MOVIE MOVIE HOTEL

After some deliberation we booked this hotel as it was relatively budget friendly and looked nice and spacious. We knew it was slightly out of town, although it is close to Ciampino airport and only a 5 minute walk to the Metro, which gets you into the main part of Rome in 20 minutes
Given its location the hotel is light, airy and the rooms are of a decent size - it definitely has a 4 star feel to to it. The theme is great as its next to one of the largest film studios in Europe, which would certainly worth a visit.
Its a great base from which to have to trip to Rome from although on occasion (and with the Metro closing early due to upgrades) it sometimes would have felt more convenient to be in the centre of the city.
Check that breakfast is included (and it is decent) as ours wasn't even though the website suggested that it was. Have fun!

Location is a bit far out but I knew that when booking it. Good value compared to central Rome. Breakfast pretty mediocre for a Mercure. Room was nice and recently renovated.

Hotel is very nice and the staff are very helpful.
They have a small gym as well.
I didn’t love their breakfast. Also their laundry is not the best but the staff were very helpful and responsive.

Newly furnished rooms, spacious interior with themed styling. Plenty of parking. Nice bar.

High quality hotel. Only two disadvantages I have noticed during my stay: either AC or mattress topper were dirty as the dust was constantly in the air, causing problems with sneezing. Sencod thing was the smell of cham served during breakfast - please be sure it is fresh... Other than that very nice atmosphere and very professional service. I will come back there again.

Great design. Welcoming reception and staff. Charging station in hotel grounds. Not central and costs €32 by taxi each way to the centre of Rome.

Excellent modern hotel. Very clean. The interior was modern and pleasant, and rooms were very comfortable. The wifi worked very well for me apart from once or twice where it dropped out for a minute or two (but when it worked it was super fast).
The TV in the room isn’t smart so there’s no Netflix / YouTube, and you can’t cast from a device. Only cable channels.
The location is excellent - 2 minute walk to the Cinecetta studios and metro station, which goes every 3-4 minutes, and it takes about 18-20 minutes to get into the city.
Breakfast was quite good - scrambled eggs, bacon, sautéed vegetables, cheeses / hams, and fresh fruit and yoghurt. Decent coffee from a machine, too.

I really enjoyed my stay here. My meal from the Restaurant downstairs was so delicious! Onsite parking. Friendly staff. My first time in Italy, so I was tipping staff with American money, which I later learned has a high conversion rate, most all vendors will not accept, sorry guys! So close to the Metro, which is great! Less than 5 mins away. I recommend this hotel.

Perfect hotel if you visit Rome by car. The hotel owned parking spot is spacious and secure. The hotel is just 5 min by foot to the metro, which brings you straight to the most important sites in the city (around 20min ride).

We got lucky and had a super friendly lady at the check in counter.
