All the staff I met were very warm and friendly. My wife had some health problems during the trip. Honestly, if I could give more than 5 stars to Basilio 55 I would. The room was great. Had an air co and despite the busy area was so quite at night for a great sleep. A very charming hotel, very good location and excellent staff. Very spacious room with views of the park, no noise. Very good breakfast also with views of the park. The only detail that I didn't like is that when paying the rates they ask you if you want to include a tip. I think it's an uncomfortable situation since tips to the staff (who deserve them) should always be voluntary.

What a beautiful hotel in an ideal location. The room was clean and well layed out. We were able to check in immediately. The front desk agent on the day we checked out held our luggage in the back to ensure we were safe from pickpocket, while waiting for our taxi. The breakfast had a large variety of food. The fruit was fresh and the coffee did not taste like regular cheap hotel coffee.

this hotel is very strategic if you have a car. It has a very convenient parking and the metro stop is very close. great Breakfast. we will be back for sure.

We had a very pleasant stay at this hotel, with free private parking. Standard room, clean bathroom except for the shower (rust on the walls and mold on the shower head). Good value for money. Good breakfast, very varied. Regarding the restaurant, no disappointments, a small welcome appetizer was offered before our main course. Pleasant and responsive staff.

I stayed here many years ago, 2004, with my wife and parents, and we loved the place. The cathedral in the reception area was, once discovered, magically breathtaking. We were informed that this is where the conclave were gathered and secluded. For many years, it disappeared as a hotel. I'm glad to see it's back.
