Rome, 26 Vicolo delle Ceste 🧭 Map
The location is fantastic, just around the corner from the Pantheon. The staff is also lovely, very friendly. We had two rooms and one room had great air conditioning, the second the air didn't work and were provided a fan which did help but was still warm. It is a little noisy with the construction in a building across the alley which seemed to go on at all hours. Overall though, I would recommend...
Facilities are good. Bathroom mildew around shower could use some bleaching but otherwise rooms and bathroom were great. Our big problem here is that our room windows opened up to alley where Minerva hotel employees smoked and gathered all day and night and trash was put out and moved as well. Super noisy and smokey so we could not keep windows opened without lots of noise and smoke coming into our...
Nomos Hotel Rocks! A super cool and zen vibe that takes you by surprise. This hotel is like going to a spa you didn't realize you needed in the middle of a whirlwind vacation. The concept is indeed very raw, yet strikingly chic, relaxing and incredibly tranquil. The music cascading throughout is heard in spas worldwide. The bed is highly comfortable. The shower and amenities are a dream and the...
Positives. The people are very nice and helpful. They'll call you a cab if asked, they greet you warmly when you arrive or leave, etc. And the rooms are nice and clean. However, the rooms are also VERY small. Also, the entry system is weird. You have to use your room key to get through the front door into the main lobby. Well, when we were checking in, we didn't obviously didn't have a key yet. And...
beautiful design! every detail was so well thought out. great breakfast as well. i am an architect and so much appreciate great design and was blown away!
Great location, friendly staff The staff were great, I only knocked of a star because the sound proofing in the room was poor. They did offer a complimentary breakfast but it wasn't enjoyable. Housekeeping made the bed while we were out but they didnt change the bedding. The location was ideal, perfect for walking to all major locations with lots of good places to eat near by.

Wonderful hotel located in the perfect spot! Rooms were clean and spacious. I had read some mixed reviews but so glad I went with my instincts and booked it because it did not disappoint!
A bit odd but mostly comfortable. Air conditioning worked. Paint in the room chipped in many places. No hot water in the morning for a shower. Cars cannot come to the door so you need to be able to walk to taxi stand. Quite noisy in the evening at the Spanish steps. Decor is quite odd and very dated. Hard to find because it is an upper floor in what looks like an office building so you have to look...
This hotel was a splurge for us and we booked it for the location and hopes to experience a true Italian vibe for our 30th anniversary. While the hotel location was excellent (we overlooked the Spanish steps), the staff was not friendly, we were not allowed to bring any outside wine to celebrate our 30th anniversary on the terrace in our room, and the wifi was terrible. The shower leaked all over the...
We had the most incredible time at this hotel. You couldn’t ask for a better location, just a few feet from the Spanish Steps and right in the heart of the city. The entire stay had a private, intimate feel, and the staff, especially Judith, were absolutely wonderful. They went above and beyond to make sure our 3-year-old daughter had everything she needed, which made our trip even more special. Thank...
We would normally rate 5*, as this is our second time at this hotel. We love it there. This time unfortunately was not as perfect…we had a terrible send off. We checked out early morning and went down to wait for our car pickup to the airport, which was scheduled for 7:30. Once we went downstairs, we realized we could use the breakfast coupons we had initially refused ( we were told breakfast opened...
Love this place, right on the Spanish steps..great views and ppl watching. Very clean and very comfortable beds.

Perfect location and environment. Great service and super nice breakfast buffet
This hotel is clearly past it's heydays. It looks old and pretty but there is mold, the toilet seat is broken, the seat of the desk was missing and other discrepancies. I suppose if you get a good deal, which they seem to offer to negate the offset of the issues, it's decent enough. Not sure if it's a 4 star hotel though. At a certain point I had to make sure I wasn't in some hidden camera tv show...
+The hotel is in a good location, with a train station nearby, and enough restaurants and cafes if you don't feel like going to the centre. Great breakfast both in variety, quantity and quality and the breakfast staff was very kind. -The furniture are old and the mini fridge in our room was out of order. Worst of all, we stayed for 5 nights and the sheets were not changed at all, not even once! (The...
Nice hotel for these money , very close to metro station. Big problem with the parking . And a lot of noise from the cars ..
Friendly and professional staff great location. The breakfast was good and plentiful. Some flaws there are in the rooms, the windows definitely to renew as well as the bathrooms ,decor a little dated but well preserved. The other flaw ,does not have private parking, it offers a garage, with a payment, you need to make about 500 mm
Nice place to stay with good breakfast, but it's a 1hr walk to the city centre. Also, there was a 6E / pers / night city tax. That can add up, quite a bit, during a week stay, for a couple of persons.

