We had a wonderful week at this hotel. Room was good with a lovely sea view. In particular Michalis who greeted us when we arrived was very helpful and welcoming. Great location with the beach just across the road. Would not hesitate to recommend it.

we've been to the hotel for six days in August. after I've made the order, i've seen some bad reviews regarding the rooms condition. So we came a bit concerned. But i can say just the opposite, the room we got was in a good condition. (sea view apartment) It wasn't build yesterday, but everything was fine, and I absolutely don't think it's out dated. It is difficult to express my thoughts on this hotel. I will start with the positives. A good location . Friendly and helpful staff . Rooms were outdated , but clean , no tea or coffee facilities in the rooms , no iron in the room . And the food is where this hotel is really lacking . Room temperature at best. Over cooked, and if you have food allergies, it's a no-no .

Stayed here with the Mrs for 8 nights/ 9 days on a jet 2 holiday package. 2 minor negatives - room’s were small on the restaurant side, which I think anyone booking through jet 2 were given, secondly the breakfast was not ideal for British people but there were not a lot of brits in Rethymno (not a bad thing lol). Fabulous central hotel with great staff and amenities. Everything on hand for a chilled and pleasant stay. Only negative is the rooms are not well soundproofed.. but the cleanliness, location, quality of service, food service, very comfy bed and general ambiance more than makes up for.

Great hotel, very central, worth the price and very kind staff! Especially Maria from the restaurant was very kind and made our stay very pleasant, always checking in with us if we needed anything and nice talks every day. At Jo-An Palace you feel welcome from the moment you come in. The staff is helpful and kind, especially the people at the restaurant and the front desk. The hotel was unprepared as neither of our two rooms were ready and instead we were put in a different room which was barely up to standard. The next day we were supposed to get our rooms after 10:00 but they have pushed back the time every time we asked. Just choose a different hotel.

I stayed in this hotel for a week mid-August and it was one of the best vacations I’ve ever had! Obviously, the rooms have everything you need and are very clean and modern. Very relaxing message. Almost fell asleep before the end! The girls were very nice and friendly. Very warm in Greece but the air conditioning kept me cool. Would recommend to anyone looking to relax by the sea. My partner really enjoyed it also.

We stayed in June in this hotel. Hotel is on excellent location, 5km to town Retimno. Renovated and nice looking hotel. Little minus is rooms, they are little spaced bud still manageable. Every day they clean the rooms, everything it's tidy and clean. There is a crib for the baby, and you can ask kitchen staff to cook specially for the baby. Staff is amazing! The hotel could use a bit of renovation, but its location—and above all, the kind and attentive staff—more than make up for any shortcomings. The location of the hotel is very good, the food is good (not many choices but still good), however the rooms are not the best (kinda old, the roof is damaged) and the towels comes dirty, changed every 3 days.

Best location, good breakfast, big beds

This is already my fourth stay at this hotel, and once again, everything has been perfect. A heartfelt thank you to the hotel staff for always considering my preferences and making sure I feel welcome. Hotel staff are friendly. Food is delicious and I can't wait to come again! The hotel is also 5 minutes from the beach. The only thing that I can comply is on the loud street noice that comes from the outside, late at night and on earling morning hours.

Nice hotel with amazing dinner and service. Best recommendations for location and service, but the rooms are standard value for price, nothing special but it's according to price. We had later flight at 1am, they gave us towels and place to put bagge when we are on the beach last day, before the transfer to airport.

For a 4* hotel the service was acceptable. The cleaners, receptionists and the food sevice staff were friendly but they could not compensate the food which was boring also needs to pay attention to little details on them. The hotel location is fine, close to the beach.

Summer Dream was literally that! The hotel is beautiful and the staff are all very friendly and helpful. We've had a very pleasant stay at Hotel Ideon for our holiday. Our first room had a very unpleasant smell, luckily we could transfer to another room as soon as possible. However, we had a room in the side building, rooms were pretty outdated here. The service of the staff was very pleasant, very friendly staff, especially at the front desk. Bar staff could be faster, drinks could take a while to arrive...

I stayed here for a couple of nights to explore the city before heading to a resort. The interior is beautifully designed with chic boho vibes, giving it the feel of a magazine-worthy 5-star hotel. It’s also extremely family-friendly – they provided a crib for our baby, and allowed us to check out an hour later at no extra charge to accommodate our child’s nap. Excellent service all around!

I was excited to book this hotel but.....as i write this I'm in the hotel room .... It's about four o'clock in the morning and I can not use the balcony cause the lights are insanely strong...i can not open the door not even for some fresh air.....at eleven o'clock i had asked if somehow they can dim the lights down so that i can sit and enjoy my time before i sleep...but no ....you can not enjoy...

It was our first time in Rethymno and we loved the Forest Park Hotel. The view while enjoying the delicious breakfast and dinner was amazing. The staff was very friendly and provided great service. I would book this hotel any time again for my next trip to Crete.

This is a great hotel, fantastic location and great service. Food is great, rooms are well equipped and clean, regular cleaning and towel changing. It’s a small hotel not crowded, very pleasant and quiet inside. The only downside is the traffic because the area is crowded with cars and motorcycles the whole night. Nice, modern place to spend our holiday. The rooms are clean, and the view from the sea side balcony is amazing. I happened to spend my birthday in Rethymno and they were kind enough to leave me a bottle of local wine as a gift. I highly recommend this place.

We just stayed there for the last 4 days and it was wonderful. Georgios is a great host and we felt like home at Olympia. The location is perfect, 2 min by feet to the sea and to many nice restaurants. The pool and pool bar are very cozy. Also the food was very good and I liked that it was so native. It was near to the beach and also near to the main road with shopping and bars, but very silent for a good sleep. Well what a hotel. The staff were excellent and very helpful. Organised most things for us. Rooms lovely and clean.Fantastic location.Would definitely recommend and will be returning.

1 minute to the main town but still peaceful tucked away down a quiet street. 30 seconds to a lovely sandy beach with one of the best sunsets I have seen.
