Nice hotel if you want to relax in calm and clean appartment with pool, near to the beach and restaurants. In thr center of small place with some shops, 15 min by bus to the Rethymno. I love Crete ❤️

It was our first trip to Crete and Ariadne Hotel was a very good host. Super friendly and helpful staff, very clean, nice swimming pool, 2 minutes walk from the beach. 5 km away from the old city of Rethymno (waiting for the local bus can take up to one hour ), but plenty of good restaurants right next to the hotel.

It is a lovely hotel with a very good location and with nice staff. Our room and the hotel was clean, altough the furnitures in the rooms are old. For me the shower was a little bit uncomfortable, and the bed was noisy, but it's totally worth it for the price. In my opinion the breakfast was not very tasty, the eggs and the cold meals (salami etc) were not good, the coffe from the machine is bad. So...

This place is a hidden gem. Located right in the city center, but in a quiet street, it is a beautiful building, with large rooms and a nice pool in the courtyard. The chairs in the courtyard area are perfect for relaxing and chilling while listening to the water trickling (if you are not swimming). The breakfast is good. The staff is warm and welcoming. The check-out at noon is a bonus

Currently here on an 11 night stay, we have a one bed apartment which is very spacious always clean and tidy. The staff are wonderful and always there when needed. The beach is less then a minutes walk away where you can hire 2×sunbeds and an umbrella for 5 euros for the whole day. Two small food shops are on the doorstep while a 15 min walk away is a large supermarket. I would definitely recommend...

Just had a week at this hotel with all the family. The staff were lovely, George, Ella and Mrs Joanna. They could not have done more to help in the circumstances. Plenty of beers and cocktails at the bar served by Ella and a great time was had by all. Nice quiet location off the main road. my dear i recently spent holidays in crete. I stayed with my wife and two children at the Bueno Hotel. We were greeted by a nice old lady, probably the mother of the owner. The hotel itself is worth three stars. nice service by the poolside bar. in the evening nice Eli poured cold beer and treated peanuts and chips. My Sister and I stayed for 3 weeks. The accommodation is basic, (what we expect in Greece) clean and comfortable. Rooms cleaned, sheets and towels changed, every other day. Reception wasn't open on arrival in the early hours. Our 2 bedroom apartment had been swapped for a room with 4 single beds which was baking hot with no air con. We stayed in Argo for 7 nights, no major criticisms, but there was always room for improvement. The staff were friendly and the transport links were great. Calm, no families, great for couples, at the end of the beach walk, not much traffic heard only if you have a room toward the side road. Some things is a bit run down by age, wifi doesn't reach the apartments at the far back since the router is at the reception, electricity can be tricky in some apartments.... but if you look for a chill and calm vacay - sun, bath, chill. This could be your spot!

We stayed in this hotel for 10 days. The hotel very friendly to families with children. Rooms very clean, cleaned daily every day. Change of towels with new ones every day. Very friendly, polite and helpful staff. Breakfast tasty and the products are fresh. Every now and then you can listen to live music in the bar, we had a great rock band. I highly recommend

Thank you Axos team! We had a fantastic 5 days right at the start of the summer season. From the moment we arrived we were welcomed with open arms. Whilst it’s definitely the people who make the place so fantastic, the rooms were bright and clean with everything you could want for a self-catered holiday. Breakfast included was also a very welcome addition!

Staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The breakfast was great. The pool area was awesome. The location was near to the beach and there were plenty of shops and eating places nearby. After checkout I was able to use the pool area and there was a complimentary change area to use before we went to the airport.

A very reasonably price establishment but excellent value for money in a superb central location. A small room but totally functional. Everything you need for a 1 night a short stay. We stayed here for two nights. The location in the old town is great, everything is near. The room was clean, with everything you need, even the iron. Wifi was great. One notice to people with car, you can park for free about 5-10 minutes from a hotel, there is parking space by the street right below the fortress. Also, there are paid parkings nearby.

Before arriving at the hotel I fell down on a hard tiled floor and hurt my knee and face. The hotelroom we booked was on the second floor which was a bit difficult with my knee. If you are looking for an affordable stay for your Rethymno vacation Melitti Hotel is a good choice. The hotel is what you would expect from a two star hotel. The rooms are okey with decent pantry, a balcony and basic utilities. The cons with the rooms are the bathrooms which are poorly cared for, the showers were dirty and the bathroom began to reek quickly. The AC did work but could use more maintenance...

We have been back 4 times because it's a very, lovely place indeed, Manolis and Nikki are lovely and look after all your needs . It's quiet but only 5 minutes walk from tavernas and your usual holiday shops .

Back here after 3 years and it's still as wonderful. Manolis and Niki are superb hosts. The rooms are light, modern and airy. Great aircon and comfortable beds, lovely breakfast. Lots of bars and tavernas within a 5 to 10 minute walk but Evelin has a well stocked and reasonably priced bar and does daytime snacks up till 3pm. There is a Lidl across the road but you aren't aware of it when you're in...

We haven't stayed to their Hotel but we did use sun-beds. The best service we've found on Rethymno beach, prices of drinks are reasonable and you can get extra umbrella if needed. Staff is also really friendly, we will come to this place again!

I stayed in the hotel for only three nights but i can tell for sure that it was one of the greatest experience i have had of a hotel. Didn't stay at the hotel, but used their beach. They have awesome service, comfortable beds and large umbrellas (with thick cloth, so the shade is great, unlike some other beaches around), with free extra smaller umbrella. Everything is free, you only pay for the drinks/food, which are normally priced.

We stayed at superior studio annex (renovated) ,it is a little bit noisy because it s near the main street.The owner was friendly and helped us with any problems we encountered. As a suggestion, an insect net in the bathroom would be necessary.

Old hotel, but very clean thanks to the wonderful staff and owners. I've never experienced such caring staff in any hotel till now. The view from the hotel balcony is amazing, especially during the sunset.

This is a little beauty of a hotel. Quirky architecture. Really friendly. Right on the beach. The road outside is a bit of a challenge for pedestrians as it is a major easy west link for Rethymnon but once inside you are in a very nice place. Three levels of complimentary sunbeds to the sandy safe beach.

Loved this place!! Wanted to stay longer. The service was amazing and our host was TOO kind. He carried out suitcases, got us a cab, gave plenty of directions and recommendations.