I know it's great to be in an old boutique hotel but this place needs a little upgrade. The lobby ambiance is wonderful and staff very helpful. And yes, the location makes up for the room quirks and that two person elevator
According to the pictures on their web site, I thought I booked a deluxe room when it was a standard room of which the staff denied it. When we questioned it, they said there was another River Palace hotel in Rome but I couldn't find another hotel of the same name. There were no hop on/hop off bus stops close. The closest site was the Spanish Steps and that was a LONG walk. They did have a free breakfast...
Stayed here during our family’s trip to Rome this summer and couldn’t have asked for more. All the hotel staff were so pleasant and lovely. Shout out to Hannibal in the breakfast room for going the extra mile in making our stay so much better. The location is excellent, close to a metro line and Spanish Steps. Highly recommended.
Following a cruise on the Royal Clipper we were booked into River Palace Hotel for overnight stay pending our flight the following morning. The staff were courteous, friendly and helpful and we were able to walk to the Trevi Fountain and the Spanish Steps as well as Piazza del Popolo and the church of Santa Maria del Popolo. Excellent breakfast the following morning. An ideal place to stay.
First time in Rome and this was an amazing location. Couldn't ask for a better staff. Very attentive and friendly. Rooms were clean and well kept. Breakfast was plentiful. Location was great. thanks for a wonderful stay.
Very nice hotel! Staff were great and accommodating and the breakfast here was great! Was in walking distance of plenty of restaurants and shops. Rooms were kind of small but other than that this was a great place to stay and I highly recommend this spot!

Good hotel. Very good center location. Standard room size abit small. Reception good service
Access to tourist attractions is good. The staff were friendly and helpful, even though I don't speak English well. I booked a queen room, but it was small for the price. I thought I had booked a room with a bathtub, but unfortunately it didn't come with one. The shower head has few holes and is thin, making it difficult to wash. Even with high water pressure, it still hurts the parts of my body that...
Great location, friendly staff
The hotel is in a convenient location, popular locations are on average 20-25 minutes walk away. Breakfast is excellent, a wide variety of dishes and very tasty pastries!
The best hotel to visit in Rome
There is a bus stop in front of the hotel. It is a direct bus to the Vatican and Central Station. You can also walk to the Trevi Fountain, Santa Maria Basilica, and Piazza di Spagna. The rooms are clean and you can sleep quietly at night.

I was there a few days ago and I was very satisfied with Services which are available in this place. Altough I was only for one night, I noticed that room was very neat and tidy. Bed was really comfortable, and bedding was fresh. the receptionist (Woman with dark hair) was really nice and friendly). Breakfast was delicious. That's a pity that I didn't have any chance to use the swimming pool outdoors...
Staff at this hotel were really great, always with a smile on and ready to help. This made our holiday, we love the shuttle service to the near by station. Only they could put more timings as sometimes not only us but people want to leave a bit later in the morning especially on holiday. My babies love the reception area to use the computer.
It was OK. By no where near a 4 star hotel. The rooms was comfy but cold. The hot water was not that hot at times. The catering staff and bar staff are all very nice. The receptionist could smile a bit more. But out of all the hotel was just OK and we enjoyed our stay
In General, a good hotel. Good Breakfast. But far from the subway. Saves the Shuttle from the hotel. But if you come back later. will have 15-20 minutes to stomp on the most enjoyable area.
I went for a professional event. Very quiet atmosphere, free parking available outside. Location is not convenient if you are a tourist coming to visit Rome, but for meetings and job related events is fine
Staff very friendly and helpful, were two hours earlier there, they let us have our room, no problem at all. WiFi rather poor and breakfast below average. Rooms were clean, but the safety deposit box was too small to fit iPad, Laptop etc. The beds were comfortable but the „king sized bed“ consisted out of 2 single beds pushed together. This wasn’t a major issue though, and for a busy sightseeing day...

