Petit Palace Lealtad Plaza, Madrid1 / 22

Madrid, Calle de Antonio Maura, 5 🧭 Map
Great location in Madrid near Retiro park and Atocha train station. The rooms are okay, standard hotel rooms, nothing fancy or luxurious. If you’ve stayed at any mid tier hotel chain, these rooms are the same. The staff are excellent and helpful. This is a perfect crash pad for Madrid since you’ll likely be out all day and just want a quiet place to sleep at night. Good value for the money.
My family and I had an absolutely wonderful time at Petit Palace Lealtad. The building and rooms were beautiful and the staff exemplary. I want to highlight three staff members, Fatima, Ray and Claudia, who made the stay truly special. Fatima overheard me mention to my wife that it was going to be our daughter’s third birthday during our stay. The next day, on her birthday when returning to our room...
The hotel is PERFECTLY nestled in the heart of Madrid that is walkable to every must-see spots. The location is in the quiet quarter of the busy Madrid City, very intimate. If given the chance to visit Madrid again, I would definitely book here again. The rooms are big and spacious, we are a family of 3. On our arrival day, Rey, was very helpful with our luggages! He came running out of the hotel...
Stayed in this hotel for 5 nights and will try to be unbiased. The good: location is great, room size is good for European hotels, cleaning service and breakfast are good. What can be improved: more hooks in the bathroom at the right places; mattresses should not be placed on a polished pedestal surface - they slip too easily; the beds should be of different size, not just singles jammed together;...
Lovely hotel! Claudia and Nicolas provided excellent service. I also received a cute birthday gift from the staff; it was a nice touch. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The property itself self is in quiet neighborhood, but prime location. It’s walking distance to all historic sites and Atocha station. I will definitely return on my next trip to Madrid.
An excellent hotel in a brilliant location next to Retiro park. The hotel staff are polite and attentive. The breakfast has a great buffet with several options including asking the staff for cooked options. The room was extremely clean and was always made up well by the staff with fresh coffee and water. The only downside was sometimes it was noisy, but this was mainly due to building work in the area...

Hotel Orfila was exactly what we needed for a comfortable, relaxing stay in Madrid. Every aspect of our stay was what we expected and, in fact, we were delighted to have arrived to our room to find a very good quality bottle of Rioja, flowers, and some chocolate cookies waiting for us. Best of all, the bed was comfortable and the room very quiet ensuring perfect sleep! It will be our choice when...
We really enjoyed our stay. Having visited several Relais hotels, this one strikes a great balance of comfort and friendliness. The property is beautiful, and the staff, both at reception and in the restaurant, were exceptionally helpful and welcoming. Parking is convenient on the road outside. Breakfast at the restaurant was excellent, though dinner fell short of the high standard set by the rest...
Excellent stay. The staff upgraded us to junior suite at check-in at no additional cost. Staff very accomodating. Helped us with restaurant reservations (making and cancelling as needed). The restaurant team was excellent as were the front desk personnel. A pleasure to be back again!
Our recent stay at Relais & Châteaux Hotel Orfila was nothing short of extraordinary. Traveling with three young children while pregnant can be challenging, but from the moment we arrived, the team at Orfila—especially Bruce at the front desk—made us feel not only welcomed, but truly cared for. Bruce went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect for our family. He anticipated our needs before...
Walking into Hotel Orfila after a long flight felt like we were walking into a beautiful home. Our room was stylishly decorated and had all the amenities we like. Excellent bed linens, bedside lighting, ample storage. Eating at the Terrace Restaurant was a joy. The staff were so attentive to all our needs. We hope one day to return.
Wonderful!! This is a gem of a hotel we want to return to tomorrow! It's a beautiful hotel with excellent rooms and unbeatable service. The manager, Alejandra, makes sure her team makes your stay a joy, from breakfast to dinner (which we unfortunately didn't enjoy, but everyone commented wonderfully). The breakfast waiters are true professionals, and the doormen brighten your day and provide excellent...

