Pela Maria Hotel

The hotel is average at the most. The best thing is breakfast, other meals are good only if you have nothing else to eat. It is a good jump point to explore Crete, so to sleep and eat breakfast, nothing else. Now on the bad side.... I was staying there with my girlfriend and one night we decided to play pool, located in the lobby. After we started playing, the old blonde "hag", who scans guests over the reseption table, like a radar scanning for incoming enemy aircraft, came to us and told us that we can not play pool after 11 o'clock p.m. so that the guests may sleep. It was 9 o'clock p.m. and we had no intention playing more than one game. But when it comes to handling drunken guests having loud debates in front of other guests rooms at 2 o'clock a.m. the hotel will not and I repeat WILL NOT do a single thing about it and I can assure you that the four German guests were so loud that they were heard through all the hotel all the way to the reception desk. Do not come here if you wish to have a good night sleep.