Suitable for business, although the subway is not close by walking distance, but the price is good. The distance to the surrounding attractions is acceptable
If there is no taxi, it is very inconvenient. If you are a free traveler who walks a lot, it is difficult to take the subway because the area gets dark quickly in the winter and the shopping district is far away. However, there is breakfast and dinner in the hotel and the accommodation was clean. The staff seemed busy. I want to stay there again next time.
The room is relatively small, the facilities are simple, the surrounding environment is good, and the water bar service is very good
Safe, sanitary, rich breakfast
Traveling to Rome, I unexpectedly booked this Ibis, which is exceptionally good value. It is less than a kilometer walk from the subway. The hotel is next to a quiet community on a high ground. It is very quiet, and people are running in the early morning. The transportation is convenient, and the nearby bus and light rail are good to go everywhere. Breakfast was good and we were overall happy
The room is clean and comfortable and have all needed amenities. The breakfast is great and with a lot of options. The hotel is far from the center area but bus station is located directly beside the hotel.
Great hotel with busstop on the street! The rooms are luxury and nice bathroom. Only the airco doesn’t worked very well for me. But the breakfast and other stuff was really nice!
Love this hotel , rooms very clean the breakfast was delicious .
The hotel was very nice, and so was the staff. The restaurant was top-notch and reasonably priced. The only downside is the location, a bit far from the city center if you're not driving, as the buses don't work very well in Rome. And getting from the airport to the hotel was an odyssey. But everything else was 10/10.
The breakfast had a large variety of authentic Italian dishes. The people working were very helpful in figuring out the day’s itinerary. The room was comfortable with an AC made the room perfect temperature. They ordered a taxi for us and gave us breakfast to go when we were in hurry.

Classic style hotel that the location is nearby Rome Terminie station and no bad service with smile, and the cozy fitness room which facilities is basic. And I would like to say that breakfast is so good, which include beverage like coffee and juice.
Don't be fooled by the score. The service was average, no real like or dislike to it. Getting to the hotel was easy as its around the corner and getting to the room was no problem either, clealiness was as expected, however the walls were fairly thin, you could hear next door fairly easily. This is a small boutique hotel that will make your visit to Rome as comfortable as possible …. even for families. HIGHLY RECOMMEND! Grazie Mille to the staff for making our stay so special!

⭐ 3.5/5 – Comfortable Stay, but Room for Improvement Our stay at Hotel Caravel in Rome was overall quite good. The rooms were comfortable, the breakfast options were nice, and the hotel is conveniently located about 20 minutes away from Roma Termini train station, which made getting around easy. However, there were a few things that could be improved. There was no kettle in the room, and we had to...
Definitely not 4 star, but a good 3 star. I wouldn't recommend for families or those with young children due to the proximity to the 6 lanes which are noisy. I didn't like that the balcony looked like you could climb over to the neighbouring balcony, but there was no handle on the other side so it was secure enough. The shower gel compartment kept dropping into the shower but everything else was fine...
It’s not the newest hotel but give you the experience of it. Excellent ubication not in the center and fantastic well comunicate by buses to diffent points of the city. When we were tired the rooms was incredible fresh to rest on it. The breakfast is enough with incredible fresh food. All the employees were very helpful and always the front desk suggest things.
The hotel itself is great overall — friendly staff and nice rooms. However, our room felt quite dated. There were no USB ports in the sockets, which you’d expect from a modern hotel by now. The hairdryer wasn’t working properly, and the walls were scratched and looked dirty; a fresh coat of paint would help a lot. The location is probably the biggest downside. You need to make reservations at most...
I recently stayed at this hotel and while there were a few positives, the overall experience was disappointing due to a series of overlooked details and frustrating issues. To start with the good—the staff were great: friendly, helpful, and informative. They made an effort to assist whenever asked, and that hospitality was appreciated. The location was decent, about a 30-minute bus ride to the city...
Very nice hotel. Clean and cozy. It shows with their 4-star hotel ratings. The service is great. There's no kettle in the room, and we asked for it, and they provided it right away. The room has no air-conditioning as well (I think because of the government's requirement), we need to ask to turn it on, and again, they did it right away. Breakfast is great.
Everything else is ok, masterkey to enter the room, fast elevator, meal
