A great stay. From the first moment arriving with our car. Parking right outside the door in the yard. 👍👏
A great welcome from the staff in the reseption. ✨️
A hotel full of paintings and different pieces of art. A lot of details when you look around.👀👍
It was not much noise from the street and for us it was very central (we love to walk i the city). Only 20 minutes walk to via Margutta and shopping...
Lovely staff. Very nice and Central. Easy parking. Easy walk to everywhere.
Classy restaurant. Too classy for me. But great food.
Not a 5 star hotel. Rooms are tiny, no sound proofing from the hallway. Administration should be ashamed to list this as a 5 star hotel. I would not give this hotel more than a 3 star rating. Facilites are nowhere near a 5 star hotel. Having travelled al over Europe staying in 5 star hotels, this is by far the most underwhelming property I've stayed at.
Want to iron your clothes? Not in this 5 star...
It was a pleasure staying at this place. The rooms was so nice and clean, we had everything we needed and more. Love the big shower, the beautiful windows, the best breakfast and bed. Everything was amazing. The service was great, everyone was so nice and helpful, we felt so seen and loved. The staff was perfect!

We ve been in Rome many times but this was an exquisite one!
One of the most heartwarming welcoming, top breakfast and nicest staff in town! Definitely coming back!
Fantastic staff and amenities. The complimentary breakfast is amazing. A true one of a kind experience.

I really loved this hotel! Great location and such charming rooms! The front desk staff were wonderful (though the restaurant staff weren't very welcoming! They wouldn't let me take an apple to go - terrible!). The breakfast was good and housekeeping was excellent! I enjoyed everything 💙
Good place with fine price 👍
The hotel is in convenient location.
personally recommended this hotel as the staff and breakfast is very nice.
Absolutely loved this hotel. Highly recommend. It’s not central as such but we used a hop on hop off bus. Breakfast was delicious with lots of choice. Staff friendly and polite, while helpful.
Great little hotel about 12 min walk from the train station (get a taxi with luggage - €15 euros). Connected to the quality bus services and metro.
Inside staff are friendly and accommodating. The room was really clean, and quality on the whole for the price.
The breakfast was good with choice.
I would definitely stay again.
Only negative was the shower screen but they had tried to resolve...

I had a wonderful stay at Marcella. The hotel is beautiful with old world Italian charm. The room was quite nice & clean & the bed was comfortable. The toiletries in the bathroom were also wonderful! The staff at Marcella was always attentive to our needs & upon arrival, the gentleman working the reception desk recommended a casual restaurant right around the corner, where I enjoyed a delicious pasta...
Very good hotel in an ideal location, roof top bar is lovely. We had a city view room it was a bit noisy with but we were in a big city, it didn't stop me sleeping. Plenty restaurants/bars in the same street, a chemist and grocery shop over the road and around the corner 2minutes away. The hotel is very clean our room was a standard double and had a large very comfortable bed. Bathroom was also very...
The Marcella Royal is a lovely hotel located just close enough yet far away enough from Roma Termini train station. It’s a lovingly cared for grand dame of a hotel with a very pleasant front desk staff including Martina and Mauro who gave us personal attention every day of our stay. The real draw is the rooftop garden where we had a delicious and varied breakfast every day of our stay. We also enjoyed...
We stayed here for three nights and were thoroughly impressed. The rooms were spacious, clean, and well-equipped with all the necessary amenities. The staff was exceptional, and their service was evident from the moment we spoke to them. The location is conveniently situated with good bus connectivity. Overall, we had a great experience at this hotel. The only suggestion I have is that the bathing...
We stayed at the Marcella Royal Hotel in Rome for one night at the end of our honeymoon, and it was the perfect way to wrap up our trip. The room was incredibly spacious, and the king-size bed was a true luxury, especially for Europe.
What really stood out, though, was the staff—they were warm, personable, and full of great local recommendations.
The hotel itself was spotless and beautifully designed...
All the hotel staff were friendly and explained things in detail, and made me feel like I was at home. The location was good, but the view from my room wasn't that pretty, but it was a very satisfying experience and a great trip. I intend to stay there again on my next trip.

