HDMI nor the casting worked on the TV. Minor details, but very important for some. All that being said, I thoroughly enjoyed my stay!

Nice hotel but probably better suit to a younger clientele. The hotel is nice and the rooms are great but the location is far away from the city. At the time we stayed there, there were considerable road works around the hotel which made access difficult and getting in and out cumbersome.

A 2 night stay at the Innside Hamburg Hafen was a pleasant one. It was a work trip for me so it hit the mark. The staff were excellent on reception, the rooms were clean and a decent size with AC and windows that open slightly. The breakfast was good with lots of healthy options. The Barcelo is located about 5 minutes walk from the main train station but in a quiet area. The rooms themselves are very clean, ultra modern and elegantly decorated in light colours. Modern hotel conveniently located near highway 7 ( direct access to Denmark ). Clean and well presented. It's a good hour walk to Elbphilharmonie Hamburg. Would like to have had more time to explore, but this was only a one night stop on route to Sweden. Happy to book again some time in the future.

We had a "serviced room", which was clean and had everything we needed. I half-expected rooms to be cleaned (daily), but it was not. Good location, we got everywhere with the readily available scooters (bolt, volt, jolt, lime, etc)

Overall, this was a good hotel. Very clean and well maintained. Staff were friendly and attentive. Nice touches in the room and around the hotel. We stayed in a wheelchair accessible room in this hotel for a long weekend and were very happy. There is a disabled-parking bay right in fron tof the entracne just for the hotel, but it also has a direct bus connection with a station at the doorstep to Hamburgs main train-station and the old town. Very comfortable and quiet hotel for a good price. It is a bir far from the city center, but don’t worry, because you can easily take the bus 5 to Hbf or change to subway U3 to reach popular spots. I can recommend this hotel as a solo traveler.

Mixed review The team and service is fantastic They were also able to have me back after my flight got cancelled and team was so nice I realize this is very personal and different for everyone. During check-in waited for 30+ minutes. 2 employees helping one group check-in rather than help the rest. During check out waited 15+ minutes. Maybe they still use hieroglyphs in their computer system. And the pillows were just glorified blankets rolled up in a ball.

Very friendly and helpful receptionist ( the female one, curly hair); stylish internal design, and it's a short bus trip from the centre train station. Free hot drink is definitely a bonus.

It takes more than ten minutes to walk to Hamburg Central Station. The hotel has a very stylish design. You can check in by yourself, but the program is not easy to use. The room felt spacious and the decor was cool, with a Hamburg-inspired industrial vibe. I borrowed a kettle from the front desk, and the service was excellent and it was brought to me immediately. There's a supermarket nearby. The only downside is the maze of intersections and the easy mistake of crossing the street. This is a perfectly practical Hotel, a bit off the beaten track, but only a 15-20 min walk from the more central places o f Hamburg. The quarrell you migh have is that the aircondition was sub par, particularly considering the hot days/evenings of July. Breakfast was good, but crazy crowdy after 9 (first day), but almost empty pre-8.

Huge mistake. We choose this place with friends to spend couple nights during Euro2024. Unfortunately it was a huge mistake. The bed is comfortable - that’s all of the pros list. No kettle to make coffee or tea in hotel room, even not a free bottle of water! You can choose water from minibar for 5€. Coffee in the lobby at 12:00? Impossible… Main restaurant is closed after breakfast, and lobby bar starts...

A hotel suitable for 1-2 day stays.

We had a nice stay, everything was super clean. We found the room a bit small for 4 people (2 adults 2 kids). Sofa bed wasn’t made so we called reception and someone came within 5MINS to fix this for us. We found the breakfast very expensive (78€ for 2 adults 2 children). There was obviously a good variety of food but still didn’t justify the price. We went around the corner the next day and had breakfast...

Good ambience, near to railway station (hauptbahnhof) satisfactory service. Clean rooms, clean toilets and good maintenance most importantly very hygienic.

Clean and calm. Takes time to get to hauptbahnhof, if the buses aren’t on time you will get annoyed! Recommend to people who want to spend most the day in city center.

clean, rooms are not the biggest but enough, staff are helpful, city center and Hauptbahnhof are only one bus ride away, bus stop is 200m away, there's a kiosk around the corner, you'd easily find a place to park the car for free all in all a good deal for the price

Room was clear, the bed and pillows were good. The bathroom was clean as well. It takes 15 min by bus to get the city center. I recomend as a stay for tourists, who spends all day in the city.

We just went for 1 night to get back to Denmark. and as usual it was a nice experience. The room are fantastic, nice design and modern style. The hotel, bar and restaurant are also with a nice design and style. Staff is friendly. The only suggestion that I can give is to increase the intensity of light in the room, the light are to soft that to looking inside my baggage I used the torch of my phone.

Staff is polite, room and hotel are clean. Rooms were cleaned with fresh towels, beds made and tea and instant coffee replenished. Did not make use of gym, sauna or food, but these are all available.

Please invest in some better irons as the current ones don’t do the job properly.

One of the best hotel experiences I have ever had. Everything was perfect.

This hotel is excellent. It has a very old English feel which makes you feel comfortable. That, plus the very friendly and helpful service-orientated nature of the staff made this stay very pleasant indeed. The amenities are also comfortable, the food is excellent and there is plenty of space to relax.

Location: Bus stop in front of the hotel. You can reach the central station in half an hour. The hotel is quite clean, though the hotel itself is a bit old. The design of the bedside lamp is very uncomfortable. It’s not on the side but at the back of the bed. You may hurt your head or back if you want to leaning. We don’t have the time to enjoy the sauna or fitness so nothing to share about this.

Convenient transportation and good service

I'm glad I ignored the bad reviews because the place is pretty good for the price. Yes, bathrooms are small and the room is basic but the beds are comfortable and considering the central location and busy flow of hotel guests it was very quiet and we slept well. The area can be a bit scary, but it was well policed and the station is basically on th doorstep which helps.

The hotel is very much like many other “standard type” hotels, but everything was just better than we were used to. Large quiet rooms, excellent beds and bathroom and good service. We tried the restaurant for the included breakfast which was okay but probably something we would skip another time

I booked the Madison because of the great reviews and compared to other top hotels the room rate was reasonable. It’s easy to reach via u/s-Bahn. A lot of attractions are in walking distance. The hotel is super clean, my room was big and bright with a view of the Michel. So nothing to complain, would come back. And if u like tea (like me) housekeeping will give you lots of tea.