Amazing staff and wonderful location , room big and high ceilings makes place so comfortable , 10 out of 10
The breakfast is simple, but there are both sweet and salty options. The small balcony has a good view of the street. The decoration of the hotel is relatively retro.
Beautiful hotel, excellent location, first-class breakfast!! The best option for Madrid!! 😄👍🏼
Loved it here! Personnel was amazing, rooms and view pretty, location great. Got upgraded to a better room once we arrived and got a bottle of sparkling wine free of charge :) they also provided free water bottles in the mini bar! Would def come back :)
Really enjoyed our stay. Great room overlooking the street and had an amazing service during our stay in Nov. Really like how it’s close to the metro station which makes it easier to go back and forth while visiting Madrid.
What a stunning hotel, just beautiful architecture, from the little details like the stairwell and stained windows! Staff are so lovely and helpful! We had such a warm welcome and we upgraded to a premium corner room which is recommended! Fantastic views of the front fountains and lights! Love having a balcony with open doors too! Perfect location, easy to get to much activity around the city....very helpful front desk. Rooms were just right with comfortable beds and clean linens.
Fabulous place to stay if you want to be in the Middle of the tourist area. Next to Plaza Mayor and within walking distance of a lot of major attractions.
This was a great location right next to Plaza Mayor! The building itself has a bit of history and we actually woke up to a tour group taking pictures one morning lol. Staff was super helpful and friendly. And breakfast was delicious!

Lovely hotel in a great central area. The rooms are small so pay a little more for a street view and balcony it’s so fab to wake up and open the doors. Appreciate the free coffee pods replaced everyday and that breakfast is served until 12! Perfect for a weekend away solo or a couple.
Perfect location, 10mins walking to the city centre.
Location is good . Walking distance to many must visit spots.
Location: Good location, right at the T-junction, very close to Puerta del Sol, very convenient for subway travel; there is a good medium-sized supermarket diagonally opposite the left side of the hotel, with a wide variety of items. Room: The room is not big, but it is completely enough, the layout is very good, and I like the style; there are two floor-to-ceiling windows facing the inner courtyard...
The hotel is conveniently located to the subway station/different attractions such as the Grand Palace, museums, etc. The room was clean and generally comfortable. Didn't have a chance to try the hotel breakfast.

Location great, room not so much 2 nights in Madrid. Travelling as part of a longer trip with 2 mid sized the cases, the room was too small to open them at the same time. We had to store them closed on top of each other. I appreciate we didn't book a room with a terrace but we got a back room so no view at all. The photos of the rooms are deceptive. Breakfast was nice with plenty of options on offer...
Very good location. Supermarket nearby. Staff friendly & helpful showing attractions around the area.
Moderno is so centrally located to a good number of places of interest, within walking distance, and a good supermarket is just behind it.
The location was really great 1 minute from Sol Square.. But my room was right next to the elevator and even though I have a dark night, the noise was so bad that I couldn't sleep at night....
Easy walking distance to tourist spots

The location is convenient. The main street, square, train station, etc. are all within walking distance, about ten minutes. The breakfast is good. Although there are not many items, the quality is high. The room is well soundproofed, which is beyond expectations and very spacious.
The building has long heritage, the owner has done a wonderful job restoring it to a modern hotel. It was a very good balance of old heritage vs new decor/amenities/cleanliness. Great location with easy access to metro stations, restaurants and tapas bars. Only 30min from the airport. We booked a superior room and got upgraded to a suite. The decor of the suite was amazing
Excellent hotel with a boutique feel with the city centre at your doorstep. The friendly staff and calm atmosphere is a perfect combination and exactly what you need after a day of walking the busy streets of Madrid. Breakfast is good with a wide variety of options and the trademark friendly and attentive service. Would definitely stay here again!
The hotel was a restored palace. Huge bathroom with heated towels and mirror. Couldn’t keep room cool without opening windows. Simple snacks in the afternoon. Friendly and hard working bartender. Delicious chocolates with turn down service
Catalonia las Cortes is a gem! The front desk check in are very friendly, gave us suggestions for dinner, which were fabulous. We were early and our room wasn’t ready so they stored our luggage for us. The location is ideal! Walking distance to the Prado and plaza Mayor. I would recommend this hotel and would definitely stay here again.

Nice hotel with a frat location. Quiet street but close to great attractions. Good A/C and great breakfast spread. Would stay again
Simply terrible. I paid €460 per night and I would never come back — here’s why: Unfriendly front desk — zero warmth, not what you expect at this price point. Worst hotel breakfast I’ve ever had — basic continental spread, no effort. If you order eggs, expect to wait 15 minutes for an omelette. Completely unacceptable. Perfect location, very clean. Comfortable beds. But the walls are paper thin, and you can hear everything from the rooms and hallways.
During the day you could hear the construction work and at night they had a party and I went down to complain and they offered me some headphones very rudely. The breakfast had little variation, but everything else was fine.

Their value for money proposition is certainly higher. It is not a luxury hotel room, nor does it pretend to be. It has all you need and is well-maintained.