Great ambience with good style! Cosy, elegant breakfast room. Decent sized bedroom and very comfortable shower! Plus, the hotel is in a very good central location in proximity to Colosseum, etc. and the central station!
We stayed here 2 weeks ago and enjoyed our stay. The staff was very friendly and Chris at the front desk made our stay quite lovely! The hotel was very clean and we also enjoyed the breakfast offered. We will definitely return if we come back to Rome!
The personnel was adorable! Very helpful and courteous. Big shout-out to Chris and Xiomara, who were the sweetest.
And the hotel is extremely well located. During my two days stays, I didn't have to take public transport at all to see all the main sites in the heart of the city!
Other than that, the breakfast buffet is decent and my room was clean and convenient.
I hope to stay there again someday...
Overall great experience. Room was nice, only issue we encountered was some water was leaking from bathroom given it was open bathroom. I think bathroom was more suited to disabled people? Otherwise it was great. Was nice and spacious, had cupboard to store things. Air-conditioned was great. Staff was nice and helpful. Great communication and very kind and friendly. Cleanliness was great. We did not...
Hotel Giolli Nazionale in Rome offered an overall pleasant experience. The location is ideal, just about 1 km from Roma Termini Station, making it easy to get to and from the airport or other parts of the city. Additionally, it’s within walking distance to many of Rome’s major tourist attractions, including the Colosseum, Trevi Fountain, and the Spanish Steps, which made sightseeing incredibly convenient...
Great location. Close to everything
Cons:
There is a glass window that connects and separates the sink and shower. If not careful you can easily bump into it and break it as it’s not sturdy
Also the shower has no door so water just leaks everywhere and you can easily slip.
I don’t think they wash the sheets daily. Housekeeping comes in and makes the bed but doesn’t replace it for the remainder of...

The staff was very accommodating. Room was huge, clean and with complete toiletries and hotel slippers unlike some hotels in Rome (they don't provide hotel slippers).
The location is very accessible to public transportation and tourist spots too.
hotel too commercial for my ideal target of stay, to the limit of my needs even if only for one night.
Zero flavor everything average between decor, food and services.
Good for families or people who have a standard with no high level needs.
Wonderful place, attentive and friendly staff! Place I would return!
The room is not very big, but very comfortable and very clean. The service is very good and very welcoming. The location is also very good, very close to various attractions in the center of Rome, and the transportation is very convenient.
The deluxe version of the room has 2 large beds, which is ok for a family. It is similar to a 2-studio room, which is very good👍. The location is also in the center, which is very convenient for shopping and strolling! recommend.

Excellent location - a few min walk from Roma Termini train station/airpot train and sight seeing busses.
Great value for money, room was clean, aircon was excellent, friendly staff.
Rooms as expected very small , beds hard a s a rock very eroupe. But staff super nice. Location location location. Very easy to take Bus or subway or train. Also airport drop off amazing . Area is not bad even at night . Possibly other side of tracks maybe worse lol.
It is 1 min away from the SIT bus from Fiumicino and Ciampino Airports at Termini Station. The Terravision bus stop is further away. Clean, nice staff. The hot water for making tea at reception is unreliable. There is no kettle in the room.
Convenient location. Friendly staff. Really helped us all the way.
Very small bathrooms as well as no air conditioning in the room. In summer it's very uncomfortable to stay in the room with just normal fan system which seems like air conditioning system but is not. Location wise good near to rome train station
Nice hotel, but the bathroom had a musky smell to it that has not left the entire stay
You are 2 minutes away from Termini. It was great to walk with our suitcases to get access to the train and buses. It was perfect! The good was good. For the most deshovoe hotel cool
Good service, air conditioning was fully working and staff is kind. The only problem I have encountered is about the room being very small, the central position is a big advantage. Way better than some hotels nearby yet not perfect. Breakfast could be improved.

Very nice hotel, tho it’s far from a lot of things but fun people and very clean!
Overall not bad. But be careful of your roommates may be super loud even in the quiet night at night.
Yellow Square was a great place to stay as a solo Traveler. It’s secure and clean and they have a lot of activities and info for travelers. Staff was great, really friendly and helpful. There is also a laundromat which is super convenient. Great stay!
Everything is good. It’s good place to live. In addition, they provide free drinks and pasta.
Well managed hostel! Very suitable for backpackers. Provide free drinks, kitchen to prepare light meal and laundry machine (coins- based)
Great accommodation. Location had many bus stops and a few metro stations nearby. Was easy to travel around Rome as well as make a visit to Vatican City. There’s a few mini marts and supermarkets nearby which makes it easy to grab some snacks. Had multiple restaurants to try out as well.

The staff was amazing to me! They went above the typical customer service to return a lost jacket to me. They were very communicative and helpful. Can't thank them enough for the extra attention.
The hotel itself is clean, albeit a little worn, and the rooms are spacious. But the staff - reception desk, bartender, doorman, restaurant - is where this hotel shines!
The hotel is located in a quiet area with six floors of rooms, full breakfast service from 07:30 to 11:00 hrs. We booked via British Airways and were upgraded from a junior suite to the largest full suite, by the lovely Marta, with four rooms two bathrooms. It was ok, but a lot to improve
Rooms are generally small and the bathroom area is cold
The receptionist should explain a bit better the services that the hotel can offer to clients ( room services, number to deal to call then, check out time, WiFi password and so on..)
Great location, bed is quite comfortable and clean
Great location. Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps, boutiques - all within walking distance. Metro is 5-7 minutes walk away. There are many restaurants nearby where you can have dinner and breakfast. I do not recommend breakfast at the hotel. Expensive and inedible. The room is small but cozy. I had to buy shampoo, since there was only shower gel in the room. But these little things did not spoil the impression...
The location is very good. You can take the subway or shuttle from the airport to Termini train station, then follow the map to take bus 71, get off and walk 700 meters to the hotel. It is very convenient to go to attractions, shopping, and Chinese restaurants around
Very accommodating, requested a bath instead of shower, it may be half size tub. King size bed a little uncomfortable as its two singles put together and maybe required thicker mattress protectors?
The shower water pressure is OK, and the air conditioner is OK!
No quilt, only a sheet, blanket! The bed felt dirty and the little ones with delicate skin would feel itchy all over!

It's a pretty old building, it has an interesting aesthetic. There isn't much to comment about the rooms, but it appears that the refrigerator doesn't work. The biggest problem is with breakfast. The omelette is freeze-dried, paestries in general are not good. The croissant, for example, is very doughy, not at all crunchy, you feel like eating a flavorless cake.

Great location near the train station. Very nice coffee for breakfast. Was in need of refurbishment but that was reflected in the very reasonable rates.
Surprisingly good after reading some bad reviews for this hotel. Location is fine near to the train station, the hop on-hop off bus service and some excellent restaurants. Room was very clean (definitely no bed-bugs!).
Nicely located next to the main train station and easy to find. The staff are friendly and very helpful. The room was clean no complaints
Very happy
Great hotel. Near metro and station. To service no complaints, everything is clean and polite. Large bathroom with openable window and who smokes will appreciate, it was not necessary to run before going to sleep on the street.
Great location. Close to Termini station. The room was a single room so it was small and compact. The breakfast spread was decent everyday. The only drawback was the noise when it was raining outside at night. There was no sufficient sound proofing and the noise of rain falling kept me away for quite a while.

Quiet and comfortable hotel
This is a very comfortable hotel which is close to the airport. It is perfect for one night stay when your flight landed at the airport too late. The only issue is the Spa and sauna which was closed but appeared to be available on the hotel introduction.
Overall the stay was nice enough when you’re not spending lots of time in the hotel.
